I knew doubting Dortmund was the right call, but we still made a mistake in the total number of goals.

after yesterday's draw between frankfurt and dortmund, the score between Note3 and me remains 1-0 in my favor
it's very unusual that after six answers, we've only scored one point between us so far...
if ivory coast knocks egypt out of the tournament today, i can score another point with question #8 and take a very important step towards another 3 points

And now it's 0/5 after half the results are over, and we're both bad.
A lot of bad results make everything look bad.

Yeah I am already preparing LMS buyback  I think this is first time in history that everyone could be eliminated from LMS  Ok, lucky bastard Slissy looks to probably have done enough but we will see.

In our duel 0/6 really looks bad. We are doing Arsenal-Liverpool reenactment. If there wasn't H2H questions maybe we would have managed. I like my chances on AFCON question, should be my point unless Nigeria plays really high scoring game. Unfortunately seems like I went the wrong way with skiing so if it plays out like that, Arsenal will decide who wins our duel 2:1

@Jinetics1111 there you go, your first point in the H2H question as Nottingham Forest played a horrible game! I watched the highlights and Wrexham did their best, but Nottingham was just bad.

Now what's going in my favour is that you need 8 goals in the remaining AFCON matches. That's highly unlikely. I am going to hedge this, was thinking about reaching out to @cryptofrka - the boss of hedging - how to do it best. But I think I found a decent solution.



If it is exactly three goals in this game, I don't think there will be five in the last game and that would be an easy hedge too because the odds for over 4.5 for Egypt - Ivory Coast are 11.00. If it goes over three in this game, ok then my hedge is still effective and depending on how many goals are scored, I could still go with an additional combo including Barcelona.

@Jinetics1111 you said if you didn't get one thing wrong this season, it was that you knew when to say GG. I hope you are right!

For whatever reason the whole day yesterday I thought it was Friday, up until last night when my wife warned me that tomorow is not the weekend. It was quite disapointing tbh, to realize that there is 1 more working day. 

I have a boss who keeps making the same mistake, they ask me a lot to work on weekends always to cover someone or some event.

Then payslip always shows they mark me as 'normal' day, then I remind them I am owed weekend pay.

Boss needs a wife, but also he needs to stop hoping I will forget to check my payslip

I have to admit that I don't like my pick for the Everton–Sunderland game, and that's the one that will decide the winner of the H2H question. What else is there to do other than try to push my luck once again and hopefully lose more money? If that doesn't work, I can always throw even more money on the Algeria–Nigeria game to try to get at least a draw from this match.

I want 3 points obviously to try to stay up as possible but regarding Everton and Sunderland, you cannot say what will happen. Arsenal can drop points to Liverpool who drops points to Leeds who beat West Ham who lose to Wolverhampton

Hahah, what a crazy round. With 7 questions behind us, nobody is still safe in LMS. 2 out of the last 3 questions are H2H, meaning this will truly be a massacre.
Average points is less than 2, it was actually just a little bit over 1 before Odermatt won in Adelboden.

To be honest, the number of Yes answers here was quite surprising. I thought he'd win but the odds were actually quite high - 2.35 or something like that so No should have been the preferred answer.
I think most went with Yes because the odds weren't available yet. This was my mini-trap that didn't quite work well, but at least it caught Trofo and Slissy.

My suspicions proved to be correct, Everton failed to win and now you are in the lead. I still have a chance for a draw though, but for that Nigeria has to beat Algeria.

I finally got my first answer right and it is ironically on the ski question which I know pretty much nothing about. I was right that Dortmund will not win but wrong to pick under 3.5 goals. My thinking was Dortmund will come out on top if it was high scoring.

The AFCON question is going my way with Morocco going through and it has been low scoring with the matches already played. I cannot see 9 goals coming from the remaining 2 games.

Yeah I'm so ecstatic But yeah I thought that Wrexham will try to and did play good against Forest, since Forest is so close to relegation EPL anyway.

This is looking really good for me. Newcastle failed to win in regular time so thats another point that goes my way and only 1 more to go right now. Nigeria is also looking pretty sharp with 2 goals lead and 15 minutes to go so atleast I have secured the draw but if Nigeria win then I win the round

I have a feeling a lot of us will eventually be saved by Barcelona in LMS. 7/11 got all AFCON questions correct - fair play to us all considering that Egypt was an outsider in their QF matchup.

We will proceed with the Cup next week. There are 32 teams left, we'll have 2 short rounds again, meaning that only 8 players will remain after next week's games.
Questions will be posted tomorrow in the evening, before Round 10 results - because the Real - Barcelona game is quite late.

My team has pulled level finally after going level early in the round. I was beginning to think at some point that the Egypt game could produce more goals and put my point at risk. That was a cracker of a match, all the other games were good but this one was very open and end to end.

I could just check the table now and my opponent had exact same picks in the FA Cup H2H questions. I do not think this has happened with me before when we did not go with all 'yes' or 'no'. We also both went with Barcelona to win, so this should finish as a draw.
