Ok, so tonight I have a penalty shootout drama with my opponent.

Since I'm new to this competition and this is my first experience of it, can someone explain to me how penalties work?
All 8 answers are looked at and the one with the most correct answers wins?
What if the score is tied after the 7th question and the last question, the minute of the first goal scored, is the deciding question?
How is the winner determined? The one whose prediction is closer to the minute the goal was actually scored wins?
What if there are no goals in the match?
Anyway, I hope my team has better luck in penalties than my opponent.
slackovic explained it pretty well, but it's explained in full detail in the rules.
As announced, we’ll be starting with the cup competition next week.
It will be a single game h2h duel, the winner will progress to the next round.
In each cup week we will have 2 cup rounds, each round consisting of 5 questions and a tie-breaker question.
You will receive questions in advance for both weekly rounds of the Cup and if you lose in the 1st, the answers you gave for the 2nd won’t even be looked at.
If the result is a draw after the first 5 questions, the tie-breaker comes into play. It will consist of 8 bets on the same game and will be like regular penalties. Only the first 5 choices will be looked at, and if it is still a tie after these 5, one per one bet will be checked until the winner is found.
If there is no winner even after 8 penalties, the player that submitted earlier will be the winner.
The 1st cup round will usually last from Tuesday till Friday and the 2nd one from Friday till Sunday.
In case some teams need to be free in the 1st round of the Cup, it will always be those teams best placed on the current tables, starting from Division 1.
There will be no seeded players at any point, meaning that a 1st Div player can draw a 1st Div player in any of the future rounds.
During the Cup no weekly freebets will be given.
Also - regarding the minute of the goal - it was explained in the question (and visible in the spreadsheet):
Penalties: Newcastle is hoping that the season ends as fast as possible and their next game is West Ham at home. West Ham is in a tough relegation fight and will surely look for a win here. Please answer the following questions about the game:
Newcastle to win (Yes/No), Newcastle to score in the 1st half (Yes/No), over 2,5 goals in the game (Yes/No), Bowen to score (Yes/No), over 9,5 total corners (Yes/No), over 3,5 yellow cards in the game - onfield players only (Yes/no), West Ham to lead in any point of the game (Yes/No), minute of the first goal (if 0-0, closer to 90’ wins). Please use the following format: Yes, No, Yes, No, No, Yes, Yes, 29’.
Considering that Newcastle scored in the 1st half, you need them not to win the game to survive the first 5 penalties. Basically - you're in a really tough spot
