If the motorbike you are selling is unused and just lying around without any maintenance, then selling the motorbike with the aim of selling the proceeds to invest is not wrong because by investing you can benefit from owning a motorbike but only ignore it and never use it.
This choice is a wise choice where you can use unused items to make them your future savings.

I haven't seen any information before that someone sold his assets to buy bitcoins. But I saw a friend of mine took a loan from the bank a few years ago to buy bitcoins. Keep buying.  A few months later the price increased several times. That's when he sold the bitcoins and paid off his bank loan. He did a lot with the money he had today.
