Karachi Kings have made a good start of their PSL 2026 by winning both their initial games. Today Lahore team batting was not impressive, they made 128 runs after winning the toss and electing to bat first. No aggressive innings from any Lahore batsmen. Karachi Kings Adam Zampa was impressive with ball today, in his 4 overs he conceded only 11 runs and picked 2 wickets. The target was not big still Karachi kings have to play 19.3 overs to win the game. Its a low scoring game and we didn't saw any player hitting big shorts.     

In the Pakistan Super League the energetic game between Karachi King and Lahore Qalanders to be seen and Karachi  showing quality cricket and defeated Lahore  by 4 wickets. Lahore Qalanders opens inning first with Muhammad Naeem and Fakhar Zaman and both the openers was not in good batting form and don't put a positive start for the team and Naeem just scores 13 runs but Fakhar lost his wicket early on 1 run and in middle order Abdullah Shafique is in aggressive mod and showing a very Classical innings by scoring 33 runs and after that the batting order completely destroyed and only Haseebullah Khan playing his role by scoring 28 runs and at the end of the innings Lahore set a very low target of 129 runs.

 Karachi Kings opens inning with David Warner and Muhammad Waseem and among the openers Waseem doing well for the team and gives a very powerful start to the team and played a defensive innings of 38 runs but Warner just scores 8 runs and in middle order the Moeen Ali trying well for run chase played a good innings of 18 runs and also Azam Khan paying his responsibility by scoring 14 runs and Karachi chase the target successfully and won the game

Quetta Gladiators vs Hyderabad Kingsmen

Did anyone watch today match of Pakistan Super League competition among Hyderabad Kingsmen and Quetta Gladiators squad?

It's second consecutive defeat for Hyderabad Kingsman which I think isn't good for new franchise at their very first season, but may be lack of experience were putting obstacle in thier way, morever consecutive failure of thier top order especially saim as well as several other become main headache, as a good aggressive innings from them at start can get a huge relief for team, also thier bowling order isn't has much depths to keep opponent below the required. Hope so Hyderabad will learn from recent defeat and will set some new plan to Atleast secure some handosme position at standing before tournament end.

Today was the match of PZ and PindiZ and that was a thriller to watch as a Zalmi fan. We were sad about saim leaving but Haris filled his spot today and didnt let us feel saim has left. Moreover Babar was also great and others too. Peshawar had a lesser run tate the whole game but from 16th over the game started to elevate and Bracewell along with Aamer jamal gave the finishing knock. Aamer jamal IMO was the real MVP.

This match was played between Rawalpindi and Peshawar Zalmi in which Rawalpindi decided to bat and taking advantage of this opportunity gave 214 runs in 20 overs and from their team Yasir Khan scored 83 runs and with him Mohammad Rizwan scored 41 runs. They kept a very strong batting due to which they were able to give a big target and moreover from their team Abdullah Fazal also remained not out who supported his team and Peshawar Zalmi team was able to achieve this target which won this match. From their team Mohammad Haris scored 47 runs and secondly Babar Azam scored 39 runs and they achieved this target with his strong batting. One of the players from Peshawar team who is Michael Bracewell was declared player of the match. Peshawar won his team by 5 wickets and just 5 balls.  but they already won this match

Rawalpindiz gave a target of 214 runs but PZ won the match quite comfortably in 19.1 overs. Babar Azam scored 39 runs on 28 balls and he need to improve his scoring rate in coming matches. If you are opener and playing 28 balls then you have to score at least 50 runs. Yasir Khan scored 83 runs on just 46 balls, if he can play few more innings like that in this PSL then selectors will defiantly give him a chance to play for Pakistan. All eight teams of PSL have now played their first match of PSL 2026.

Babar Azam played very classic inning in the last match because her hit boundaries to world class bowler Amir and Amir was proved to be costly bowler to his team and he gave 49 runs in 4 overs and no body though that will be an easy chase for Peshawar zalmi cricket team because they controled pressure of this match and chased the score in last over. Bracewell played important inning for his team because he made 35 runs in just 17 balls And he played with strike rate of 205 in this match. Aamer Jamal played very well in the last overs when boundaries needed in this match and made 17 runs in just 5 balls .  Abdul samad made  score of 33 in just 11 balls which was important inning for his team because that was required to his team and strike rate mattered in the last overs .

Islamabad United VS Multan sultan

Multan Sultan is now batting against Islamabad United at a target of 172 runs. The target is not very big. If the bowlers of Islamabad United cannot bowl in a controlled manner, they will not be able to win.

So far, the chances of both teams winning seem to be equal. Multan has scored 64 runs after 8 overs. They have scored at an average of 8 runs per over. And have lost two wickets. If Multan Sultan does not lose wickets very quickly, then they will be able to win the match. But if they lose any more wickets before 12 overs, it will become more difficult to win the match.

The game of Pakistan Super League between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans was very interesting and enjoyable and Multan won the game by 5 wickets. Islamabad opens inning first with Devon Conway and Sameer Minhas and both the openers was in a good batting form and showing their class very Well and gives a good start to team and Conway played a secure innings of 26 runs and also Munhas was in incredible form and scores 28 runs and in middle order other players Mark Chapman played a aggressive knock of 40 runs and also Faheem Ashraf paying his role best by scoring 26 runs and at the end of the innings Islamabad United set a good  target of 172 runs..Multan Sultans opens inning with Sahib Zada Farhan and Steven Smith and among the openers Smith trying to built good partnership and played a well knock of 31 runsand gives a very powerful start to the team but Farhan lost his wicket early on 2 runs and in middle order the Josh Philippe trying to do well for run chase played a good innings of 55 runs and also Ashton Turner showing his power hitting abilities  by scoring 43 runs and Multan Sultan chase the target successfully and  won the game

By playing first Islamabad United  team scored 171 runs and they lost 8 wickets. In this inning Mark Chapman performance was appropriate able. They took start low, they should utilise power effectively but they played slow. Anyways they made good total for opponent team. On the other hand Multan sultans team batting performance was very well. They chased this total easily in 18.4 overs. Josh Philippe and Ashton Turner performance was remarkable in this inning. They scored 93 runs collectively. So it was great impact on opponent team for building a pressure on it. So they fight well and they won the match with a great victory.

They took start low, they should utilise power effectively but they played slow. Anyways they made good total for opponent team. Islamabad United didn't play well in the first overs, where they had to hit and make runs. At the same time, you have to keep your wickets too, but they didn't think of it. In aiming for a big target, they lost their precious wickets, only Chapman scored well by himself. Unfortunately, one person's performance is not enough against a full team. In the same way, their bowlers were also not good, and they failed to chase the target. In my view, if they had focused on their bowling and pressured the Multan Sultans, they would have easily won the match, but they didn't and lost.

In the previous match of Lahore Qalandar, Shaheen Shah Afridi scored very well and for this I was just hoping that this time Shaheen had even more time because Raza got out early, I was hoping he would not play blindly and always look to smash the ball to have six, he needed to take 3 to 5 balls to be comfortable on the pitch and then do something different.

Because at the 15th over, Lahore Qalandars were just on 106 something runs, and surely it is a very bad total when you enter the dangerous zone. So, at that time, I was thinking if Shaheen would play the innings of 30 to 40 runs, then Lahore might be able to win, otherwise it's hard, and now the result is in front of us.

Yep, the energetic game between and Queeta Gladiator and Hyderabad Kingsman was to be seen and Queeta consistentaly   showing quality cricket and defeated Hyderabad by 40 runs. Queeta opens inning first with Saud Shakeel and Shamyl Hussain and among the openers Shamyl was in a good batting form and showing his class and played a well knock of 54 runs but Shakeel lost his wicket early on 4 runs and in middle order Hassan Nawaz is in good form and showing a very powerful hitting by scoring 53 runs and also Tom Curran paying his role by scoring 31 runs and at the end of the innings Queeta set a huge target of 172 runs. Hyderabad opens inning with Saim Ayub and Mazz Sadaqat and both the openers don't doing well for their team and don't gives a very powerful start to the team and Saim just scores 8 runs and also Mazz gone to pavilion with out scoring any runs and in middle order the Irfan Khan trying well for run chase played a good innings of 33 runs and also Hassan Khan played a aggressive innings and paying his responsibility by scoring 31 runs but Hyderabad don't chase the target successfully and Queeta won the game by 40 runs.

Everyone! Guys! PSL, being the 8th- or the 7th-most profitable league in the world, I never expected a ball-tampering controversy. This is going to ruin the event, which is already struggling financially. You cannot ignore this issue, and I am sure, being an Indian, I know BCCI will fuel this controversy through its PR mechanism. It will dent the reputation of PSL regardless of whether the human brain in this era will forget such a controversy after PSL ends. This is not a small incident; this will become a big incident in the coming months. Good Luck with PSL, and I hope my reply on this thread does not get deleted by the mods.

I would respect you guys if you could come up with a healthy discussion as to why there was a need to tamper with the ball. I do not understand why, on camera, anyone would do it.

After their first defeat, performance of Quetta Gladiators squad was much improved in today match against Hyderabad Kingsmen squad. Quetta Gladiators squad was begun match first with batting inning and batters were managed to collect 174 scores off 20 overs inning. Hasan Nawaz and Shamyl Hussain bowlers played wonderful inning today and both built strong and long batting partnership and collected 53 and 54 scores respectively. Hyderabad Kingsmen squad faced second defeat in PSL competition and their batters were fell short by 40 scores. Abrar Ahmed bowler played crucial role and he wiped out 2 wickets.

Quetta Gladiators amazing performance in this match and winning the match by 40 runs against Hyderabad Kingsmen. Quetta Gladiators moved to fifths position on point table by winning one match and lose one match with 2 points while Hyderabad Kingsmen disappointed performance in back to back matches and standing at bottom position on point table. The man of the match is Shamyl Hussain for his impressive batting abilities scoring a well deserved half century and out after scoring 54 runs from just 41 balls and assisted Quetta Gladiators to score 170 plus runs on board. Abrar Ahmed also bowl an outclassed spell picking three important wickets by only giving 23 with economy rate of under 6 runs and assisted Quetta Gladiators to win match easily

Because at the 15th over, Lahore Qalandars were just on 106 something runs, and surely it is a very bad total when you enter the dangerous zone. So, at that time, I was thinking if Shaheen would play the innings of 30 to 40 runs, then Lahore might be able to win, otherwise it's hard, and now the result is in front of us.

Early Parvez Hossain Emon was playing like one day game, he was even struggling to have running between the wickets and hardly get single, his strike rate was also not so good but then when Salman Ali Agha came, he went for big six and the ball landed into the stands, well on the very next ball just after a six, Salman Agha got over aggressive and got Emon, it was LBW and umpire did not give out but Karachi took the review and it was worth it.

Lahore Qalandar captain Shaheen Shah was also fined 1 million Pak rupee for violating security protocols at the team hotel. Police accused Shaheen Shah and Sikander Raza for violation of security protocols but action is taken against Shaheen only. In other case, Lahore Qalandars Fakhar Zaman is facing a trial of ball temping in which he might see some suspension. I haven't seen the video in which Fakhar was accused of ball temping, its a serious matter and must be dealt accordingly.

This is the fifth match of the Pakistan Super League series in which Quetta team is playing the second match and the team they are playing against is Hyderabad Kingsmen team which could not complete the target given to Quetta team. Hasan Nawaz and Shamyl Hussain both covered a major part of their target and it was because their target was 174. The runs of these two players combined are almost above 100 and the rest of the team together completed the remaining target. The opposing team which is Hyderabad team could not complete their target and their overs ended at 134 runs and it was also seen that their team was not able to bat well at all and they were not being played with which means that the bowlers of the opposing team have put a lot of pressure on them and that is what happened. The team of these two players who are among the best players  Both of them were dismissed early on, both of them scored almost eight runs.

I want to see the response from the PCB. When Steve Smith did something similar, he got banned for two years. From what I heard, PCB is considering to ban Fakhar Zaman for one or two matches. This is laughable. Allegations of ball tampering hurt the integrity of the game, and all they can do is to ban him for a couple of matches? This is exactly why the PCB is a joke. And there has been a lot of controversies so far in this season of the PSL. Apart from the incidents involving Naseem and Fakhar, yesterday Hasan Ali was given a fine equivalent to 10% of his match fee.

Today is going to be the 7th match of the Pakistan Super League between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi. I am very excited to see Babar Azam today because last time he played very well, played fearlessly and also after the World Cup, he said that he will recover his game and focus on his game instead of strike rate, which makes him hard and nervous to play. And last time he finally played after the World Cup and he is doing right work, smashing the shots and playing in every part of the ground.
