This is my first post, I know sometimes we can be ignorant of what we're doing thinking we are right, I will love to know if mentors are assign to guide us? over our posts to avoid violating the forum rules and regulations.

Personally am here to learn more than doing what I don't know how to do best. Although Cryptosystem community is very large one which you can not learn everything at once but with you guys here, sure going to learn enough about bitcoin, Bitcoin wallets, transactions, mining and trading, market situations and policies.

The forum rules are very basic and should be easy to understand; unless you don't understand English that much.

As for learning about Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies, there are so much free information online. And if there are stuff you don't understand, you can easily consult Google or ask questions here. Mentorships in this case are totally unnecessary.

Nobody is really going to act as a mentor to spell out the forum’s rules or else. You can however search around the ample amounts of information there is on a given topic, and ask whatever you wish, and people will normally chip-in.

In general terms though, it may prove to be better to perform the said exercise of searching around first, not only to avoid duplicity, but to enable you to build-up a better context through which to better contribute or ask around the forum.

It is the same thing as telling someone to put their money where their heart is. If your heart is not convinced to invest into a project, do not do it even after you have done enough research on it.

No there are no assigned mentors to guide anyone. You could always create a thread if you confused about something and have researched on it but gotten no answer yet, there would be lots of members willing to help out.
You can also use the PM option to ask questions, but I would not advice it, since you're new and members either cannot receive PMs from you or you could abuse the PM rules and get banned.

No mentors assigned here since not everyone can able to teach people what they need to learn. It self learning study so you need to read the contents which has been posted by other member and you can learn more ideas about many things about crypto with those post. But you can post a question here if you don't understand what you are researching and many people will post their answer or experiences to the thread you created.

You dont need one but you could always follow or check post of some prominent members here that are very good in guiding beginners. Observed their post and how they interact in the forum. Everybody has equal rights here regardless of ranks. You could try asking someone to guide you but I doubt they will focus on lecturing you alone cause its not a school. You could consider it but the massive information you are gonna learn here comes from the general and not only by specific people.

The idea of mentorship isn't all that appreciated here, Bitcoin is a do it yourself kinda network, thus the forum is along that same line. Well everything has been made pretty easy, all you need do is search and research and you will find whatsoever you are looking for, then you can read it and garner knowledge. In any aspect you need clarification on, you basically make a new post about it, and users will help you out, there is absolutely no need for any individual mentor or coach.

Having said that, you've brought yourself out as a noob, so be careful of PM's from anybody offering to be your mentor, it might just be a scam, remember you have a responsibility to learn how to protect yourself/your funds.

Yes I know there is provision for new accounts to be whitelisted by some chosen members for free. But why do new members have to go through all that at all. My account was done freely when i registered. I believe it was the same thing for those who registered before I did in 2017. Alot of people will say that what is charged is nothing of much stress to those paying it because it is little payment but they forget that if gathered together that is a lot of cash.

If you need the service of a mentor you can hire one as this is not real life where you have the chance to follow someone else pattern of doing things and you call it mentorship.
But here in the forum there is nothing like assigning mentors to each new member, my best advice on mentorship in the forum is that you should discover a member of the forum whose pattern of writing and idea you like and you can follow them even without them knowing that you are under the mentorship as long as you don't disobey the rules of the forum.

It's a crude solution to a problem.
Ban evasion is against the rules, so when an account gets banned some units of evil is associated with the IP of that account, when the units of evil gets too high, all accounts created from that IP would be blacklisted and not be able to post, to discouraged banned accounts from creating new ones.

It is a poor solution cause banned users can find their way around the IP restrictions or pay the fee to enable posting on the account, but honest new members are unlikely to pay to use a forum they have never been on before and would even think they are being scammed.
Hence the users who can whitelist for free.

I used to assume that every device that is connected to the internet has its own unique IP. How come people share the same IP even when they are very far apart? I have noticed that my IP used to change sometimes when I get mails from some websites am subscribed to. It is slight change and if you do not look deeply you can miss the change. That means this distortion in IP is what makes new users share the same IP with banned accounts or any other reason?

You should not look at it that way.

Maybe the donations have not been coming for sometime and the best thing will be to stop it publicly. Except those who control this forum tell us why it was stopped we are got going to know why it happened.

You have been looking at the forum in wrong perspective as there are some experienced and knowledgeable memeber who can help you in clearing your doubts or sharing useful information through different threads but you also need to take active part in such discussions.

You have been provided with rules of forum and some links to resources by @mk4 through which you can have knowledge about bitcoin stuff but only if you are interested in doing it as this is not some paid group where you will get lectures rather it's open discussion forum.But if you want to search for any thread do it like this :

Well,I don't think there is any mentor assigned to anybody as far as bitcointalk discussion forum is concerned,I think the forum is open to everyone to choose anybody whom he seems it fit to be his mentor.Every one is here learning, nevertheless,some persons are ahead in knowledge about Bitcoin than some,and that is why it is good to have some one who will teach you what to do,and how to trade in other to make profit or gain in the forum.It is good that one should always read and follow someone they feel he's good enough to be a mentor to them.

We don't have mentors assigned for this function but we have moderators which are on each boards to regulate moderacy from members by deleting posts that are off topic or moving them appropriately to the right board, you can get reported to them or you also report someone as well, they also perform the function to ban any user going against the forum's rules and regulations.

You don't need a mentor to guide you on your posting, this forum has it's rules and you need to read them yourselves, at first, I thought you are talking about a crypto investor mentor or someone very good at crypto trading.

Things to look out for

1. If your post is deleted then you post a shitpost, meaning the post or thread you created doesn't make any sense.
2. If you talk about Food in Bitcoin discussion section, it will be moved to off-topic, so post about bitcoin in bitcoin discussion section and post about altcoins in altcoins sections.
3. Make sure your post is very constructive, and do not copy from another websites and paste here, that's plagiarism, and this will get your account banned.

There are no such positions as mentors here stead we have moderators that help keep the forum sections in check against unhealthy and poor posts. The only mentor you can have here are the forum rules which will guide you on the dos and don't of the forum so I'll advise you spend quality time to read through carefully as some forum user's have giving you links to the rules of the forum and others articles that could groom your crypto trading skills, cause from your post the money to start isn't your issue but rather it's the lack of the skills to trade that's your major concern right now.
