His contributions for Al Nassr and Saudi Professional League is huge in expansion to other nations including European nations that have many fans of Cristinao Ronaldo or knew him well after about two decades of his career in some biggest leagues in Europe.

That's why they almost kneeled to CR7 to make him stay, they didn't let him go from Arabia, so they know why they do it, I'm sure another player would let him go, it doesn't matter, but CR7 brings fame, money and is bringing more interest to this league, I myself didn't follow this league before, now I follow it, in fact I used to follow the African league more because I think there is a lot of talent and I like the football they have there.

What you say is true. If Ronaldo provides excessive input, it will appear as if he isn't a player, but rather someone in charge of Al Nasr. However, this is undeniable, because according to existing reports, Ronaldo currently owns a share of Al Nasr's profits. I forget the percentage, but the point is, this means that Ronaldo can be indirectly said to be part of Al Nasr now. Therefore, it's natural for Ronaldo to provide considerable advice to those in charge at Al Nasr, because Ronaldo is indeed part of Al Nasr.

Therefore, I don't think we need to worry about this. Because if Ronaldo is given more authority by Al Nasr, we have no right to envy him. This is indeed an agreement or deal Ronaldo made with Al Nasr. Because, as we know, if Al Nasr doesn't fulfill all the conditions proposed by Ronaldo when his contract is extended, it's highly likely that Ronaldo will not agree to stay at Al Nasr. So, yes, that's the current reality. So, we all have to accept all the facts.

Well we don't need to be jealous because Cristiano Ronaldo deserves what he gets at the moment. Because Cristiano Ronaldo currently has the authority for this team too. So it is quite natural that he is also always there to provide advice or something like that for this club. Because based on the news I read Cristiano Ronaldo was also given 15% ownership of shares for the club. So that well this makes Cristiano Ronaldo not just a player there. But he also became one of the shareholders for the club. So well Cristiano Ronaldo's authority has indeed become bigger there.

And actually Cristiano Ronaldo has also had a huge impact on the popularity of Al-nassr and the SPL itself. Which this impact will not be obtained from bringing in other players. So it is very natural that Cristiano Ronaldo all his wishes will try to be fulfilled by Al-nassr. Because Al-nassr and SPL also need Cristiano Ronaldo.

(Sourch: https://www.nusabali.com/berita/195598/ronaldo-teken-kontrak-rp10-triliun-di-al-nassr-fasilitas-yang-didapat-bikin-geleng-geleng)

It's true, we don't need to envy Ronaldo's achievements at Al Nassr, as he certainly has the right to provide input. Indeed, Ronaldo was given a 15% stake, and it's understandable that Ronaldo seems to be constantly controlling Al Nassr. With a 15% stake, he certainly doesn't want Al Nassr to stagnate, as success would undoubtedly increase Cristiano Ronaldo's income.

Indeed, for those unfamiliar with the situation, Ronaldo's actions are undoubtedly surprising. Ronaldo's contributions to Al Nassr are indeed significant. Indeed, if Al Nassr had brought in players other than Ronaldo, Al Nassr and the SPL wouldn't have become as famous as they are now. Cristiano Ronaldo is certainly serious about the upcoming season, and I hope Al Nassr will fulfill Ronaldo's requests for the benefit of Al Nassr. I also hope Ronaldo asks Al Nassr to quickly bring in a top player to replace John Duran. because of course it would be better to buy many top players so that Al Nassr is ready to compete with other strong teams in the next season.

Today on Al Nassr's Instagram, Ronaldo did not participate in pre-season training:

https://www.instagram.com/p/DMYgQIDIviP/

He is a very dedicated player. I believe he must have had a very strong reason for not being in the coaching room. According to someone's comment I read, he said Ronaldo will be in training on Friday. It is very important that the team prepares well to win the title. In 8 days, Al Nassr will play their only friendly match.

It will be a match against a weak opponent, I'm talking about Toulouse. After this match, I don't know if they will play any more friendly matches, but the fact is that next month, on August 19th, Al Nassr will have their first serious match, and it will be against the current league winner. It will be the first big test of the season.

I'd love to see Ronaldo become a manager after he retires, and I think a lot of people feel the same way. He might be just as great as a manager. After renewing his contract with Al Nassr, we can continue to watch him play for the next two seasons. Without a doubt, Ronaldo is like a magnet in the Saudi Pro League, he has a huge influence on its development. We probably wouldn't talk about the Saudi Pro League as often if Ronaldo wasn't there, his presence has brought about a major change. It makes sense that Ronaldo wants a bigger influence at Al Nassr, including in the transfer market, he is still very ambitious to win many trophies in the future.

With his extensive experience in the world of football, where he has played in at least five different leagues, including the Portuguese League, the English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and now in the Saudi Pro League, not to mention his experience playing for the Portuguese national team, he already has enough experience as a foundation to become a coach. And in several matches with his national team, when he was taken off the field, when he was on the sidelines, he did not sit down but discussed with his coach about changes in strategy and tactics. One thing that shows that at least a little bit he has the foundation to be able to become a coach. However, until now, the Portuguese megastar has not shown any interest in becoming a coach, but let's wait and see when he actually retires as a football player, at that time we will have a definite answer.

The SPL is a pure battle of cash vs. cash. I think this is what the fans in European football and South American football have long been afraid of, it takes away so much from the cultural and emotional aspects. This doesn't mean that cash isn't important in Europe, beyond any doubt it is, but you still have other factors driving the competition and making it an exciting event for those watching the games either in person or digitally. One thing that still applies to the SPL is the law of monetary physics. Wink I just invented that word because if it was about money only, Al Nassr should win all the time. But it is more about value you get for the money and this is proof that no matter whether they pay Ronaldo half a billion for two years or three billion, it doesn't make them any stronger on the pitch. If instead of Ronaldo they would pay three players 80 million per year, it would make them stronger. But they are not interested in winning titles, they are interested in building a name for themselves on the back of human beings like Ronaldo.

Yes but for me it raises the question whether players can be overpaid or not. If there is nothing to come afterwards in your life in terms of money, are you still playing your best? Whether we like it or not, but money is a motivating factor for most people for a long time and football players have the opportunities in these times to increase their salary if their belong to the best, but all of them also want to play in the best leagues, not necessarily in the highest paid leagues. If they want to achieve that, they have to stay in Europe.

Now the SPL comes around and offers a player 100 million or 200 million a year, I don't think that player will play with the same intensity as if the future well-being was still on the line. Maybe some will do and they do not depend on money with regards to their performance, but intrinsically it will have an effect that, in my opinion, will not make players to rise to the next level or keep the level they had during their prime in one of the best European leagues. It is the final paycheque for them.

https://dailypost.ng/2025/07/20/no-player-should-be-given-absolute-power-al-sheikh-slams-al-nassr-over-ronaldo/

Ronaldo is known from the early days of his career to have had some level of influence on his clubs and national team. He sometimes influences the players and coaches that the club management hires. This is also the case in Al Nassr. It is believed that he was behind the sacking of coach Stefano Pioli and the replacement with Jorge Jesus. He also used his reputation to influence the sacking of the club's CEO Majed Jamaan Al-Sorour and he also made sure the club replaced him with his close friend Jose Semedo.

Former Saudi Arabian Football Federation Spokesman, Mohammed Al-Sheikh, has frowned at this excess power given to the Portuguese captain. Al-Sheikh appreciates Ronaldo's positive contributions to the SPL but he thinks that his powers should have limits.
One rule of the world is very clear that the more experienced will be the more successful. I think the same reflection is in the case of Cristiano Ronaldo because he is the player who spent his life in this field and he knows the things and the solutions of the problems of how to fix things and which things can lead the club to the betterment.  And the main thing is he is the part of that club how he can bear if something is going wrong even in his own team. So adopting things is better than making them complicated and worse.  Those who are making objections i think they lill bit need to understand the things and then make decisions. Because of the lavish life the Cristiano Ronaldo is spending he has no greed for anything. His personality always reflects an honest and pure person inside who cannot think to destroy or damage anyone.

It is my belief that the outcome of these decisions should justify it all. I believe Ronaldo’s coming to the league has been the turning point of the SPL and him staying back clearly means he wants to continue the good job. I am sure he means well for Al Nassr.

SPL's got cash to buy the best players in the world they'll offer more money to players than any league can. They're trying to become a strong pro league. Some players go to SPL because of big salary's others play there because they want new experiences. Every thing changed after Cristiano signed for Al Nassr.

Money is a big motivation for a player and that is why, big players always move out n the direction why the money is, in fact now, footballers now use their purchasing Price to measure their Worth in the transfer market, because you can't compare a player that signed a contract for 80 millions pounds to Play like the one that got signed around 30 millions pounds, the players worth is sometimes in the price tag, and that is why you see most of them going for Saudi pro league club side story nce their are the bag holders for now and all things for the money.

The money they've offered Messi can convince him to leave Inter Miami for SPL but he doesn't want to play in a league which Cristiano Ronaldo's the main player. Messi's the main player in MLS & Cristiano's the main player in SPL he doesn't want it to change.
I don't think that that is the reason and money is not everything. Messi's priority is to settle in a good environment with his family. Which is a better option, the United States or Saudi Arabia for rich people? It's hard to answer this question because everyone has different priorities. I would live in the USA because it's very rich, you can go in any state you wish and Miami has also been my childhood favorite place (Do you remember good old GTA Vice City?). I think that Messi prefers Miami for himself and for his family. I remember that he said this in one of his interview soon after winning the World Cup.

It's true that money isn't everything, and Messi certainly prefers his family's interests and comfort in America because the culture in Saudi Arabia is very different from that in America. And of course, in America, Messi still has a lot of money, and if I'm not mistaken, when he retires, Messi will be given a stake of approximately 7 to 10%. So, if Messi were to leave Inter Miami, it would certainly mean that he wouldn't receive that stake in the future, or even after he retires from football.

The point is, it seems difficult to bring Messi back to competing with Ronaldo. Messi's lifestyle is certainly different from Ronaldo. Messi did a wise thing by choosing Inter Miami, and he certainly seems happy there.

However, we don't know what will happen in the future, and it's certainly not impossible for Messi to join the SPL. We'll just have to wait and see what happens, as negotiations are currently underway between Al Ahli and Messi's side. But, no matter what, it seems Messi will still choose Inter Miami.

Yes, currently, Ronaldo is not just an Al Nasr player, but also a brand ambassador for the Saudi Arabian League. After Ronaldo's arrival, not only has Al Nasr become increasingly well-known worldwide, but the Saudi Arabian League has also become more popular. Therefore, the Saudi Arabian League should not criticize Ronaldo for consistently providing input to his team, Al Nasr. In fact, I believe the Saudi Arabian League should thank Ronaldo for agreeing to play in the Saudi Arabian League and for raising the Saudi Arabian League's profile globally. Therefore, I believe it's only natural that Ronaldo is being treated quite favorably by Al Nasr, as he is indeed the most influential player in the team's and the Saudi Arabian League's progress.

By the way, I'm not sure why Duran was loaned to Fenerbahçe. Whether it was Ronaldo's suggestion or Al Nasr's own initiative. In my opinion, Duran is a pretty good player and a significant addition to Al Nasr's attack. So, in my opinion, his loan to Fenerbahce will weaken Al Nasr's attack a bit. Because, even though Ronaldo is still in the forward position, with his age, I think he needs a second-string player who can always be there to replace him or support him in the attack. So, I think if Al Nasr wants a more stable front line, I think they should look for someone else who is a great striker to be Ronaldo's backup.

Lionel Messi has already earned a lot of money in his player career and even it's wrong to say he does not need more money but I believe that earning more money is not too important with him. What he cares more is his family future and growth chances for his children, so surely the USA is a better choice than the Saudi Arabia.

I believe that it is his main reason to refuse offers from Saudi Arabia, not only in 2025 but in latest years since World Cup 2022. It's less likely that he will change his mind and accept any offer from Saudi Arabian clubs in this summer and future. He will stay in the USA and MLS until his retirement that I think might be announced after World Cup 2026.

There is no scenario where Messi goes to Saudi league, it has been debunked many times, and it is not going to happen. Messi is happy where he is, not just about football or anything, but Miami life suits him well and he is doing a great job there.

Plus, he is winning and scoring and getting insane results, dude became the youngest player to score as many goals as he did. I am sure he will be youngest to reach 900 goals too. So he gets money, he gets better life, he gets results, why would he really want to leave? And remember, he isn't getting paid just salary, he is getting paid shares of the revenue himself, that alone is proof enough that he is getting paid enough. So there is no possible way he will ever leave.

In my opinion, the Saudi Arabian League has made a significant breakthrough, and this is certainly something the Saudi Arabian League deserves to achieve. With the large sums of money involved, it has the potential to become even more well-known. Competition between the Saudi Arabian League and top European leagues and others is certainly ongoing, and many leagues should be wary of this, as it's not impossible that many top players will gather in the Saudi Arabian League in the future, making the competition between the Saudi League and other leagues even more exciting.

However, if Ronaldo hadn't joined the SPL, I'm sure the SPL wouldn't be as well-known as it is today. Honestly, I'm personally worried if Ronaldo were to leave Al Nassr someday, as I believe the SPL could become less well-known than it once was. However, I hope the SPL can advance like European and American clubs someday. I also hope that even if Ronaldo were to leave the SPL, the Saudi Arabian League would still be as well-known. However, in the near future, it seems that the SPL will find it difficult to compete with the world's top leagues, including the English Premier League and La Liga.

https://dailypost.ng/2025/07/20/no-player-should-be-given-absolute-power-al-sheikh-slams-al-nassr-over-ronaldo/

It is my belief that the outcome of these decisions should justify it all. I believe Ronaldo’s coming to the league has been the turning point of the SPL and him staying back clearly means he wants to continue the good job. I am sure he means well for Al Nassr.

Mohammed Al-Sheikh in his statements sounds like Ronaldo is the one controlling the team but I hope he understands what the coming of Ronaldo to the league has done for the league and he can't accept another offer if he wasn't comfortable with the team, the fans and the environment he should be allowed to continue his good works at Al Nassr and if they know what he is not doing right they should address it and not call him out.

I believe that teams in the Saudi Arabian League will likely still struggle to sign Messi, even with substantial contract offers. As we know, Messi was offered a substantial contract by a Saudi Arabian League team in the previous transfer window, but he turned it down. So, given this, I don't think Messi is uninterested in the large sums of money offered by Saudi Arabian League teams. However, Messi likely chose not to join those Saudi Arabian teams because his family wouldn't allow it. As we know, the lifestyle in Saudi Arabia is very different from that in Europe or America. Therefore, if Messi played in the Saudi Arabian League, his family and perhaps himself would have difficulty adapting. Therefore, I believe it will still be difficult for teams in the Saudi League to sign Messi, even if the contract offers are very large.
There are kind of offers than a human cannot just reject. If they can offer such contract I think they will be able to get him because money is what we are all looking for in this life to take care of our family. The Saudi league is a good league too very competitive and offers more money than any other league a d they try to imitate the lifestyle of other leagues for their players so they don't complain about it so I don't think adapting to it will be difficult for Messi and his family.

The Arabians are good and loving people you can see that from how Ronaldo is being treated.
Yes, I agree that money is something we seek and need in this world. Messi certainly needs it too. But remember, not everything has to be about money, especially when it comes to comfort and the environment. Messi, in particular, is already incredibly wealthy, and his family is well-off. So, given this, I think it's understandable that Messi would refuse to play in the Saudi Arabian league because his family wouldn't allow it. Because, when it comes to comfort, money can't solve everything. So, given this, Messi likely wouldn't want to play in the Saudi Arabian league.

While it's true that Saudi Arabian people are very friendly and caring, especially towards star players like Messi, the problem could be that Messi would be respected there if he played in the Saudi Arabian league. But what about his wife and children? Are they guaranteed to be treated the same way as Messi? So, I'm not overreacting, but I'm simply speaking based on my observations. Furthermore, Inter Miami is reportedly currently working on extending Messi's contract. So, with that in mind, I think Messi's chances of joining Al Ahli will certainly diminish.

The money they've offered Messi can convince him to leave Inter Miami for SPL but he doesn't want to play in a league which Cristiano Ronaldo's the main player. Messi's the main player in MLS & Cristiano's the main player in SPL he doesn't want it to change.

Maybe personality class could be by Lionel Messi has decided to remain in the Major League Soccer. But I don't see that as a genuine reason. If Messi wants to move to the SPL because of money, he would have accepted the lucrative deal, and both players should have continued their rivalry. But I guess other factors like the culture of Saudi Arabia and his family might have affected his decision. Some people might not be able to cope in an environment that is religious thereby leading to less freedom. Maybe he might change his mind in the future since the door of the Saudi League will still be open for two to four years.

Al Nassr looks emptied out a bit, they really need to get some other star players to help out Ronaldo. Looking at them right now, he is feeling a bit alone, Mane didn't provide the help they thought he would, they need someone better. Plus, they still have a goalkeeper issue, have you seen the guy play? He was horrible, and as far as I know, this summer, they didn't get a new one, right? If they decide to play with him again, they are going to lose again, he concedes such simple goals, even Onana looks better than him.

Anyways I guess, this season, Al Nassr won't even be third place, they are going to battle for 4th or 5th, because other teams are doing a much better job. I see that they pay a ton to Ronaldo, so they don't have much left, but they need to do better.

If he doesn't accept the contract with Al Ahli he won't be offered a mega contract again because he's 38 he'll retire soon. If he wants money he'll go to SPL. If his contract with Inter Miami's over in Dec will he go to Argentina or Spain to finish his pro career ?
No, he won't go to Argentina or Spain to finish his career. He wanted that in the beginning of his career but I guess, he doesn't want that now and I also think he won't live in Argentina, it's not a very good country after all compared to Spain and the USA. The reason why he doesn't want to live in Spain is because he wants to enjoy a more peaceful life. Football isn't as popular in the USA as it is in Europe and they even call it a soccer and football is a different sport there. Messi moved in Miami because he will enjoy a peaceful life there and Miami is full of Spanish speaking people, there are lots of Latinos there, it's also similar to Spain in some terms, it's warm, there are beaches, I bet he feels like at home. He has said that his family adapted well.

That's true because if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Al Nassr, it won't just affect the team but the entire Saudi Pro League. the league has been around for a long time, but it wasn't well recognized until Ronaldo joined. His presence has brought attention from fans and attracted more talented players from European leagues. I'm impressed on how Saudi professional league teams are trying to make the league more competitive by signing young talented players from top European teams. Right now, it might be hard to convince these players players to join the Saudi Pro League, even with big offers, because playing in the European teams is a bigger achievement. But in the future, these players might be more willing to join the Saudi Pro League.
