I expected Alcaraz to lose, and predict Medvedev to win the title to make my points equal to my opponent this week, and finally, Alcaraz loses to Sinner in semis so the final will be between Sinner and Medvedev, but seeing how Sinner beats Alcaraz it is quite doubtful that Medvedev will be able to beat him later and become the champion, and if Sinner becomes the champion only two players answer Sinner to be the champion, the rest predict Medvedev or Alcaraz who will champion.

Anyway, I totally back CRO2 on their basketball ranking, it is the most sensible thing to do because on a points tie, you always pick the one who scores most points in lesser minutes. In football they sort of do this also (goals per 90 minutes, which is how you see who is most likely to score).

First 15 minutes of the Manchester city vs Liverpool looked decent  enough to suggest City would win this fixture,  but unfortunately they are a goal down thanks to a Mohammed  Salah goal which looked looked rather offside to be honest and am surprised VAR cleared it,a and with that goal there goes my "Liverpool  not to score".

Did you watch that match? It was middle of the night for me so I did not watch it live but I have seen few snippets today and it was incredible tennis. These 2 are really on top of the game right now and I am thinking Sinner takes this final. He has terrible H2H with Medvedev, played 5 times and lost all 5 so it is about time to win first match.

You are right,we have different answers, but you are currently ahead of me by one goal, and we are waiting for the rest of the competition results. I did not expect my favorite club Liverpool, who are going through a real crisis this season, to score against Manchester City. But now I'm thinking why I changed my mind while giving my answers, as I didn't choose both teams to score, even though my prediction in the EPL pool was 3-2. So, I think if I continue like this, my trajectory will be towards section 3.

I wasn't expecting to win on this week absolutely. We played a quite competitive match with casperBGD as the most of our answers were the same. After not being able to win in the league in the first 3 matches, we have got a series of 4 matches after this win. We are going to the cup break by being quite in-form. As Perez is starting the race in last position tomorrow it looks difficult for him to be on podium.

I did watch the 1st half also abit on 2nd half just to make sure that there will be over 3.5 goals on this game. The moment 1st half ended, Im pretty sure that they will score atleast 2 more goals on the 2nd half because Dortmund was so bad but turned out it was 4-2 in the end

As announced, we’ll be starting with the cup competition next week.

It will be a single game h2h duel, the winner will progress to the next round.

In each cup week we will have 2 cup rounds, each round consisting of 5 questions and a tie-breaker question.
You will receive questions in advance for both weekly rounds of the Cup and if you lose in the 1st, the answers you gave for the 2nd won’t even be looked at.

If the result is a draw after the first 5 questions, the tie-breaker comes into play. It will consist of 8 bets on the same game and will be like regular penalties. Only the first 5 choices will be looked at, and if it is still a tie after these 5, one per one bet will be checked until the winner is found.
We will check whether the paired players have the same answers for the last tiebreaker question. If they do, they will be asked an additional question before that game begins to avoid the possibility of a draw even after 8 questions.

The 1st cup round will last from Tuesday till Wednesday and the 2nd one from Friday till Sunday.
All Division 1 and Division 2 players (24 players) will be free in the 1st round of the Cup, and 3rd Division players and those that aren’t yet in Divisions (16 players) will play for the remaining 8 spots.
On Thursday we will know who the 1st round winners are and we’ll make the draw for the 2nd round (32 players).
There will be no more seeded players at any point, meaning that a 1st Div player can draw a 1st Div player in any of the future rounds.

The questions and the draw will be submitted today afternoon.

During the Cup no weekly freebets will be given, those will be collected and added to the cup reward pool.
The rewards are 5mbtc, 180$ in freebets and 3 Arsenal/Southampton kits.

The reward distribution is as follows:
1st – 4 mBTC and a kit
2nd – 1 mBTC, 30$ freebet and a kit
3rd – 40$ freebet and a kit
4th – 30$ freebet
5-8th – 20$ freebet

But what a Sunday afternoon woke up so late today I just skipped breakfast and lunch and will wait a few more hours to eat dinner instead, while watching football, so lazy, and then coming in to BSFL thread and seeing the amazing cup competition.

Yeah, cryptofrka posted his rules before I made the draw. When I started with the draw I realized that it will be much more confusing with numbers unless I rename Round 1 to qualifying round.
So first round in his post is actually qualifying round.

If you are unsure about something just ask. We have everything worked out in our heads but it is sometimes difficult to convey it properly to cover all basis and not over complicate things.
