Im not really a fan of Pochettino and I personally think his strategy is terrible back then when he was coaching Spurs but USA has been pretty good so far. Turkey is gonna be an easy matchup for them

Another GW with yet another loss. Tried to do things a little differently in this week and it ultimately backfired. The World Cup remains widely unpredictable still and can’t say I’m getting any confident about how I’ve handled the season, certainly not one of my best but, just have to keep up somehow, South Korea loosing to Mexico was so uncalled for, the host nations have being real good at their fixtures so far.

Still have the Turkiye game against Paraguay but I'm not sure how I feel about it a draw would help me but both teams are gonna be looking to score a lot and my opponent has btts NO that could help but I would need Paraguay to win or draw which does seem possible but with how today's been going not sure what to think.

Even though I was certain to win because my opponent was disqualified, looking at the results up to the 8th match, I felt bad because I only got two questions correct.

Turkey losing 1-0 to Paraguay came as a releif after I lost a point in the USA - Australia game. Now I'm back in the lead with two H2H questions remaining. I still don't know how did Turkey manage to lose a game after Paraguay player got sent off at the end of the first half, but it might have got me a win in this round. We will see how the H2H questions go, but I like my chances very much.

No kidding, how could the Turks commit these stupid pushing fouls, giving reason to Paraguay to dive all the time and lie around on the floor? I have rarely seen a team commit so many stupid fouls when they so urgently need a goal. It made no sense to me. The number of offensive fouls committed by the attacking team whose World Cup is on the line, I think this must have been unprecedented. The most simple, stupid fouls you can give to a team that is one man down.

By the way guys, I just saw it and I LOVE the scene with the referee denying the goalkeeper medical help It is spreading in Germany and a pretty funny highlight. Paraguay goalkeeper sits down, screams for medical help, referee looks at him and literally signals "no man, fuck you, not gonna get any help here - let's go!".

The referee was all for Turkey, but they lost him due to these stupid fouls. With that performance I think you really had no place at the World Cup anyway.
