Strange having won my match so early in the week, not having to frantically compare answers to my opponent over the weekend.

I’ve been trying and failing to follow Q10 in the tennis. Maybe I should just he happy with the 3 points and enjoy the week off due to the cup next week Cheesy

Things got tough after our team had a good performance in the cup. This time, in the continuation of the league round we lost to the @LTU_btc team, they were already leading by 2 - 4 with only 1 question remaining. Congrats on your win, mate. Hopefully, we can secure full points in the next round to avoid relegation.

I'm so glad that I don't have to wait for this tennis match to win the round thanks to Australia last night, such a relief but the fight isn't over and the race to division 1 is still on can't be complacent and relax one bit because these sharks in the top 3 are hungry and waiting for fresh chum to start thrashing these here deep waters, so naturally I gotta be a dolphin and out maneuver these guys hopefully Grin

Right now me and my opponent have the same point total, so everything depends on the H2H Tennis question. Three players have already lost, only two are left. Lehecka still looks alive, and it all depends on how the Bublik match turns out. If Bublik wins, this might end up as a draw between us. It is a close race, so we just need to wait and see what happens.

I cant believe my eyes what just happened, but I think turned result around and won this round! Shocked

Just few days ago I gave up all my hope, but after that I had all green days with correct questions, and I just got another point for last tennis question.
I have to wait for official confirmation from Mafia syndicate, but this could be very important points for my return to 1st Division.

I knew it,,, I lost. Stupid Egypt killed me and stupid everything just made me lose. LMS 5 points beating leader is not good enough, we have to win every single point, but my team got slack,,, and allowed @Da_Silva to snatch it just like all World Cup stupid teams Grin

I knew the cup round was a big distraction,,, have to give my team a shouting session.

We had to go with the cup. Impossible to write full 10 questions when most of the games in R16 of WC are played in the time between we post the questions and deadline. With cup we have a good chance to cover a lot of it by dropping the questions in 2 parts once again.

That works we get to regroup and plan ahead a little bit better now for the next round of BSFL then, I came out with a lucky win in a tight margin affair so I'm definitely cool with it. Grin

It is the 2nd loss in a row for my team which is really sad. We have had championship hopes but now things are getting much more difficult.

6-1 win for the team this week, does great for the SD but I think only one team from 2nd to 5th lost so team LFC move up only one position in the table to 5th place, one position behind a chance to get promoted via the play offs. We are going to need to have to continue our run to stand a chance, five wins in a row at the moment.

It is what it is I guess and since Im behind then I couldnt complain with the result

Overall I had pretty good answers but it didnt go my way and if there is anything that I wish I could change would be France to keep the cleansheet. Im not sure what was I even expected from Sweden considering they got trashed so bad against Netherlands

Egypt and Ghana could have gone as what I expected them to be but yeah its a good round. I hope the other guy on top lose their rounds so it would beneficial for us Grin

As we mentioned already, this week will be Cup week in BSFL. We only one round with 5 questions (+pens) and deadline will be later then usual. Probably on Thursday with questions coming up on Tuesday. We decided to go about it this way since it would be impossible to field 10 good questions for proper league round with the WC schedule as it is and keeping to our usual deadlines. Since it is only 8 players left should much easier to make everyone submit with new deadline.

Somehow I missed that info before, but good to hear it now. I am leaving for a holiday tomorrow morning, and I was already slightly annoyed that I would have to submit my answers tonight, which is much earlier than I usually do.

Then again, since I am coming back in ~10 days, that means I will have to submit next round via mobile phone (first time going for a such a long holiday without brining laptop) and that will be a major pain in the ass.
