Sending on 3 different addresses is a bit too much, not to mention not completely fair to all other players. We are paying fee from community pool. if every player wanted money sent to 3 addressees, our tx costs would be much bigger. I have no problem paying side bets inside BSFL since that doesn't do anything for actual Tx. I am still not saying no, just remind a day before tx goes out on telegram.


I think I have caught all your wishes so far. Don't bother to check the link before I update it again in new post. I am making changes on my offline excel copy. There will be updated version on Friday and then final one on Sunday with all the info. We plan to pay on Monday evening.

I was thinking about joining Road to Glory, but I’m still not sure. One thing is a World Cup that lasts a month and a half, but the Champions League lasting 9 months puts me off a bit.

In my opinion, it would be better to make the tournament around the Champions League group stage, with 8 rounds up to January.

The 4 group-stage matches of Road to Glory would be Rounds 1–4 of the Champions League.
Road T G- Round of 16 → Round 5 of the Champions League
Road  T G- Quarterfinals → Round 6 of the CL
Road T G- Semifinals → Round 7 of the CL
Road T G- Final → Round 8 of the CL

And then you could make the next Road to Glory 2 around the Champions League playoffs. The playoffs also have 9 rounds — two legs in the Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarterfinals and Semifinals, plus the Final. So that would be 9 rounds in total.

Well all the other league's pool are also a whole season so this is no different but RTG is fun though because you play alongside the others.

I need to win something next season, so I can start selling the books, and with the prize as low as $50, imagine if I able to sell 20,000 sets, I'll get my first $1m So wild!

I think you will have better chance on making money by betting Hull City to win. Either Carrick sucks or those guy were just better than their previous statistics

It's way better if it's a longer format. The battle for the top spots will be more about skill than luck, the battle for the top goalscorer as well.
I personally feel that the current CL format is ideal for RTG - it works even better than the previous CL formats with 4 teams per groups.

If RTG becomes seasonal, we'll also have seeded teams, player valuations etc - plenty of stuff to play around with.

Not to mention, securing sponsorships is not that easy. There is no sponsor in the world that would pay for 50% of the CL season, even if we saw value in such a competition.

I'm confirming my participation for next season. Sucks to be back in division 4 after getting promoted up, the team will want a quick bounce back up and then we can think of getting to div. 2 for the first time since we joined BSFL.
This should hopefully be an injury free season for us with no missed deadlines. If we can stay fit all season we should be very competitive.

I want each of you to confirm you will be playing next season. This season we have one team too many in Div4 and it will give us quite a lot of work to accommodate it. We will let you all play but I don't want one of you just not playing after we do that Happened to us in the past. People sign up and than forget about it.

Of course I participated, I waited long enough from the beginning of registration until now, I have read the rules in bsfl and know the consequences.

Indeed it would not be fair to other members if the new participant had half intentions and quit halfway through so I will commit to be consistent in this regard.
Count me in for Division 4 next season.

Gosh, I didn't know this because I only saw that it was a final (my bad not seeing the spreedsheat) because at first I thought that the friendly match would be the same as before where there was a questionnaire with tags but didn't know that the question around this cup final/playoff was being a friendly match.

No worries, it's totally okay. Yeah I was just trying to minimize the fees a bit on my side too. I thought it would be okay since you're the one managing the pools, so I figured it wouldn't be much of an issue. But I completely understand your point things can get complicated when there are multiple addresses and it also affects the transaction fees for the community pool.

Thanks for explaining and sorry for the extra hassle. I'll just stick with the address you already have on the table.

@Saint-loup this is a draw packed with pain. It only gave you one higher spot while it cost me the chance for relegation play-offs. At least it wasn't very close because the Liverpool game went bad for me regardless. if this had been another nail biting round, ending with this result, it would have even been worse.

You were the main author of your own downfall than anybody else, you remember in the 2nd round where you failed to submit, and after losing by default 3:0 to me, you also had an extra point deducted from your points, all of these eventually decided to add up, I guess, I'm not saying you could have won because I had solid round, 6 scores for that round, 4/8 in regular questions and 8/9 in H2H, which means it would have been tough to be beat, but at least you would have stood a chance. That's why every question and point tend to matter here at the end of the day.

It would have probably not made much of a difference then if you had 6 points in that round. But how did you manage to end up just one point ahead of me when I failed to submit, lol. That makes it -4 points between you and me in one round and yet I have still been close to you.

So apart from that failed submission, I would have still made it to play-offs had I won last round. Now off to div 2, it's sad but I tink I have come back once in the past? Can't really remember right now.
