I would say that this coach brought back the Al Nassir we have their records before the arrival of Christiano Ronaldo. It was never easy, but it reigned goals at last. Al Hilal already went up the top when Al Nassir was still goalless. Ronaldo got a brace to seal this victory with a thunderous finish to give them the 4-1 lead. Damac had a different plan today which was to get a draw, you can see that in their formation of 5-4-1, fully defensive. But it ended in favour of Al Nassir. Honestly it a well deserved one for Al Nassr, well as for today it was never in doubt for them to beat Al Damac. The second half was a dominating one for them, Coman scored the second goal then Al Nassr conceded a penalty but it didn’t take them long as Ronaldo scored a stunning free kick before he scored the second and it was very certain that they will be winning the league.

Jorge Jesus is not here anymore. Contract's up June 30th. He has his eye on the Portugal gig following the World Cup. Everyone in Saudi media has been reporting it for weeks now. He won the league. But who will be coaching this team this coming season?

Well, the team is weird. They have four world-class attackers and one real midfielder in Brozovic, who was 33 and was unable to play tonight as a result of a groin injury.

Al Hilal went the ENTIRE year unbeaten. No losses in 34 games. Then they still came in second place. When does that ever happen?? They were killed by nine draws. They were careful and played too many games they ought to have won. In the meantime, Al Nassr suffered four defeats and won 28 games. Sometimes being reckless pays off I guess.

By the way, Ronaldo has signed until 2027. He's on 973 career goals now. The 1000 milestone will take place in Saudi Arabia, likely in January, if he remains healthy. It's going to be big.
