The final match was competitive as expected. Both the teams performed well. Quetta Gladiators were able to bat well. The team was able to give a big target of 202 runs. We did not see any bowler from Lahore bowlers except Shaheen Shah Afridi bowling well.

Quetta was able to give a big target. Even then, the team lost. If the bowlers could have bowled a little more controlled, Quetta could have won the match. Lahore played especially well in the death overs. Lahore's collection was 131 runs after 15 overs. Lahore needed 71 runs to win in the last 5 overs.

Lahore won due to the innings of Kusal Perera and Sikandar Raza. Perera scored 62 runs off 31 balls and Raza was unbeaten on 22 runs off 7 balls. Lahore became the champion because of this pair.

Lahore qalandars outstanding performance in most important match of Pakistan super league and become the champions by winning this match by 6 wickets against Quetta gladiator. Lahore qalandars chase down a huge total of 200 plus runs in just loss of 4 wickets. Mohammad Naeem played q classic inning of 46 runs from just 27 balls, unfortunately they missed a well deserved half century by 4 runs short. Lahore qalandars bowling performance also amazing to watch especially Shaheen Shah Afridi picked 4 important wickets by just giving only 24 runs with an impressive economy rate of just 6 runs per over. The man of the match is Kusal Perera for his blasting batting performance scored 61 runs unbeatens inning from just 31 balls and assited his team to easily win the final match of tournament.

In final match between LQ and QG was played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore and QG won the toss and chose to batting first. QG lost the match when they close to win the tournament but they failed and lost game by 6 wickets and 1 balls. QG was played bad and posted a record total of 201 runs and LQ team won match and chased total record runs for 204. It was a fantastic performance and amazing gameplay by LQ team. I was quite disappointed with QG as LQ team showed great determination them on field. Congratulations to the LQ on their victory and won tournament. The Amazing batting performance for LQ was showed by Kusal Perera who scored 62 runs and 31 balls and hitting 5 fours and 4 sixes.

The man of the match for this final was Kusal Perera who made 62 runs. No doubt that was the critical innings at that stage. But then before him, Mohammad Naeem and Abdullah Shafique also played a quick 40+ innings, each of them. I think if you ask me it was Sikandar Raza last over hitting that won the match for Lahore. Although he played just seven balls but those 22 runs that he scored were the match winning for the Qalandar's team. I thought he deserved to be the player of this final, anyhow not taking any credit away from the great Kusal Perera  

Congratulations Lahore Qalandars for being champions of the PSL 2025 trophy. Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars both gave a tough competition to each other fully entertaining their audience and what a suspenseful game it was. Quetta Gladiators batters face big pressure early by posting a massive total of 201 runs. In the second innings, despite of the massive target, Lahore Qalandars played with confidence and were free from any pressure. However they lost wickets at start but they soon recovered it with great performance by middle order players. With key contributions across the board, they kept the momentum alive throughout the innings. As the final overs approached LQ remained composed crossing the finish line with determination and fair. This victory is a landmark moment for LQ, showcasing their growth, consistency and fighting spirit. From underdogs in earlier season to lifting the trophy in one of the biggest nights in PSL history, their journey has been remarkable.

Sikandar Raza was playing test match against England on 24th May at Nottingham while he also participated in final of PSL on very next day.  This shows his commitment with LQ, Sikandar Raza not only participated in final of PSL but also played a match wining innings of 22 runs that include 2 sixes and 2 fours. Sikandar Raza was expensive in bowling, he picked just one wicket and gave 43 runs in his 4 overs. It was an interesting final and match was decided in 19.5 overs which clearly tells how close the contest was. QG after doing all the hard work failed to win the final to lift the trophy. 

Even all social media is highlighting Sikandar Raza as he came from England and joined Qalandars for this big final game with his contribution is also amazing but Kusal Periera done impressive job because he stays here and play important role.
Final was fascinating because both teams were balanced and target was also not bad but Gladiators fight till end which is the best part of this final game which played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
Now Qalandars are having 3rd trophy in 4 years which mean things are clearly going into their favor and their team depth is also increasing which is always helpful for winning in big games even this was not good season due to conflict and mostly fans were also not joined at stadiums to support their teams.

No doubt Kushal played a vital role to make Lahore champions especially at final, because it's like quite tough to tackle amir at crucial over. but he does and smashed him difficult shots which results in push Quetta on back foot, and then sikhander hit a few handsome shots and Lahore become champions morever it's first time to chased 200+ in final and that by Lahore for a first time in PSL history. I think such achievement were making Shaheen best ever captain not only for Lahore, but for entire PSL.
Anyway it was 10th edition of PSL now team will be retain again by thier owner or some new with some changes, morever two more team will be part of 11th edition, while from some sources PSL management were on plan to reduce maximum retain player number to 3, which isn't look good.
