There was a time when Karachi Kings were one of the strongest teams but not anymore. Now, Karachi Kings are no more kings without Babar Azam, Muhammad Amir, and Imad Wasim.

All the kings were left Karachi Kings. Once a time, when they have Rizwan, Usman Shinwari, Babar Azam, Imad Wasim, and Muhammad Amir. This is a squad that allows Karachi to become a winner of PSL 5, but now no one from them is present in Karachi. On PSL 5, Muhammad Rizwan did only keeping he didn't get a chance to bat and Imad Wasim said if his place could not be made in the team so he couldn't play and now Karachi Kings kicked Imad Wasim from their team.

PSL 1st Game LQ vs IU

Lahore Qalandars have given a target of 196 runs after they were invited to bat first. Islamabad united decision to bowl first might be right but there bowlers were not able to stop Qalandars from giving a big target. Win probability is towards LQ, there is 77% chance that LQ will win this game. IU openers have just started the run chase and things will get more clear after 5 overs of IU batting.

First match of this competition was played among Lahore Qalandar and Islamabad United squad. Just a few minutes ago, this match was finished and the outcome of this match Islamabad United squad got a victory by beating Lahore Qalandar. But I feel disappointed for Lahore Qalandar squad because their squad collected very huge scores as a defeating target total 195 scores by losing 5 wickets but Lahore Qalandar squad bowlers waa unable to defend their target and lost this match with 8 wickets and 10 deliveries. Shadab Khan Captain of Islamabad United squad displayed very good inning and he collected 74 scores off 41 deliveries. Agha Salman also collected 64 scores off 31 scores  both these batter almost achieved target with not out. AW, Congrats Islamabad United squad for first victory.

PZ won the toss and asked QG to bat first. Quetta Gladiators took full advantage of batting first and gave a huge target to Peshawar Zalmi. From Quetta Gladiators, Jason Roay and Saud Shakeel gave tough time to Zalmi bowlers, Peshawar got first break through in 16th over when Saud Shakeel got out. Peshawar Zalmi run chase was good in the start but not good enough to win the match. Peshawar Zalmi lost the match against Quetta Gladiators, and this is the first match of Quetta in PSL history in which the captain was not Sarfraz Ahmed and the new captain of Quetta is Rilee Rossow. By the way, it's a noticeable thing because the player who played 8 years for them as captain and gave a trophy to them so in just a season they replaced them. Also, Rossow played for another franchise in PSL for Multan Sultan.

However, maybe it will be great for Quetta because after becoming his captain Quetta won the match against Peshawar after a long time. Sarfraz also did captaincy for Pakistan, and the Pakistan Under 19 team and the places where he did captaincy so he gave at least a trophy to them.

Jason Roy played a very good innings but it became hard for Peshawar Zalmi, and with him, Saud Shakeel also had a very good partnership. Jason Roy made 75 in 48 while Said Shakeel made 74 in 47 balls. I think in this Jason Roy should be a man of the match because Saud made 74 runs while Jason Roy made 75, I also knew that Saud Shakeel played less than 1 ball than Roy but it's Shakeel's fault because he lost hs Wicket early then Roy.

In the early, Quetta players played very well and hit fours and sixes. In an over of early, they at least made runs more than 8 with the help of powerplay.

The turning point from where Peshawar Zalmi going to lose was when Saim Ayub was out. Saim was upset with this wicket. After this wicket, Babar Azam also said "It's my mistake, I also said sorry to Saim Ayub on that", but after saying sorry nothing can be changed.

Actually, Saim Ayub was on batting and he hit a normal shot to take a single but Babar wanted a double and e run for double but Saim stopped him and he stopped but the fielder threw was wrong and Babar told Saim come here but in this overthrow Babar Azam was touched the Greece by his bat but on the other side it went wrong for Saim Ayub.

Many batters of Karachi Kings squad was not displayed real and good batting inning performance like James Vince, Daniel Sams, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Nawaz and Saad Baig. James Vince Batter was wiped out at 5 scores, Saad Baig also not got out at 0 scores, Mohammad Nawaz also cleared out from crease after collecting 7 scores. My initial thinking was that Multan Sultans have not scored enough runs and it will be a bit difficult for them to secure 185 runs but we saw disappointing batting from Karachi kings. Look at figures of Shan Masood he played 31 balls to score 30 runs, Shoaib Malik was good with bat and scored 53 runs on 35 balls. The way Karachi kings have played there first match it seems like they will finish last on points table this year also.

At yesterday's match, when the Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi match was played so on that time, Muhammad Haris went injured while keeping behind the wickets, when the balls came some more out and the batsmen left it also so it went to the keeper and he picked but he dived.
A dive that needed do Helmet and at that time, he wore a cap, when his head went down his cap fell from his head, and when he landed to land so his head hard fell on land. I think because of that injury his pain is still left and cannot play much time as he played in every match.

The crowd supported Peshawar Zalmi more than the Quetta Gladiators but still the Peshawar Zalmi lost the match. Babar Azam was the player in Peshawar Zalmi, due to which the public support this team.

Now, the best team ever in this PSL is Lahore Qalandars and they had also much confidence because they won the last 2 tournaments of PSL seven and eighth.

In 2016, when PSL was started so from that time until PSL 7 Lahore Qalandars as the most unluckiest team ever. At that time, Multan Sultan did not exist and only 5 franchises were there. Which, 4 teams will play in the Semi-final, and the first three seasons always Lahore got the last position and always lost it.

In 2019, when Multan came into PSL for the first time and Lahore's chance to go to the Semii-final was also 0. So in 2020, Lahore went to the semi-final by winning against Multan Sultan, and then Covid-19 Virus came and that's why they stopped PSL but at the end of the year they again started to it and Lahore won against Peshawar when David Wise hit a six against Zalmi bowlers and led to them to final. But in the final, they met with Karachi Kings and Imad Wasim finished the match by hitting 4 when 4 runs were needed at 7 balls. then in 2021, Lahore didn't qualify for semi-final but in 2022 captain changed from Sohail to Shaheen Shah Afridi. That is the Journey of Lahore in the overall PSL tournament.
