That sneaky tennis question caught me off guard, as I was expecting another round of pure football questions.  

I've gained a bit of a confidence boost thanks to the back to back wins in last week's Cup matches. Aiming for at least a draw since this is a mid-table matchup and I don't mind chilling at the middle of the pack.

I have never made it this far in the cup before, so this is a huge surprise for me! I have also already secured a reward, as the teams finishing in 7th and 8th place receive free bets. I was wondering whether there will be an additional deciding round for the teams finishing between 4th and 8th place, or if the points earned during the Round of 16 will be used to determine the final rankings. I am curious about how the placement system works in this stage of the competition.

Trofo or cryptofrka will probably clarify this, but I expect the quarter-finals losers to play 5th-8th play-offs.
In previous seasons, the rewards were the same for players finishing the cup 5th to 8th players and there was no need to determine their exact positions.

Yeah, they will be involved in at least one more round as a way to differentiate into the rewards. We still didn't announce publicly how it will look, but we will before it becomes relevant. Probably just one more round to decide into which reward bracket they will go, rather than two more rounds to get exact spots.

After these first round of Knockout round games it's gonna be a very crazy week, holy smokes Germany out, Netherlands out, Brazil had a somewhat rough match against Japan. All I can  say is that we gonna get a lot of more of these type of games for sure so don't be surprised at the results this week guys.

It was a reality check for the teams, now they know that no team is going to be a walk in the park, even though there are supposedly a lot of weak teams on paper left in the round, and every team, regardless of how much of an underdog they just need to stay in the game long enough, they’ll get their own chances, although a lot of those games could have gone differently if Germany for instance didn’t have to fall behind first, it might have opened up the game a bit more, I was really impressed by the performance from Japan, I just can’t say Brazil didn’t deserve to go through.

Big reality check, teams will have to second guess how they approach games and it'll definitely be way different approaches for sure no walk in the park type games maybe a few but for sure not many, Japan was very good this World Cup to be fair. Brazil well i don't know they are my favourite team but I always have to call it how I see it and I don't think they will go far to be honest. But Germany what happened there total collapse and they out first round didn't see that coming at all but thats just the nature of sport.

Already saw we have almost every question differently answered on the first half, so didn't bother checking the rest until perhaps we're 5/10 done. Maybe I clean up on my goal difference eh?

Wow this round is gonna be super tight with alot of the same answers between my opponent and I, I hate these type of rounds where one mistake and its over basically no wiggle room at all but we shall see I've seen weirder things happen. At least Undav not scoring gave me a slight advantage on the goal scorer question and dammit Shelton why you have to lose so early although that didn't do anything but still.

Well finally in my comeback to this competition for the league i ahve 6 diferent answers with the snake mafia, lets see if i can take a victory for all the people across the world like the one we get in the road to glory in the teams competitions. Is not gonna be an easy task since one of the qeustions is about tennis and we all know the mafia snake knows a lot about it.

As for Marathon, Mafia made the questions easy, so I’m picking them off like flies — not so confident when it comes to BSFL. I think Mafia made the picks for Marathon easy on purpose so they can grab the money, but I’ll give them a fight for it

While checking out the answers I thought for once if all of them were the same. But there are many differences in the last 5 vs ajanwalker.

I thought Algeria wouldn't let Switzerland win in regular time. They've really capable players for that. Just like the Austria game... I expect a close one between Colombia and Ghana also but Colombia should be the winner.

I forgot to use VAR for the tennis question but thankfully my competitor gave the same answer.

I was so close to missing the deadline. In the final moments I managed to submit my answers thankfully. Otherwise it was going to cost me a point and reduce my potential reward both.

As far as I can see we have 5 different answers with ulven. We lost in the last round and trained harder for this fixture. I hope my players will get the win this time.

Man why didn't I believe in France no sweat off my back really but man they dominated that game I expected Sweden to score at least one goal but nope luckily my opponent had the same answer so I don't feel too bad and also Isak not scoring was blessed too, so all in all not a bad start could've been better but it is what it is.

France conceded against an highly rotated Norway team, and did so against Senegal in their tournament opener as well, it wasn't crazy to have expected a goal for Sweden, I'd say while expecting France to win, that's the least anyone could have asked, and to be honest, Sweden could have easily scored at least one goal, they were just maybe unlucky...

Not the kind of start I was hoping for, but it's the one I get, and it in this case nothing beats the chance of being able to get even and turn it around with 7 more different questions to go.

Nope, Goykeres wasted the only clear chance in the game to score a goal - I understand they were already on the cliff, but this is football, and that gaol may have given them more reasons to fight back.
