Congratulations 5tift but Rbah you really should have made posts announcing that you were choosing a winner instead of editing your post so that there was a timestamp of the winning announcement.

The winning block #773,386 occurred 4 hours and 8 minutes ago. That is a mere 2.5 hours after xLays made his post and less than 2 hours after I had made mine, that suggested to you how to choose the winner.

I think it is unlikely that the winner was chosen unfairly. It is just a shame that you made no posts announcing which block was being used to determine the winner prior to doing so and that the result that is still potentially open to even the slightest amount of doubt when it did not have to be.

In essence, OP did not follow his own rule -- rolling by himself or having a trustworthy user doing it.

OP make sure you take the right decision in this case. You must make an official rolling or pick someone trustworthy to do it, and not nominate as winner the one being given as example a Ponzi promoter and, pardon me, "an asshole".

Needless to say, the feedbacks received by xLays were given by users with high reputation on the forum.

The method was followed, Rbah just decided to do it by editing the OP instead of making posts. The reason I initially thought that it was unlikely to be rigged was because of this and that the winner chosen didn't seem like an obvious winner to be chosen if it was unfair (from face value, as they are a hero member).

The way that he conducted it would have been fine if he had did the same thing but made posts announcing the block being used and the compiled list in a post instead of editing the original post. It's plenty possible that he just made a mistake. Like I've said since my first post though, the shameful thing is that it is all open for doubt. The more we discuss it the more I think it is likely that the result was rigged but there is not enough evidence to know for sure.

The fairest thing for you to do Rbah (if you are reading) is to pick a block number that is well and truly in advance (maybe 12 - 24 hours or so) and post this this information instead of editing your original post. Then we can all wait for the block and know the winner based on this information that was announced prior.

There is no need to trust me. What mattered was OP to be trustworthy or to elect a trustworthy member to run the rolling, instead of following the words of a Ponzi promoter.

This sentence hows how few you are able to understand with that peanut brain. Nobody can do what he wants, even if it's his own giveaway. Everybody has to respect the rules of the giveaway and first one to respect the rules is OP himself! And this applies to any giveaway, not only to this one.

Your words shows that you also don't understand that you placed OP in a very delicate situation now, which may also end by having the account tagged with negative feedback. And, the more he remains offline, the higher are chances for this to happen. Under no circumstances the organizer of a giveaway can break the rules. And, in our case, absolutely no rule was respected:

(1) he did not make any rolling; (2) no trustworthy user made any rolling; (3) there was actually no rolling at all, as what that Ponzi promoter said was just an example of how a rolling works.

Furthermore, OP did not even pay the prize to the fake winner so there is one more reason for being tagged soon.
