I don't think, Bitcoin price will crash this year like the way it crash last year that made many traders to experience bearish season through out the year. This year 2023, I think Bitcoin price will pump higher till 2024 ending before it will crash to allow both long term traders and short term traders to buy Bitcoin and hold for another bullish to come before they can sell to make a huge amount of money from their investments. Investing in Bitcoin is more favourable than others cryptocurrencies because whenever Bitcoin price is pumping other cryptocurrencies will be pumping too.

Hey a few things to tell your friend. Bitcoin crashed several times, it is when Bitcoin had to pull back after the huge pump. There's no way an asset is consistently pumping, that's impossible to happen as people are either trading with other crypto, selling or buying Btc. Bitcoin is a highly volatile asset and it's normal to see huge spikes in it's prices.
Also, you can show him the historical data of Bitcoin price since late 2009, for him to have a picture how far Bitcoin have come.

You don't have to convince him , for what? what if He is right that bitcoin will collapse ? then you will be the one taking all the blame? let him learn how and what bitcoin is ,. if he is truly to be inside crypto then let time bring that mate , we cannot please everybody as we cannot force them to invest in what we are believing , it is their money and it is their decision.

Yes, I don't see any reason to convince him or anyone else about bitcoin, it just wastes time and gives us no benefit. If he really wants to invest in bitcoin, he should educate himself about it because if invests in bitcoin, then that profit is his, not yours. You won't even be able to get a thank you later, so don't try to waste time. It's his chance, he can choose to take it or not, let him decide, and instead you can continue on your investment journey. Don't worry too much about things that don't benefit you.

Yes this year it is meant for Bitcoin ms to grow only, so there is no way it’s possible that it will go down. If you see the historical 4 year graph charts, then definitely this year, the price has to grow. This has happened already, so yes Bitcoins are known for repeating the history. Moreover we have already seen positive attitude from the coins starting this month, again we have good traders who has great knowledge and predicted Bitcoins will reach or atleast recover its price. Now let’s see and hope for the best.

I agree with this, I do not think that it will crash at all, not this year at least. We have a cycle which goes round and round and one day it will go up, and then it will crash, then go up again and so forth, it will keep doing that.

I believe that we already gone down enough, it has been over a year of us going down and I believe that we are going to end up doing something much better at the current stage in the long run, it is not going to be an easy decision at all, but it would be something that could take a while in the long run as well. I am not saying it should be something much higher, doesn't need to break ATH, but it will not be any lower than 2022 for sure.

If you think that a crash would dissuade you from investing then you should avoid it. I have been here for 3 big crashes, all of which was bigger than %80 price drops, and for me they were alright because I knew that it would recover, if you can't trust bitcoin even after a %80 drop in price, then do not invest into it. If you want to invest, learn that its going to drop time to time, maybe not now, but it will happen again in the future, and you should be able to profit from those drops.

Majority of people specially noobs or to those who are just new on which they do believe that this market does really have that continous price increase or rising when it comes to its behavior which is really that

from the OP's situation, he doesn't need to convince a person who is not willing to listen. better mind his own business because if something goes wrong with his funds, he will blame him. in this market, much better if you just mind your own, rather than convincing anyone to invest on this market. they should invest here voluntarily and know the risks they are getting into.

There would be no crash that will happen overnight.

No one can convince you if bitcoin is trusted but it's all about you. Do your DYOR and conclude things after that.

Even if we say Bitcoin can be trusted, will you trust us? Therefore, make your own research rather than depending on other's statement.

We have been done with the bottom already, that is what I see. And base on the previous bear season, it usually takes a year before it recovers and it was already been 1 year past, so I think this year the price of Bitcoin will start to increase just like what happened in the previous years. Accumulations seem to continue until before the next bull season, it still has enough time to get prepared and fill our bag.

Bitcoin is also like Crypto in general where price movements are determined by the market, I mean for example when the market is in a bearish period it will make bitcoin prices fall because it is usually caused by panic selling factors which make prices fall, but if you invest in bitcoin for the long term you will not you need to worry about the price of bitcoin falling, because so far bitcoin has been proven to be able to bounce back every time it goes down and when a bull market occurs there is a possibility that the price will experience a massive pump and can bring bitcoin to a new ATH.

There is a lot to be said on this topic, but if you are a beginner and don't know much about bitcoin the best way to impress your friend is to let him look at the history of bitcoin, or the price chart.

He can easily see how many times the price of Bitcoin has fallen and then came back after a period much stronger than it was before.

He will also easily see that Bitcoin has one bullish trend in the long term, only this one thing apart from all the other big advantages of Bitcoin can give your friend confidence.

I know that it is not a happy thought that it will eventually crash, but after every new ATH we end up with a new crash.

OP could tell their friend that it will not crash anytime soon and it will go up first, but eventually it will crash again one day, and a big one at that, at least 50%+ crash, it just has to happen in order for market to have this cycle.

It is also necessary for the OP to convey how volatile the crypto market is in addition to explaining the greatness of Bitcoin that makes it the best asset for investment.
If they only convey how the benefits for the sake of the benefits that will be obtained, we fear that they will blame the person who conveyed when something unexpected happens later. This may sound general, but I think it's necessary.

Yes, even if we are convinced that we have taken the right decision by adopting bitcoin, we cannot really force anyone else to take the same decision we have taken, it is better for each person to realize on their own that adopting bitcoin is a good decision for them, now this could mean they could adopt bitcoin many years later and miss several bull markets, but that is on them, at the time they will lament the fact that they did not adopt bitcoin earlier but the truth is that they were simply not ready to do it back then.
