Never have I heard that it will be mandatory for old people to use Bitcoin. Besides, Bitcoin doesn't need to exist alone neither would I consider it win if Bitcoin displaces our local fiat. Bitcoin should be able to coexist with the fiat and people should have the option to  choose which to use and when to use it. By people I mean old people.Whenever this happens, there would be ease for them to have and save their Bitcoin. There would be more Bitcoin machines and a whole lot of other interesting innovative technology to help old people navigate how to use Bitcoin. It shouldn't be a thing that should perturb anyone at the moment.

I also agree with you that there is no class or age restriction for using or holding Bitcoin. But there is one thing to talk about the obligation of age, which we are bound to accept. There are times when people want to learn something new, but due to their limitations, they cannot master it completely. In this case, if bitcoins are handed over to such elderly people for use, it may cause them financial loss.

If some old people really likes to get involved and invest in bitcoin, it depends to the person explaining them the terms and things about it like wallets, and all of those other important stuff.

So if it's made fun and interesting to learned upon, the age won't matter as it's being studied and that's why they are studying about it because they're keen to learn more about it and willingly to invest their money that might be from their pensions.

I doubt that you can name several reasons for old people to start using bitcoin. Everyone understands that investing in cryptocurrency is associated with high risks, so why should an elderly person risk if his well-being is at stake. Why do you assume many old people don't follow technology? Old people in villages may not care about following technology, but old people in the city must follow it because it is necessary for them. It may be related to their jobs or their needs in daily life. So, we can't simply conclude "not many old people follow technology", it should be based on the research.

Sure, everyone can learn and join crypto or Bitcoin, whether old people or young people. There is no restriction on the ages.
