Competition in Div.2 is brutal. I didn't expect to be thrown into the league like a ragdoll. I'm hoping to finish 14th so I avoid the relegation battle, but we will see.

Number 1 would be good obviously but I'd rather just get promo and jump back to Division 1 again so gotta keep my head up chin down and prepare for war cause the rounds are getting slimmer by the day.

I already forgot what I picked this round, but after a quick look at the sheet, it's good to see we're off to a decent start thanks to Croatia's 1-0 win.

I still need one more to secure penalties, or two more for the win. I'll probably finish my entry for the next round tomorrow, even if I don't survive, it wouldn't hurt to keep tabs on the teams for the official rounds.

I think I just lost a point in this cup round, unless Canada does something spectacular and scores two goals in last 20 minutes.
Now my only hope is for Germany to score two or more goals, and not allow Ecuador to score anything.
After that I also have to wait for penalties and anything can happen in that match.

I thought Switzerland vs Canada should be an easy one for a draw, but I guess I was wrong and to make matters worse, it's Switzerland with a 2-goal lead, that'd put me at the mercy of Ecuador - Germany to secure just a draw and force penalty, things couldn't have get any worse than this, I'd say.

I too thought it would be a draw and they both would take it some what easy but nope Swiss came away with the win and the group, Canada had many chances to equalize but they just couldn't in the end, on that note Haiti with the great start and goal to start that match amazing if they could hold on but I guess we shall see.

Even before ever setting foot there, I always thought it seemed the most cruel yeah, and now experiencing it myself. Hard to imagine at the start of the season I'd accrue 10 poits at the halfway line and find myself bottom of the pile. Ok, I won, and now sit in the middle but another loss, two losses, and it's back down in the dungeoun.

Also want to promote, obviously, but it is not going to be a walk in the park.

Luck has somehow smiled upon me for now. We will see what happens in the Ecuador vs. Germany game, but it's going to be a little difficult to achieve under 2.5 goals. I think a likely result will be a 2-1 win for Germany, but also I bet on South Korea on like 3 or 4 tickets, so what do I know?

So far, the week has been quite good for me, and I’m currently leading 2:1. At the moment, things are looking promising for me in this cup round, but I will know more tomorrow. Definetly not a walk in the park at all no easy wins down here but I haven't even played most of the top so I'm guessing during this latter part of the season is when I'll get all the big dogs but it's all good I'm open to the challenge. I just need to hold down my spot and try make it back to Division 1, and yeah it's looking quite rough for you but do like the ol' comrade Slissy and crack a few brews and lock in!!!!!!!!

This season of BSFL continues to go great for us so far, our team is still competing on all fronts even if we are relying on just a few starters and a lot of reserves, since our best players are all away representing Team South America in the Road To Glory, we are doing good there with 2 wins in our first 2 games. Because of that we were glad to have the cup match this week, luckily we faced a team from the 4th division but we made sure not to underestimate them and came out strong to secure an early win, GG General_Bitcoin, now we are ready for the next round. It's going to get tougher next week with the return of the league and our stars looking for an extended stay in the RTG. We'll be trying our best to stay close to the leaders and survive another week in LMS. It's a lot to ask from our reserve players but around here we fight until we die.

To the best of your interest Germany have named an almost unchanged starting line up, which could mean only one thing goals galore and one sided affair, which either way works in your favor, I'll just have to hold on to the believe of Ecuador being the desperate one here, and hope for 1-1 or 2-1 finish for either side, If I had picked the same answer as your for this question, then the tie would have been over as well, so giving myself a fighting chance with this one still a good thing, I guess.

Sorry buwa, but this match started with goals from both teams already.  
I burned myself already in this world cup playing on Germany not to concede, so I am not repeating this mistake again.
Sadly for me I also lost a point because Ecuador scored, and I think that I am out of the cup yet again, dream for survival is over

I wasn't expecting it, but somehow I've been able to force penalties, thanks to Ecuador and Germany for keeping it civil after that early scare for me... Now, it's all in the court of Paraguay vs Australia where I'd be needing a goal in the first half and/or either team should win in regular time, if only one of these should happen, then I'd need Paraguay to have the most shots on target for me to advance to the next round.

Nice cup round for our club @Trofo, everything went according to my expectations, Ecuador - Germany match stayed under 3,5 goals. Honestly, I was surprised by the final score, even though two goals were scored early on—giving them plenty of time to net another two to four goals, but it didn't happen. I feel lucky about that, LOL.
