Sri Lanka had food shortages due to a collapse in the economy and currency value.  They gave 1 day off to all government employees to grow their own food, this was often done in wars by nations unable to trade properly and with the obvious loss of working age men/women it was a requirement.
  The other factor is fertilizer usage, techniques and general technology advancement such as machines help make farms more productive.    Crypto wouldnt be part of that exactly but anything which improves the flow of currency and investment locally not just to western based economies biased; this is probably a good thing for the world and its productive capacity.

Food shortages have being a big problems in the global world today where tremedious things are happening people finds it difficult to buy food especially,rice products,climate change has devastated  the whole global world where crops can no longer do well in the farming system,believe with this new information about the crypto space can  our climate change system be put together where there will be high rate of food shortages in the global world as a new beginner I want to know we can fix this things I mentioned.

Current climate change is very influential on agricultural products, even in most areas experiencing crop failure. This resulted in a food crisis in various countries. The weather is currently not good, some areas are experiencing flooding which causes crop failure, others are experiencing drought which also has an effect on crop failure. Of course the government will rely on imported products whose prices are of course much higher than local products. But we cannot avoid it, we will automatically incur high costs for staples. But we don't understand the relationship between climate and crypto. But the current existence of crypto can help with high spending costs. Regardless of how one makes money from it.

Those who want to survive food shortages will always find ways to find or make food. Lazy and unproductive people will surely die o hunger. We can produce crops and vegetables through planting. There are some areas that are impossible to plant but there are also other alternatives to it. We only have to be strategic because we can't rely on the government alone during the famine as what most of us have experienced during the pandemic crisis. Productivity and creativity will always be the answer.

I will endure because I am ready. If you're not prepared for a food shortage and also don't really care about what's really going on, it's better to do it sooner rather than later. Hunt, raise livestock and vegetables or stockpile MRE. And it's a good plan that involves a combination of all three.
don't worry too much about the situation that is happening because there is already a government that will regulate and do it, and all you have to think about is yourself and you have to think smart and also be independent. And you also have to have another or side job and have to work if you don't work, because by having additional income you won't be short of food and use it wisely, especially in buying food for your provisions. Because you can't do anything if that's the problem due to global factors or other factors, and what's needed is that you have to be smart and also independent to solve it.

There are many things that can cause food shortage which we need to take a look at because this will help to solve problems related to it or that can trigger it for a long time.

-Natural disaster
-War: Russia/Ukraine war leading to shortage of wheat production, gas, etc.
-Industrialization
-Polution

These are the few I can list that can cause food shortage, we need to look into these cause so we can plan on how to avert there existence to ensure continue food supply to different region of the world.

Surviving is a human nature, like how you describe things even in the place where planting is not really being practice but due to food shortages people create designs to let the plants grows, it's all in the mindset that you wanted to survive and continue your life, those who died due to starving are really helpless and they accept their fate without anything that they can do.

We can't really control everything, but we can find ways. As long as we are still alive, we need to continue surviving from day to day.

I do not understand the relationship of cryptocurrency with the climate change you mean, can you explain in detail and what type of links you mean. Climate change and the relationship of food sources may have an interconnected level of influence, but if the relationship with cryptocurrency is completely irrelevant, although maybe what you mean is Bitcoin mining.

And this is where importation would kick or sets in and if a certain country couldnt be able to produce for example on having that rice which we do know that it is really something needed for day to day meals on most countries then the government wouldnt really be having no choice but to accept out importation into those countries who do supply the most or having that abundant supply. In our country, the government will import goods if there is a shortage because they can't control the price when there is a shortage. What the government should focus on is supporting the farmers about the fertilizer and the roads so that they can easily deliver their harvest to the market, as their harvest will be rotten before arriving at the market due to road conditions. Also, a lot of farmers right now are quitting because of very expensive fertilizer, from which they can't get enough profit.

The beneficiary is certainly there in this case. Because if neither party has a clear advantage, no party will do this and basically the farmers also expect a better income from their agricultural produce besides expecting their food needs from the crop. I think now is the time for the farmers themselves to change the way they grow crops so that they no longer experience the same thing by being hindered by cheap prices from competition for imported food.

The trick is to grow food that is slightly different from what they normally grow, although that doesn't mean they have to change everything for that, because the food that they usually consume themselves must also continue to be grown so they don't have to buy food elsewhere to eat. So the other foodstuffs that they grow can be sold at a slightly higher price if there are a lot of demanders and there is no price competition from food from abroad. Whereas what they usually plant can be used for daily consumption so spending money for their own life can be more efficient.

Also, a lot of farmers right now are quitting because of very expensive fertilizer, from which they can't get enough profit.

This is what is happening in my village. The area I live in is a village with a tradition of farming, but in recent years, due to the harsh weather, the crops have failed. Fertilizer prices skyrocketed, making us no profit or even loss, so many people had to quit their jobs and move to the city to find work. I have a feeling that the government is hardly interested in farmers' life, they always propagate in the mass media that they will support to promote the development of the agricultural industry, but we have not received the support yet over the years.
If this situation is not remedied, I believe that food prices will continue to rise higher in the future, when the government only focuses on industry and ignores agriculture.

All you guys are blame to the government for not supporting the farmers, their jobs aren't only to support poor people because they do have limited money and if they print new money, the country will suffer high inflation rate.

I believe any government have been trying to support the farmers and local manufactures, but the main problem is the farmers and those poor people are taking advantages over the donation! those greedy people are really love to corrupt the government's money.

Since the government can't ask the farmers and local manufactures to produce a lot foods, it's better for them to import from the other countries which offer cheaper prices, I don't see anything wrong about this.

Do you really think those shit project have an actual yard and used to grow plants? those agriculture farm have been exist before the project begin, the project used that in order to convince investors if they're real. If you think they're helping the agriculture farming by donating their fundraising money, you're wrong because the reason why the developers create the project to make money, they're not stupid.

the biggest factor of the food crisis is because every day in all corners of the earth agricultural land continues to decrease. many agricultural lands have turned into housing complexes or industrial factories that continue to grow rapidly. while the agricultural sector is declining. Even today, very few young people have the desire to become farmers.

I know natural disasters, wars and inflation are also other causes of food crises. but I think the biggest causative factor is that many have been forgotten. namely the agricultural sector rarely gets special attention either from the government or from the community itself.

Stock up dry food/canned food first if you don’t have enormous cash in your disposal. Canned foods stay good for years, they don’t go bad easily unless you store them in a very wrong way.

Your second option is buying farm land, small gardens and grow your own food. This takes time and effort and it is like having another job. If you somehow got a big land, you can hire somebody else to do the job for you.

Third option: Buying food/farm stocks. Anything related to manufacturing food will go up in a crisis situation. Water too. Clean water is vital.

I can’t think of any other preparations.
