From next season LMS format will be added to BSFL to encourage Division 3 players to stay with us - with that and the Cup there will be plenty of rewards to be won even if you're a lower Division team.

Even the Sheriff is not immune to the smell of new money. There's nothing better to fill his pool with.

That sounds like a very nice addition and will surely keep following BSFL from the outside.
And I personally like the idea from the Sheriff regarding entry fee for Division 3 and hope that it can maybe implemented in the near future.

Dov 3 was always envisioned as development division where people can try out the real thing with a bit less investment. If we had more players we could form up Div 4 and make Div 3 more serious one.

Nothing stopping any of you organising side bets. If you find 10 people in Div3 willing to pay some amount. Let's say 1 mBTC we can just put them in one division and have separate pool of rewards distributed in any fashion those people want.

It's going to be a tough one for sure because when we had the fee entry for Div2 discussion, almost 98% were ready to pay, we didn't have any strong opposition, and it was way too easy because the sign up fees were deducted from our prize except for those who were relegated to Div2 from Div1 and paid from their own wallet. Most of the current div3 participants do not even exist on the forum; they appear on Sunday or Monday, write answers, and then disappear until the next match day.

So I noticed that the wimbledon schedule is abit off due to the rain yesterday and some of the games Im hoping would give me benefit should have played on Sunday so at this rate Im not sure if they would still stick onto their schedule

oh well it is what it is if I lose this round but currently I Need Dimitrov and either Keys / Samsonova to lose and Its quite possible that it would be on 1/8 finals if they actually stick with the schedule

It is just so incredibly close. For instance if I lose and 5 guys behind me win, I am faling from fifth to tenth in one round.

You can lose only if leea-1334 performs a small miracle and win both tennis questions, all other answers are same as yours and you have one point advantage now.
All I want is to have 24 points and one of the top places in the end of season, and after that maybe I will retire like Sheriff did, after receiving offer from Abu Dubai Emirates.

Division 2 is boring too it feels like I was playing with only 3 humans and 13 robots , no side bets, no banter,.I can't imagine what you're suffering with those farmers down there..... We could create a master league with 5-10 bottlers willing to donate 1.5mbtc and split the pool prize between 1-2 places (1st 10mbtc, 2nd 5mbtc), with no relegation, promotion, cup break, pussies, or random sports questions (just football, tennis, and basketball questions). This could be the motivation I need to stick around for the next season.

@goodpunt is ready to spend some coins, that makes us 3 teams already with 7 slots left. Trofo already suggested similar solution to cure our nightmares.

I see I understand. But I think you should not see it as a pressure. Just submit early every Sunday evening, there are lots of reminders and anyway penalties if you really forget. That is the motivation to not forget

But no pressure, come back again if you feel good ok? I really like to have a lot of faces, it's something special about online friends you're competing against.

A lot of people came up from the bottom, and one or two even go all the way to the bottom lol so it's all good

It was of course just wishful thinking.
I understand that it can't be implemented officially just thought that it could solve some Division 3 problems.
The most frustrating part in my division for me was that there were way too many users who suddenly disappear without any real reason and of course the huge amount of late submissions and no shows but it is what it is.

@Igebotz yes I am absolutely for it and would pay but will be really difficult to find seven additional teams.

It was quite expected. Other than those 10 minutes in second half when we had few chances rest of the match was total bore fest. Had under 2.5 goals on a ticket, never was more sure of winning it. Indeed slow and boring. France took some great penalties in the end though. So safely done.

But by the way the last minute goal by Spain was impressive. It looked easy, but that header was a beast and perfectly put into the corner. Crazy how he jumped into the air, spread his legs and put all that force in that header while being perfectly on target.

Spain is pretty much the favorite for now although I expect another close game when they play against France.
