i am something less experience and has bad english so ignore

Government cannot ban bitcoins. If they were able to, then by now you would have been running here and there to the banks. The reason for which government cannot ban Bitcoins is that due to the decentralised nature of the coin. Due to this, no other person or organisation can know how many Bitcoins I am holding or have in my wallet. But yes they can ban or blocklist the exchanges for which we won’t be able to cash out the Bitcoins through exchanges. But guess what! We have always P2P deals available in order to encounter this. Hope this helps you OP to understand the things better.

P2P made buying and selling of coins easier with good exchanges. Banning of Bitcoins is impossible because there are still other means Bitcoin operation can be carried out, it's users making transactions daily and it's massive, with the aides of exchanges. Bitcoin operation can be prohibited in some certain extents but can't be ban, the government can not ruled out the multitude choice but they can reduce it, looks like when the government tried even harder to put an end to it, that's the more privileged people are getting more educated on bitcoin and how it operates.

If governments could ban Bitcoin, they would have done it by now.

They can still ban it completely through centralized exchanges. By cutting off people's access to BTC with Fiat, it will be much harder for the cryptocurrency to be used at a large scale worldwide. The only solution would be to acquire BTC in person or through a decentralized exchange. But if Bitcoin is declared illegal for mainstream use, then people will think twice before using other methods to buy it with Fiat. They could easily face fines, jail time, or execution (depending on the country).

At least we know that not all countries of the world will turn themselves against Bitcoin. Some will support it, while others will reject it. As long as there's some level of support for BTC, we can be sure it won't go away anytime soon. Who knows what the future holds for the cryptocurrency? Just my thoughts Grin

Even if they banned all centralized exchanges and declared it illegal, it would be difficult to ban it outright. But if that happens, the global acceptance of bitcoin or the expectation that bitcoin will become widespread will be gone, and the one who has the most difficulty is us, no one else. So let's not expect that to happen.

Although the government cannot completely ban bitcoin, we do not need to make a public statement against them. We will be even more disadvantaged when we deliberately go against them, they are still the strongest in this world.

Well, dear, this statement can't be ignored as far as I know yes the centralized finance institutions always try to damage the crypto reputation on a social level, and somehow they are successful until now as they always do manipulate the market and our emotions too. For the latest updates, Gemini and Genesis are trying to manipulate the market and for the long run they going to affect the market badly.

Indian government (maybe other also)  say that " to ban cryptocurrency we need global help"
Good luck with that.

The real question is: why are governments so afraid of Bitcoin (AKA money they don't control and can't print)? Think about it, and you'll find the reason why I like Bitcoin.
They did, China for one have completely shut off cryptocurrency usage within their country AFAIK, and everyone who will be found mining or generating cryptocurrencies in their households are subjected to prison or other grave punishments. So yes, they are very much capable of banning usage of bitcoin. Although I must agree with your statement, they need sheer luck and a ton of money and support from all the other countries in order to successfully shut off bitcoin, which is certainly not gonna happen, not when measures are being taken to regulate its usage anyway.

In fact, if the government could, it would have banned it by itself.  But what will happen if the government bans, everything is in the hands of the people.  Like Bitcoin is banned in our country but we are using it secretly.  Bitcoin has spread across the world in such a way that it can never be eradicated.
People are now leaning towards the modern age.  Meanwhile, the use of paper money has increased the amount of money online.  At this time, if the government wants to stop this bitcoin, then the internet system has to be down from all over the world.  Then Bitcoin may be banned.  But this is not possible for governments in any way which is why Bitcoin will never stop.  If the government wants to, the state director government of the country can ban Bitcoin in that area.  But people will use it secretly it can never be denied like Bitcoin is illegal in our country but we have been using it secretly.

How will they ban what they can see, most government are against bitcoin and they have all tried to ban bitcoin but its impossible for them, most countries have threatened their citizens not to use bitcoin again but they can't just stop bitcoin. Recently in my country, the central bank asked all banks to block people's accounts that is linked to bitcoin transaction or cryptocurrency, but they failed, people didn't stop buying bitcoin, Infact it was just like the ban placed created more awareness for people.

Not only in India, but in the majority of other nations as well, governments make attempts to do so but are unsuccessful because they are unable to do so. How could they outright outlaw something that is obvious to them, and bitcoin has saved many communities? Instead, governments around the world are only making noise in an attempt to instill a small amount of fear in the populace.

It can be seen that so far the government has not been able to ban bitcoin and they have not tried enough, so whether they can completely ban bitcoin is still a question mark. But if they decide to ban it completely it is also very difficult and laborious, I think they will not waste any effort with bitcoin. Instead, they will enact regulations that are more favorable to them, and governments are doing just that.

China is a special case. Their Great Firewall gives them a level of control most governments can only dream of. If that's what it takes to ban Bitcoin, we have much bigger things to worry about.

China has completely banned bitcoin, but there are still many Chinese investors who are still active, there will be people who are against the ban even though they are not the majority.

Today, the market is recovering, and the total market cap has just reached 1 trillion, and the capitalization of bitcoin is over 300 billion. It can be said that this is too small a number for a national economy like China, bitcoin capitalization is smaller than 1 of their business, so there is no reason for them to bother finding a ban and legalizing it just to buy cheap prices. Bitcoin is not big enough to impact a large country economically.

Well, isn't it already in some countries that prohibit it but for now bitcoin still exists and I think this is only made to make it as fud and does not rule out countries that prohibit it only to weaken it in terms of price so when it goes down they can buy it pretty cheap and re-legalize it.
We already know several examples such as China which continues to try and even change regulations regarding legal and illegal several times but still things like that don't really have much effect on crypto lovers because developments on this matter are still ongoing and bigger.

Even if it's like that, it's not a guarantee that they will ban it forever.
We may even know how many times there have been some regulatory changes to legalizing or illegalizing bitcoins in recent years.

As for those who have bigger economic conditions I think as long as they have the thought of buying bitcoins at cheap prices why not because regardless of what I use your words even though in China it has been banned but there are still a handful of people who are still in Crypto and it is possible that there will be several people with high ranks not because we also don't know what is there as a whole because information about China is sometimes always limited.

I believe all governments will not be able to ban bitcoin forever, including China. Simply because of taxes, with the rapid growth of bitcoin, it is almost certain that bitcoin will grow bigger and bigger, and if they still want to continue to ban it, it will only take more effort, time, and money. Meanwhile, they can legalize and regulate it so they can earn a huge tax. Whether bitcoin is good or bad in the eyes of the government, it is less important than the tax they will collect from it.

Even though the government says bitcoin can disrupt the domestic payment system, money laundering and has no intrinsic value, but all the reasons issued by the government can't stop bitcoin, even bitcoin is increasingly popular and more and more loved by almost all people, it's true as you say now the government is doing ways to take advantage of crypto assets, the proof is that the Chinese government has carried out a massive ban on cryptocurrencies, but the Chinese government cannot prohibit their people from adopting bitcoin.

It very rare for government to put a stop to bitcoin, reason been that so many of the government officials do use it and so many great business men and women do use it too.
I guess the government has seen something in it that they want to stop it but that not really the ideas to stop bitcoin I guess! Well think it amines of extracting capitals from them so as to threaten them that the want to put an end to bitcoin.
Bitcoin cannot be stop by government but only those that are in the central power to stop it.
We need to figure out the need and aim of the government towards the ban of bitcoin.

It's clear that they really don't like how some third-party interfere with their own money. I think it's not the government but the people who are working on the government got tired of having the higher-ups control everything and the worst part they would take everything from you. And most likely the one that spread these FUDS are the people working from the banks.

Now, let's talk about how all of the government in the whole world will agree to each other and make a choice to ban/stop Bitcoin when there are conflict that isn't done yet that started a long time ago yet it still continue till this day.

We are not the government, so we can't know exactly if they can ban bitcoin, but some governments have tried to ban bitcoin in the past but still failed and faced a lot of difficulties. So it can be said that banning bitcoin is very difficult.
But today, governments are gradually accepting bitcoin more because they have seen benefits from it, and they are setting regulations for it instead of banning it outright.

Indian government (maybe other also)  say that " to ban cryptocurrency we need global help" my question is : can bitcoin be banned if all government will agree to ban bitcoin

i am something less experience and has bad english so ignore
parable of the government and central bank trying to ban cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin.

source >>> google

the government may be able to intervene in cryptocurrency exchange platforms, and centralized altcoins but intervening in bitcoin is an impossibility.  already millions of people who love bitcoin, if you want to turn off bitcoin then the government must restart millions of people's minds Cheesy

I was about to skip this thread after reading through it, but a thought just rang in my head.

According to what Franky said, if all governments globally agree to stop Bitcoin, it will go brown and not permanently dark.

I think Bitcoin is too powerful to be stopped. That moment when the government will try to stop it, at first it may trigger fear and a quick sell off, but then there will be more whales to buy and after some time, Bitcoin will be a bit scace, so by the time the fear is reducing, people will begin to buy back, which will top up the price.

In a simple sentence, if Bitcoin is forced-ban globally, it will only last for a while, and when it bounces back, the price is going to double.

Op, I don't believe Bitcoin can be stopped globally; the ban can only be effective in some countries.
