A team sports bettor is similar to someone who influences you on who or what to bet on, which leads to losses and misunderstandings after the outcome of the bet because if you are the type of person who blames others, it is a huge problem because you will undoubtedly begin blaming others. Though the majority of what I know is that they are lone sports bettors, they are sometimes seeking predictions from others in order to compare them to their own decisions and determine which analysis is better. I am also a lone sports bettor, and I mostly rely on my knowledge over others' unless they give predictions that are better than mine.

When an influencer share his prediction on Youtube, he didn't actually bet on that's match! he get a money from people including you who watch him. This mean when you're lose your bet, the influencer is make money either he predict A or B, his purpose is to get views.

Even he's not share it in Youtube, he share on his own website and when his site become big, he can get money by rent some part for gambling ads, easy money.

Sports bettors usually start in a group but after some time do their own analysis because they usually learn how to analyze and how to analyze, this is how I start I used to be a member of a group until I left the group because the subscription is going up now I prefer to do my analysis but look on other people's predictions to see if I miss or overlook something.

Groups related on betting or other thing especially when dealing some money from different people is somehow sometimes associated with scam. So I guess this will never give any benefits to a gambler since if the group they join will ask some money and say they will collecting money so that they can bet a huge amount on their predictions then that's how they get scam. So much better to be lone bettor and learn from your self rather than looking for tips gotten by random groups.

Well, it's your money in the first place and you should be the one to dictate what you want to do with it and not others. I'm a lone bettor with historical analysis of the team etc, I've also previously see another people opinion on this forum or in other media to strengthen my predictions. But to bet on the bettor group didn't cross my mind because they usually charge every month, it's better for me to bet with small money on other people free predictions at this forum, they reveal also an analysis of why they made that bet.

Under your definition, I do not think anyone is properly a lone bettor. You eventually are not immune to the noise and the news that are out there unless you do not talk to anyone, listen to any news nor have any world contact. It is for each to decide how to filter that noise and how to make the best out of the limited information and the limited reliability of such information.

I agree. If you are a lone bettor you should always check things first before betting, there are many factors in sports especially during tournaments. Like who are going to play for team A, or who are not going to play for team B. Who are not playing because of injuries. Who are not playing because of sickness. These are the kind of factors that affect your betting, while you can check these things on your own there will be some people, same bettor on the same sports or game that you might want to also check beforehand.

Well for me I'm kind of like an analyzer bettor, I check stats, standings, players, history, etc. before I bet.

I would fall in the category of the lone sport bettor. I always try to interpret the odds myself and do my own research on teams I’m betting on and against. Occasionally, I do let myself be swayed by the opinions of other people placing the same bet. I do take tips from other people but I generally don’t let myself be be dependent on other people’s pointers and advice.
Most of these predictions people find online on these various platforms are in most times misleading and purposefully false.

Looking for groups doesnt always mean that you would really be relying into their choices or picks because you arent that dumb on not to make decisions for yourself specially on your betting decisions.
You wouldnt really be just that make out that kind of decision.If you do find that your current betting results or outcome are really that good then there's no sense for you to find for some groups.
It would be always better that you would be relying on your own skills and knowledge when it comes to your betting choices and options.

This is me, I don’t rely to anyone with regards to my betting decision because in gambling you should know what you are doing and relying to others are not ok most of the time. Analyzing the whole team and players is ideal even if you are not a serious bettor, this can still save you from losing your money. Betting is fun if you do it on your own, its a good achievement if you won based on your own analysis, the happiness is different.

Lone bettor on football and group bettor on Basketball, Tennis, Cricket, horse racing. In the latter I go with the popular maxim that , "two or more good heads are better than one". In the former, I am driven by the saying that, "experience is the best teacher". I have won and lost on both sides but that doesn't mean that one is better than other. I like to think that people who see themselves as independent will most likely be lone bettors while those who think themselves as communal will be comfortable being in a group. This is just my hypothesis.

Betting alone for me is no fun, sometimes you have to share your predictions and odds interpretation with the sport community that you're in, it has nothing against you btw.
It's quite fun to share to others your standings and how well or bad your predictions are. The same goes with the other bettors.
However, choosing to be a lone bettor is fine also as long as your bets and interpretations with the odds are effective.

This stands to prove the same point; that sports isn't about too many experiences, -- very many times, the experience you've had will only make you reselect invalid games with bigger odds..or sometimes you might assume that games with smaller odd stands a bigger Chance to bring winnings -- when the final whistle is blown, it becomes a different story.
I think it's much preferred if someone could get ideas from a couple of peeps in a social group or something -- not about those gold diggers/ bloggers that would quickly make shabby analysis just to rip you off your cash-- NO
On the other hand, sometimes it's good to listen to yourself and follow your insight, Just the way you understand best -- it all depends
