Hooray South Africa. Not so hooray for Shelton. Both WTA top seeds crashing out is no surprise (even if I didn't even recognise their opponents in the semis at all) and Zheng came dangerously close to rally like she did in QF but all's well that ends well. It was a tough round, credit to you/Cro2 for the questions and I wish I had more points but if you told me I'd be in this position today, with only 3 questions to go including the H2H (because of cryptofrka I still need to do well here and yeah, Spain is down to a wundergoal), and with 2 LMS points, level with you, I'd probably take it. It wouldn't have been a good round if it didn't end with almost the final kick -- I'm staying up to watch this one, man! Good game indeed.

Zverev won the first set against Shelton, and failed to capitalize on a couple of match points, I hope he gets this done and not fumble it, my round might be hanging delicately on the result here, although I'm still trailing by a point after the South Africa championship win, there are still 4 question differences to settle.

There was a moment in the tiebreak, when he was leading 6-3 and somehow Shelton found Zverev out to even go 7-6... when I thought maybe I could pull this off. The American just never really found a way to return though... can't keep counting on fumbles (like he did in the QF) to win tourneys.

Spain U21 team is probably going to be the end of me, If they had secured that 2 goal cushion against Slovakia, I would have won that H2H question, but they didn't, 2nd chance salon for them today, and they're already trailing against too, meanwhile I also have a well running ticket which I had them to win, I wouldn't be feeling uneasy if they scores is still tied, but being down 1-0 and needing them to win, and possibly cover -1.5 handicap isn't a good feeling for me.

Ahhh come on Spain wake up and score, they started pretty bad in this first half against Romania, at the 4 minute they already lose 1-0 and miss a penalty after that.

Trying to be cheeky to get atleast 1 point from either one of these huh, too bad it backfired. I was so close on losing this round because Keys lost first before Zheng started her game and Im glad that Zheng ended up following the same path

I cheer for Edmonton though, a Canadian team hasn't won the Stanley Cup in ages.

Just so you know - 3 out of 4 games went to overtime in this series so far. Home advantage now switches to the Oilers.

If I had known this, I would have picked Edmonton! Just love the idea of an upstart breaking up the hegemony. I smelled a lot of goals in this one. Just didn't see the draw and OT win like this. Don't think many did either huh, judging from the few slivers of green I see on that.

I was literally celebrating the Keys' defeat but Zheng ain't better lol. It was a pain when cryptofrka did crazy comeback in the end of round last week and hopefully the same thing won't happen again

Q2 was ages ago, 2 years in BSFL lifespan. I don't even remember what last week's question was haha. I'm an old man, no time for your trickery (of course appreciate it, but for purposes of answering, I try not to get swayed).

U21 comeback win was pointless for me, Italy early goal gives me some hope. Slovakia making themselves a nuisance though, so this is by no means done and dusted...

WTA? All NO for me was instinctive. I was tempted to go one yes for the men's but it would likely have been Medvedev... it's just a numbers game for me unless it's a GS where I try to get a better sense of form and desire to win. It's all random anyway, isn't it?

After getting the first question right I have not been able to get another point on the board, really disappointing. My opponent is now ahead now by a point and we are tied on question 6. I need  Italy to not cover the handicap to draw me back even and then it is down to the Bayern game to determine the round.

Same here. Another round loss for our team after Italy barely won against Slovakia, and slaman29 is just rolling us over in this second half.

I'm also in trouble of getting eliminated in the LMS if I miss these last two questions, but I hope we can sneak our way out and get them both.

Edit: Scratch that, I just realized I had no for Italy after the spreadsheet got updated, and there might be a way back for us.

If my calculations are correct, I think I might have secured the win. I have 2-1 at the moment, u21 h2h question still hasn't been rated but I won that one thanks to England's win (meaning I lead 3-1) and 2nd h2h question I think I think its a draw so with only 1 different answer left LTU_btc can't catch me anymore.

Yeah, seems that your calculations is correct. Congrats with a win! Another very disappointing my performance. Still without a win this season. Club board isn't happy about results. Before season I had ambitions to return to Division 1, but for now it looks that I will have to fight to avoid relegation to Division 3 :/

It was a great round and my team extended the winning streak by another win and makes it a perfect 4/4 record. I missed to get promoted last season, but now it's looking promising so far.  But it's still 14 rounds to go.
