What's your reason for not expecting Dinamo Zagreb to lose? I think they deserved to lose to Viking, considering how they failed to beat them in the first leg. Norwegian football has indeed been developing well over the past few years & they also made a significant impact at the last WC competition. Bodø/Glimt is a team that has recently risen to prominence, a few years ago, the powerhouses of the Eliteserien were Rosenborg, Viking & Molde.

BTW, it seems our final match is a bit tight @xLays. It's currently 1 - 1, my team would have been leading 2 - 1 if Maccabi Tel Aviv had managed to hold onto their lead until FT. Well, there are only 2 regular questions left in our final match, Bayern Munich & Manchester City match.

Incredible how he's managed to fly under the radar season in, season out. He never says much, never moves much, I almost can't believe he's one of the originals and last one standing at that...

It was his quiet and effective demeanour which led me to align with him in RtG. Unfortunately, I don't have yet the same wisdom to be on par, but hopefully more of it rubs off this time.

Oh and jayce, I've always admired Athletic so it does seem fitting you prefer a comparison to them. Local boys all the way, and always amongst the best. What it must be to be a supporter!

If I had gone with logic, I think I would have picked Viking instead and now I'd have a two-point lead. The last miss was too expensive, not only for your promotion but for the guys fighting for the title also - not submitting once was the reason I got relagated from division 1 and turned to present day Portsmouth every since.

The only thing helping me is the double alarm i set for this pool; one pops up on a Monday evening and the last one pops up 2 hours before deadline.

I don't consider myself lucky, I chose the answer after due consideration. If the question is about who will advance, I think we would share the same view. But that isn't the question, I just think Maccabi Tel Aviv could at least extend the match into ET.

BTW, I saw your answer for the penalty, it didn't look like you were taking it seriously, or maybe you were just confident you could win based on the regular questions. AFAIK, if we win one of the 2 remaining questions, our team will most likely win the cup.

We who are from Croatia expected something like that. It's true that Dinamo knows how to play these kind of games, but this year the team doesn't look good. I read somewhere (I think it was some Facebook group "Football meets data" or something like that) that Dinamo is by far the club with the most appearances in the Champions League qualifying rounds, and even if they didn't play in any qualifiers for the next 10 years, they would still have the most appearances. Crazy!

That is one of the worst things when happen, and im talking about when you as a local know more than others but also for being a local you get biased, and when the reality shows you you had to follow the logic and not your "emotions or hearth" it hurts even more.

And yes Dinamo Zagreb manage to build a name around the top competition of europe, i know they never make so far since is nearby to impossible to beat the huge teams from big leagues, but aside of it they are always there. I still remember the Orsic goals against Totenham a few years ago. ( it was against Totenham? Im starting to doubt)

I did it mostly because of the artificial grass. Not sure what the big deal is, but whenever our clubs play on it they tend to lose.
I do feel it was a soft penalty to concede and I think Dinamo would have held on without it being given - in this instance I'd also gladly trade my BSFL points for a Dinamo win.

The draw wasn't kind to us - EL will be tough this year.

Well capt, the only wisdom I have is knowing that whatever team I bet on or predict to win is immediately guaranteed to lose. Even when I do reverse psychology, the result is always the opposite. Very frightening wisdom.
