Al nassr could have extended their gap last night but where unlucky to do so. 5 points lead against Al Hilal is risky because they have one game at hand. If they win it the gap will be reduced to 2 points. Funny thing is that they will still face Al nassr. The title race will be determined in that match. This will surely put fear on Al nassr players and give Al Hilal motivation and hope that they can still win the league. Al nassr can surely win the league if they put more seriousness in their remaining games and also hope that Al Hilal makes someone else mistakes along the way. Maybe they should pray Hilal to draw and lose of their remaining games. Then they can lift the title.

Al-Nassr game against Al-Qadsiah was not an easy one since that team rarely lose in fact and the top 4 teams are prestigious and can be contenders for the title as well as Al-Ittihad in some seasons. This prove that Saudi Pro League is far from being called farmers league
Anyway, Al-Nassr should return to the winning strike otherwise Al-Hilal will catch them, the points gap is gonna be reduced further especially that the latter team is still missing another game so a potential 2 points gap in worst scenarios for Al-Nassr.. In everything, I wouldn't want to see Al Nassr bottle this league because they've come this far and losing is definitely not the call of the players. Al Nassr have excellent players, we're talking about world class attackers but it's been really a challenging thing for them. You can explain how a team like Al Nassr go 20 games unbeaten, although it's a normal thing for elite team to lose a game and Al Nassr happen to drop points when it matter the most. Regardless, they're still rank first on the SPL table.

The point is,, if Al Hilal can beat Al Khalej,, the points difference between Al Hilal and Al Nasr will definitely be only two points. So it's clearly quite close,, and so the match between Al Nasr and Al Hilal will be the one that determines whether Al Nasr will be the champion or not. Because if Al Nasr loses in the match against Al Hilal, Al Hilal will definitely be at the top of the standings. Meanwhile,, if the opposite is true, Al Nasr will have a point advantage and will definitely be able to become champions in the Saudi Arabian League.

Is not yet after this lost of Al Nassr because they have  match they can use against the most competing club against them, we haven't no if Al Hilal wining on Al Khaleej today will materialize and if they doesn't win is still more advantage to AI Nassr, although they shouldn't have loss this point because the next two match wining could have been the trophy they have won but now they would need to win all the Saudi professional league three match before they can have the trophy. It would be a real shame if Al-Nassr doesn’t succeed this season. after all, they just need to win their remaining three matches. Al Nassr have tried so much just to lift the Saudi Pro League title in the last few seasons and I don't think they've ever been this close to winning in the last three years. I don't expect then to win all the games but knowing fully well that they're just 6 points better than second placed Al Hilal I expected them to get at least a draw in the game. With this result, Al Hilal will reduce their points difference behind the league leaders to three points if they win their outstanding league game and that I think will shift the pressure to Al Nassr.

Al Nassr have lost their thirty-first match and we can see that they are showing signs of losing their rhythm as the SPL season comes to a close. At the moment we can see that Al Nassr have three matches in hand in the SPL and they are five steps ahead of Al Hilal in terms of points, so it's also true that the equation is getting harder for this team. The team suffered a humiliating 3-1 defeat against Al Qadsiah but note that they will face Al Hilal in one of their three remaining matches, so we can hope that they can definitely win the next two matches at the crucial stage of the SPL.

With only three matches left, Al Nassr still has a chance to win the SPL trophy this season but I noticed that they lost three matches in a row in the middle of the 2025-26 season and they have also lost one match recently, so it is suspected that they may have lost their rhythm as before. Maybe I am a bit premature and maybe I will be wrong, but after this loss, I will say that Al Nassr has lost the title. I know that is too early to say, they are still the leaders and they are still at the top, so saying this right now is a bit too early I get that. But that is not something that would make sense to me right now, I feel like this is going to be something that would not be that easy to handle and we should not be considering this as something that will not be easy at all.

We should consider how Al Hilal is a great team and they are going to probably win that game and Al Nassr will fail to be the champions because of this. It is not guaranteed of course, I am just making a prediction about it, I could be right, which I think I will be, or I could be wrong too.
