Nature provides water, land for us to grow crops and produce food. But the fact is that currently all buildings, factories and springs are running low. I don't know how to put it, but I don't think there will ever be a situation like this. If you believe the theory of human evolution, which is from monkeys, then there's a theory that I would like to share with everyone.
Every living organism gets adapt to its surroundings. If the climate change ever occurs to the point of life forms being in danger, over time it will get used to the change and mutate accordingly. Another evolution will happen.

If people really want to they could do it, they only need small space for small pots to plant vegetables.
I've seen an apartment before that have pots of eggplants and some veggies that hasn't grown yet so I am unsure what other veggies it might be infront of their apartment.
The only downside that I see on this is that it would take time but at least you know that what you would eat is freshly harvest by yourself.

How to survive? You would really be just simply needing money and you're good to go. Money is everything nowadays on which you could buy all the things you do want.
