Does Bounty really pay?

Sometimes I find myself being added to Telegram groups where they are doing bounty campaigns for new coins but at the end of the day, people will start complaining that the project is dead. In most cases I exited from the groups immediately I find myself there because I feel they are prone to defrauding people.
This makes me to wonder if bounties really pay.

Choose the best bounty campaign, most of them are paying but not all so if you are going to participate make sure that it is being escrowed and the manager is reputable. Though paying you with their own token might be ok, there’s still no guarantee for the value of that token so make sure you are ready for that risk or else better not to participate on a bounty anymore. You’re lucky if you find a bounty that pain thru Bitcoin and USDT, that’s a sure money already.

Similar questions have been raised severally here, one thing I understand is that it's hard to say about a bounty campaign that would pay hunters or not. And when we talk of payment, it's a payment that can be tradable and gives their hunters a reasonable amount and not just a shittoken that would occupied space in your address. That's why it's very risky to join a bounty campaign because there's no assurance or guarantee it will pay, you can only join those campaign that pays with stablecoin and is common with @bountydetective.

95% of them doesn't pay and owners just want free advertising to their project then leave if they failed or even succeed since they can't afford to list their tokens to be listed on expensive exchange. Also 5% chance that they paid but don't expect to get good pay cuts because mostly if they got listed on shit exchanges the value shrunk down because many of its early investors or words the devs are dumping it to secure their profits.

I don't know how much the percentage is (maybe 95% or more), but I agree that most of them didn't pay because of varied reasons.
Not only because of they fail, in most cases the projects are indicated as scams. Scammers just use the bounty program to attract many investors, then they just leave after they get enough money from investors. Well, there is a small chance to find good projects, many just waste our time because of shit values of the tokens or even no value at all.

I think if someone always seeks sure way of getting tokens etc, It's better to spent some small money and invest, maybe even following events, nowadays there's always requirement for small amount of money in order for you to gain much more.
It's like how in binance platform if you hold BNB you have bigger chance of getting some rewards in form of other tokens.
If it's airdrops and etc, of course many of them would have bigger chance of not paying for the simple fact that it's all trial and errors. It is known that majority of new projects are gonna be failing.
Therefore you shouldn't think too much of these airdrops and bounty in general.

No one could tell because they are the ones who would really know if they would be paying up or a legit one or just some scam project just disguising just to make themselves look legit and then
later on scam. We could even see some shit looking projects ending up on paying up its participants when it comes to bounty and there are legit looking ones ends up on becoming
a scam and this is why its really hard to point up fingers.Do they really pay? Yes they do but comparing the success percentage to those who got paid and to those who arent

In the past when there were lot of projects during ICO period we have chance to earn but not most of them will take lot of work from you and at the end either don't pay you off or you will get some tokens that will not have Market value at the time of selling.So for me it's not good choice to enter these bounty campaigns if you are looking to make some money as you won't make it.

yes, that's absolutely true. even if the question is "paying", then it's quite a lot of bounties that still pay and go to the wallet, however, there are not many bounties that pay their participants with coins that can actually be sold, especially the high-paying ones. Many people have researched that in 2022, it is very difficult to find a paid bounty that provides satisfactory results other than being paid using a stablecoin or with bitcoin.

of the many bounty programs that I have participated in since 2018, only a few did not pay project participants, for the various reasons they said. but there are more bounty projects that pay their participants than those that don't. I think bounties that don't pay their participants are just because they want to take advantage of the many people who work for them, or they are the bounty trying to deceive many people.

There are two things about this that I would like to point out. First of all, there is always a chance that you could have participated in the good ones and there could be plenty of bad ones out there, just because you didn't join the bad ones doesn't mean that they do not exist.

Secondly, there is paying and there is paying. What I mean by this is that, you could work for a month to get a bounty payment, and they can pay you with tokens, but one of them paid you tokens that worth 100 dollars and the other could pay you tokens worth 30 cents. If you are not getting proper payment, dollar worth being worth to your time, then you are not really paid, you were given free money that didn't cost anything to them.

Try to read and understand what I explained earlier, I did not say NOTHING !, but only a few of them tried to deceive the project participants.

The market has changed a lot, and we need to accept reality and find other ways to make money in the market instead of just clinging to old things that are no longer profitable. Earning free money from projects becomes very difficult even if you work hard, I think it is better to find an outside job than think that you will get income from participating in the bounty.

Some of them pay, and for bounty hunters to get their payout the bounty managers should escrow the allocation, if the team will be the one to manage the distribution there's a possibility that they will not keep their promise of distributing the bounty allocation at the specified time, and for the tokens to be distributed the crowdfunding should reach at least the soft cap.

I participated in many bounty campaigns and received some of the tokens after several months, some of the tokens I received have little value or no value at all because the developers left the project and they dump their tokens.
Participating in a bounty campaign is very risky it is like a gamble, and you have no guarantee that what you're doing is worth it.

In the past when there were lot of projects during ICO period we have chance to earn but not most of them will take lot of work from you and at the end either don't pay you off or you will get some tokens that will not have Market value at the time of selling.So for me it's not good choice to enter these bounty campaigns if you are looking to make some money as you won't make it.

It's so sad that the good days of earning decent profits is gone for goods I recall when I used to participate in ICOs media bounties especially Facebook and Twitter promotion my efforts and time really worth it then, now all those bounties are waste of time, I quitted bounty hunting few years back after participating a well hyped bounty campaign at the end token paid became worthless despite devoting so much time in the ICOs promotion, unfortunately the tokens is still in my wallet  worthless, I don't know how hunters who does bounties now earn any reasonable profits.

Sometimes they pay, even though if they pay or not, the tokens you will get would worth nothing because people just immediately dump the tokens/coins after they get the bounty payment right away and most of the people will do that so they can secure the earnings as close as the project "promised", but looking at current trends even searching the legit one is really difficult.

I don't think there's really a good paying bounty these days unless that project really pour in some good amount of money to promote. It's too rare these days, I think airdrop might have been profitable rather than grinding yourself to do bounties. Join on bounties that are managed by trusted and reputed forum members but that's not a guaranteed at all.

Bounty hunters if they want to keep doing this on their spare time need to put their foot down and ask for better conditions, after all they can spend months working before the bounty campaign ends and then they either do not get paid, their pay is reduced or they get paid with tokens without any value, and it is simply inexcusable that after months of work they do not receive what they were promised, but as long as they keep applying to those campaigns and accept that treatment then things are never going to change.

I think that shouldn't be the case if the project itself is good, such dumping could be avoided simply by vesting, I'd say there's always strategy to mitigate such dumping, but if the project itself have so low liquidity then it's only normal that it might gets massive dumping if it offers too much rewards in the first place.
There are still quite many airdrops and bounty that's really good but it's just very rare nowadays, you see aptos, etc, they are really good airdrops but then again such airdrops usually only comes once a year.

Actually, it will depend on what bounty it is. Commonly, the most bounty will pay the members with the rewards of their native token. But the big problem is that the token is not listed in the exchanges although we have received it in the wallet. This is why doing bounty is sometimes not worth. But sometimes, if we find out promising bounty with great projects, we can really earn a lot of money. But once more, this is not guaranteed. Bounty is now not really as promising and worthy as in the previous before it.

When we have a lower rank, using bounty to get more money is really difficult. Moreover, if it is the newbies to full members. Actually, there may be still many ways, but if it is about a signature campaign, the result is much different if we always see it in the spreadsheet.

It doesn't disappear entirely, but it doesn't give you profits or rewards, it's like they're dead. Participating in campaigns means we spend our time and energy at work without expecting anything in return, which is obviously a waste of our time. Not only bounty campaigns but every job in crypto should not be considered as a main job but just a part time job in your spare time.

In my opinion, find a real job outside to make money, after you have money, invest in bitcoin, so you can both earn from your work and make a profit from the market.

Yes, you just have to find the legitimate ones. Check for who manages the campaign 'coz good managers always target paying projects but there would still be cases wherein there are projects who just runs with their money after their token sale and that is I guess part of this blockchain given how anonymity is being used. But those would be rare especially if there is a well introduced project. Problem only I see nowadays is the forum rank requirement wherein those who has low forum rank would be limited to projects, but this is another side of the story. So regarding non-paying projects, always check for their whitepaper, how developers handle concerns and other possible hints, to know if your time would be wasted from participating into it.

It depends on the project and also the campaign manager and most times the kind of campaign one does. If we're talking about social media campaign, only a few of them pay while the rest don't even bother to pay hunters and most times when they do the tokens or coins are of no value in market. While for signature campaign, you can get a decent among from participating in it. I have been able to be part of a few both BTC campaign and altcoin campaign and I can say the payment I received for a two weeks campaign is more than what some hunters receive for some 8 to 12 weeks campaign. So Op if ever you want to partake in bounty then make sure it's signature campaign and nothing else.
