95% of them doesn't pay and owners just want free advertising to their project then leave if they failed or even succeed since they can't afford to list their tokens to be listed on expensive exchange. Also 5% chance that they paid but don't expect to get good pay cuts because mostly if they got listed on shit exchanges the value shrunk down because many of its early investors or words the devs are dumping it to secure their profits.

I'd say many bounties do pay their participants, but the payment they got doesn't always 100% like the beginning promise. Many projects promise the token is worth for $1 at the distribution rate and they will pay you for 75 token every week, so technically you will earn $75 for every week. It heavily depends on the bounty and the bounty manager (that's why bounties on bitcointalk are somewhat safer than the ones on Telegram).
Clearly there are many projects that don't intend to pay, hence only the ones with escrowed funds or reputable bounty managers worth any attention.

For some, they do and that's the reality in bounties. Some will become successful and will pay those eligible participants and there are much more bounties that becomes unsuccessful and there's no essence to them to pay their participants since they are already a failure, a failed project.

A bounty campaign taken up by a reputed member has more chances of being legit than that is taken up by some less known manager. Remember that you are trusting the manager's experience here to select a worthy project and weed out the bad ones. There are definitely good bounties out there that are still paying their participants regularly. I am part of one of those bounties for around a year or so now and there was not one payment missed so far. If you want to join a bounty campaign of a new altcoin project though, then there definitely is a pretty big risk of not getting paid and/or that the tokens that you will receive at the end of the bounty are worth absolutely nothing.
So in order to make some money with a bounty you need to do your research before. Don't just join the bounty that is offering the highest reward, because that is usually a bad sign. i guess the era of bounty programs are already over. very rare that you will encounter a successful project that will pay their bounty hunters on time and with the agreed token/coin price. but there are some users who are still joining these bounties hoping that they will get paid. but most of the time they are just wasting their time. better look for btc-paying campaign even if they are not paying much. at least you have an assurance that you will get paid and also the CMs are trustworthy for this kind of campaign.

Telegram is such a common medium for scammers to use and this is me not just talking about these bounties that are not paying, but also those scam in the site that I am freelancing though I had used it in some legitimate purposes.

If you find a right one, it pays. I've even made some money with telegram bounty. But that was because i was paying attention to the rules and won the first price .
Usually telegram bounties will get flooded by bots and are not worth it.

Just try to either find something that isn't already flooded with participants or the ones that pay fixed money with estabishled cryptocurrencies like btc, eth or bnb.

It depends on the success of the project. if you want to participate in the bounties, first you have to read their whitepaper. Then get an idea about the use case of the projects. If the project is already listed on the exchange, then there may some possibility to pay the bounty rewards.

I too remember this but who wouldn't be when this was one of the famous bounty back in the early 2017/2018 era (I guess?). People are rushing to join them and then slots are always full but I remember that their bounty was one of the hardest to join because you will need a desktop or laptop for this and then do some instructions which I find very hard that time.

I guess that's because I was also new in cryptos. Despite of their popularity, the coin still receives a lot of negative feedbacks which can be true because why will they collapse then? There are many campaigns still willing to pay you, but the problem is those tokens are not listed on the exchange, they have no value. Honestly, bounty projects are mostly junk projects, useless, even they can't live more than 2 months after launch or fail right from the start of ICO. We spend time and effort participating in bounty or airdrop campaigns, which is a waste of time. I would rather find an outside labor job to earn extra income than waste time on bonuses or airdrops these days.

In most cases, they don't, they'll just give you a bunch of shit coins stuck in your wallet, like forever.

But most trusted manager that's handling bounty camps do give a legit pay, it's either you have to accept the payment before or after the campaign is done. As far as I know referral campaigns are the one who is actively running on those telegram channels but I don't experience or saw anything other than that. Telegram platform is notoriously used by scammers and frauds in committing their act and people know how scammers utilize that messaging app. Don't waste your time into task that they are requesting. But most trusted manager that's handling bounty camps do give a legit pay, it's either you have to accept the payment before or after the campaign is done. If you compare it with now, bounty campaigns other than signatures will certainly have a small allocation, because the allocation for social media and other bounty campaigns is not too large and market conditions also do not allow it.

No, especially on telegram. All these bounty campaigns are either a scam or an attempt to increase the audience and attract some liquidity to a dead or new unknown project. Do not waste your time on it, much less your money. Any bounty campaign in which you are invited to participate is a potential scam or phishing attack, this has long been practiced in Discord. I think if someone always seeks sure way of getting tokens etc, It's better to spent some small money and invest, maybe even following events, nowadays there's always requirement for small amount of money in order for you to gain much more.
It's like how in binance platform if you hold BNB you have bigger chance of getting some rewards in form of other tokens.

Some of them pay, and for bounty hunters to get their payout the bounty managers should escrow the allocation, if the team will be the one to manage the distribution there's a possibility that they will not keep their promise of distributing the bounty allocation at the specified time, and for the tokens to be distributed the crowdfunding should reach at least the soft cap.

I don't think there's really a good paying bounty these days unless that project really pour in some good amount of money to promote. It's too rare these days, I think airdrop might have been profitable rather than grinding yourself to do bounties. It doesn't disappear entirely, but it doesn't give you profits or rewards, it's like they're dead. Participating in campaigns means we spend our time and energy at work without expecting anything in return, which is obviously a waste of our time. Due to bad market conditions no good quality manager is paying bounty in bounty section now. There are some new managers who manage the bounty in the bounty section by coding themselves. Maybe some investors invest there and later that campaign manager and campaign team stop the campaign. In some cases bounty managers are not guilty of this. It is because most of the projects these days are complete scams and they don't really plan to continue the project after all. When they start the community in telegram most of the time they were just hyping the community to gain a lot of investors, especially bounties where you promote the project and do your work and end up getting nothing. In my experience bounties really pays off but at the moment bounties are not worth it anymore to join these days because a lot of the projects don't really have the plan to be successful because the developers could still take the money even though the project does not continue. Even managers are avoiding them now because developers don't pay up at all at the end of the project.

Before now, bounty used to give money than even signature campaign but it got to a time that many of the bounties do end up becoming a rug pull that is why the interest of many participants had reduced.

you are right. Until now I am also still trying to support a project from a bounty in the hope that the project can be truly successful and pay the bounty hunters a decent fee. Some bounties are actually good, but before you can know a good and reliable bounties, you need to take note of the managers promoting the projects.

Agree. Most of the bounties just scam the participants, they never paid them. Only several bounties really pay the participants, and rarely paid with a good amount of money. Escrow doesn't guarantee payment, especially those unfamiliar escrow. But if BM put the payment on the familiar escrow service, the chance to get the payment is almost 100%. Despite the fact that you are trying to make a point here, I see this as off point. For every bounty, if you check the disclaimer note it says the bounty manager does not guarantee the success of the project. I actually agree that some bounty have little or no impact to the project but that should not be the reason for them not to pay the hunters. It's a risk on them. There is no agreement that they will not pay if the bounty fails to impact the project in the first place.

I remember participating in Shitcoin bounty... The CEO confess that there's no single sell during the period of the bounty but he still pays the hunters. Almost all of the bounties pay but they pay in their native token. Anyone can create a custom token with pennies so it's not a big thing. What really matters is which of the project really succeeds to monetise their tokens. Back in 2016-18 there were really good projects which have immense demand now so their bounty campaigns paid a good sum of money to their hunters.

Compared now, 1/1000 projects might succeed. Others end up defrauding investors, unsuccessful attemp or plenty other reaon so even after they pay, their value is nothing.

Almost all of the bounties pay but they pay in their native token. Anyone can create a custom token with pennies so it's not a big thing. What really matters is which of the project really succeeds to monetise their tokens. I think the golden times for bounties are higher. In 2018 - 2019, I joined a lot of them and some gave me a nice amount indeed but nowadays the prizepools are a lot lower and a lot become scam. IMHO, the best days of bounties was in 2016 and 2017. Those were the days that have a lot of batches of bounties and they were really crazy. Today still some of them pay well if the project goes beyond its expectation and becomes a success.

So it is gambling rather than get paid for work, I usually prefer not to be part of the projects with no success record. Not all bounties are paid, or pay participants as stated. Maybe you can see from the many projects launched, they don't pay participants according to what is written on the bounty board. But this condition really depends on the bounty manager. They often change the rules they have set. I found several managers who behave like that. Token doesn’t mater because of exchange. Many project distribution hunter token but if there token not get any exchange then it will be worthless. If you can participate exchangeable bounty then you will got some valuable token. But obviously you should forget before time where hunter was gainer.

It's not about telegram groups, because 90% of them are a scam. It's about bounties on Bitcointalk. Here the risk can be limited by the fact that you will only join campaigns run by trusted bounty managers. Preferably when the bounty pool is escrowed. Most bounties really pay. Why? because if bounty manager failed to pay his/her bounty workers how can he/she take new bounty campaigns? Or may be he/she get negative feedbacks and then people will not participated his next bounty campaigns.

I don't think that it is 50/50 chance for getting a payment for bounties. The chance is even lower because many of them are unlikely to pay whether they become successful or not.

But usually if they become successful, the chance is increasing but just take it that at most times they're the hardest to receive the reward that you should be eligible to receive.

A lot of new projects tend to be scam they are just active only during the promotion and if they had convinced investors to invest they closed upon reaching their target investment. The market isn't favoring many projects and those project getting affected are those that aren't very popular. Investors aren't investing in anyhow project because they're scared that the tokens will not survive the bear market. They're only investing in top projects for now because those project can't scam them. When this low volume altcoins will do very well will be when we'll have the altcoins bull market.
But the altcoins season is not happening next year because bitcoin first have to have it's bull market before altcoins can benefits from the market. Bounty are low volume project so they're not getting trading volume or getting listed on top exchanges that's why it looks like you're wasting your time promoting bounties. The strategy that you can use to get money from bounties is to promote as many as you can.
Then you have to hold the tokens until we get into altcoins season then wait on them to get some hype and you sell your tokens. How you can get good rewards from every project for free where you don't get guaranteed profit from investment. Those projects that actually come to the market to do a real business and run Bounty on this forum and the project team is honest enough they definitely distribute rewards. This the same question was asked by me to a friend in my locality. But one thing which I will never do is to follow bounty hunters, and airdrop in telegram. Telegram is a Media of fraudsters so you have to avoid it with maximum way. Because in that place the saying comes to place "If you can't beat them you join them". I can't really say that they don't pay totally, maybe you should look out for the bounty manager and sort fit his prior campaign history before shilling heaven and earth for nothing at the end of the day.

Their are bounty managers that once you see them managing a particular project, you just know that they will pay. But the take you be that once you're accepted into a particular bounty, just follow them up in that first week as they are most likely to pay and if they don't pay after then, you know that you've at least gained from them.

Back in 2017 even Jr Members and Members could earn a good amount from bounties. I participated in a few gambling related bounties myself. After the ICO hype died down there wasn’t as many good bounties available. There is also better methods of distribution for new projects nowadays. Instead of giving away tokens to spammy, low rank forum users and their 10 alt accounts they can partner with DEXs to offer high APYs for providing liquidity and staking on their platform.

Most of the bounties campaign give money to its users as a result of their good job but some of them are not ready to allow money to its users as a prizes. I was previously a part of many bounties Compaign and I earned good sum of money from these bounties but I am in opinion that as people are expecting that every bounty created by any manager will pay them so they have wrong concept.

Join bounties but remember that before joining visualize about the creators and if the person is not trustable then he will not pay you otherwise every other bounties with good reward are acceptable by everyone.
