Peshawer Zalmi are about to win this 2nd playsoff match against Islamabad because Islamabad need 16 runs on two balls which is impossible for Islamabad to chase. What a comeback by Peshawer bowling lineup they crush the strong entire batting lineup of Islamabad, at starting 10 over Islamabad almost score around 100 while just lose one so at that time I taught the Peshawer are about to lose but later they bowling show his potential and finally they win the playsoff and soon will face Lahore Qalanders in third playsoff of this season

I was not supporting any team but today - I thought Babar should be in final because if he loose that will be very bad to his career

Babar Azam was in great form throughout this tournament even though his team was not doing that great in some matches but when it came down to knockout match Peshawar Zalmi was able to defeat Islamabad United when even the odds makers were not giving not much chance for Peshawar to win the match but they bowled really well in the final 6 overs and picked up crucial wickets at crucial times.

They seem to have done an incredible job with their bowling line up and showed great determination to bounce back from a tough start in the first 10 overs. That's really an impressive bowling lineup that helped Peshawar Zalmi win the match. In the last five overs Islamabad United were able to score just 39 runs. The match that looked to be an easy win at some point turned in favour of Peshawar Zalmi. The middle order disappointed the Islamabad United fans. Now the playoff match between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars is really interesting because the team placed at the first position on points table and the fourth position fights to reach the finals.

Islamabad United crashed out of PSL 2023 with a 12-run defeat to Peshawar Zalmi. Although 184 runs was the target, Islamabad United did not succeed in chasing that target level in the end. But Babar Azam's test is not over yet, they need to win against Peshawar Zalmi in the second qualifier to confirm the final. Islamabad United will have hard time chasing if they'll not stop Peshawar from scoring high.

Babar Azam played a big role in winning Peshawar Zalmi.  He hit 10 4s which increased the run rate a lot.  But scoring 250 in a T20 match is not very easy.  Peshawar Zalmi set a target of 183 for 8 wickets which is quite a big target in T20. At Islamabad United, C. Munro played 9 balls out of which he wasted 8 balls and hit 1 ball for 4s.  Because of this 8 ball waste, they fell behind a lot in terms of runs so they fell 12 runs behind Peshawar Zalmi and lost the match. that was a big mistake for Islamabad United.

At one time when Alex Hales and Sohaib Maqsood were batting, it seems that Islamabad united will easily chase this total but this was not the case. As soon as Sohaib Maqsood was out in the 14th over, they lost quick wickets and lost the game eventually. At one time the score was 127/1 and it seems that no one can stop Islamabad from winning.
Salman Irshad and Aamer Jamal bowled really well, they took 2 wickets each but more importantly gave very few runs in their 4 overs each.

Shadab Khan has been named as T20 captain for upcoming series against Afghanistan. Don't know what PCB new management saw in him for captaincy and Faheem Ashraf too is in squad. Pakistan team is the one who is totally inclined itself towards T20 with no respect for Test and ODI. Right now there is hardly any test player available that can play and score runs in test.

Yes you are right I was a bit worried watching this match. But nothing to do I was betting on this match. When I saw their poor performance I stopped watching the match and lay down. Later I lost this match but it was  I am very sad that my favorite team lost like this. In this match but I am hoping that in the next match I will bet again and my favorite team will win again.

This is a do or die match for Lahore and for me this may be the most important match in the PSL. I am supporting my home team Lahore Qalandars and I really want them to reach the finals.
Ideally, Lahore Qalandars are not good at chasing the runs but unfortunately, Shaheen Afridi lost the toss today and Babar Azam rightly decided to bat first.

Anyways, Lahore Qaladars must restrict Peshawar Zalmi to 160 or less runs so that the pressure does not pile up on them when they come to chase later in the evening.

By the way, we had some showers in the day and the weather is cool and ideal for playing and also watching cricket in the stadium.

Peshawar Zalmi are playing very slow in the last moment and they seem to be targeting less runs than yesterday. Yesterday they set a target of 183 runs but today it looks like they won't be able to pay more than 170. I was disappointed by their last moment performance.  And now it is doubtful that they will be able to win today. I did not expect such a game from them. They could not sustain their own good performance for a long time which might have led to their defeat today.

I also expect 200 around from Peshawer because the way they start the inning with a runrate of 10 it's easy from them to hit required target, but as you know that Lahore pitch is completely bowler supporting while also they have world class batter so it's fair so score a target of 171 against them. After first inning Haris the performer told that it's was my good luck to get some bad ball through which I hit shot but honestly it's too tough pitch because bowl seam to while also reverse too , so through such a kind of pitch Peshawer Zalmi will easily defend that target. Now let's see how Peshawer bowler can defend it
