I have been thinking that maybe they are doing this to avoid the trolls, but if that is the case this is a huge mistake as many other casinos also receive a lot of false accusations and yet they do not give up on the forum because of them.

I do think that leaving the forum may not damage the overall reputation of the owl.games site but definitely the gamblers from bitcointalk will certainly not like this act and may refrain from playing at this site.

Some of the bitcointalk audience may avoid this casino as they see they have left the forum but some will still continue to play if they face no issues at the site.

The important thing is that owl.games should process the withdrawals timely and also resolve gamblers' query through their site and may not give unnecessary delays.

Owl game teams have not done well this time, and if things continue this way, gamblers will avoid the casino in totality this will not only affect the traffic their will also lose their loyal customers and also destroy the image owl casino already build for itself.
I threw a few tickets on the support and it's over 5hours am yet to get feedback from them, this was just to test the time it takes for someone to get help through the support but the truth is they're way too slow to respond.

Maybe the team waited for another accusation before settling your problem mate lol  

as OP had already got His confiscated funds after creating this thread though OWL site had a previous advertising here in Bitcointalk and seems to be paying their advertisers.

I can't find the accusation you're talking about, unless you're referring to this case, OWL Coin - Malware in the wallet [DO NOT DOWNLOAD]!!! which was kinda solved with someone with malicious intent deliberately re-create an ANN with a different wallet link containing a virus, and not the same project --far as I know-- as that accusation was open and shut in 2019 while owl.games thread just started by late 2021.

However, I am interested to know more so I can hopefully better understand whether their decision to stop pause their response here is justified or not

This is true but we should consider too that they just joined the forum few years ago to promote and its understandable if they didn’t want to become more active here if they want to focus on their casino customer support to answer all the issue to save money on hiring someone that will watch their thread 24/7. I mean Bitcointalk forum announcement thread is not a mandatory for a casino to become trusted since there’s still a lot of crypto casino that is not active or doesn’t have ANN thread here.

As a business owner. It’s just an additional expenses to hire someone who will moderate their thread here especially if they don’t have enough resources for that kind of expenses since they are just a startup like Betfury that is mot active too on answering questions here in the forum. They just post announcement then ignore all the shit discussion on their thread.

Sometimes things just go that way to be rough most times and not forever as we know life is not a bed of roses. Owl games have been a reliable casino but of lately, the decision taken by the owl team to locking their thread is not the utmost solution to their predicament for the time being. I expected them to have come up plain informing the platform of their current challenges if possible then telling us their next actions so we could relate very well while they still exist and remain active here which is better rather than locking their thread preventing members from making comments and that is not a good signal. Like you have said, if they are not happy with the platform, atleast that is enough reason for the team to have stated it clear so that things would be sorted out immediately and if there are any differences, it will be addressed too but now they took actions themselves without considering the large number of followership they already enjoy here do you not think it would have side effects in their casino? This alone would make members withdrawing from them as they are likely to abscond with members fund.

That is freedom and of gambling and gambling is a free platform if you are above the stipulated age of 18+, so those who are interested to patronize 1xbit even though they are scammed or they are hearing that others are scammed, it is their business. Actually it is the choice of each person to choose his casino and there is no compulsion whatsoever in that. But when they get into trouble from that scam casino, they should know the risks of playing at it and not complain to people. Maybe this has caught your attention? Your decision of leaving them might be right. The constant losses that you felt might be a sign or a start that their casino is now starting to go bad.

They know their reasons for their decision to leave, but without a doubt I also think it is weird, after all opening and maintaining an ANN thread is free, so it is not like they were spending a massive amount of money to keep their thread open.

So they are giving up on a big source of free advertising just so they can more effectively conduct their customer service, to me this does not make sense but I have never owned a casino, so maybe this makes sense in some way I am not aware.

Because they are being paid to advertise it. User the promoting 1xbit are those who doesn’t have any opportunity to join on other campaign because they already ruined their reputation in exchange for the money.

The forum admin doesn’t moderate scam which is why forum member is free to advertise as they are not violating the rules. Money can control the PoV of a person so I’m not surprised that there will more user that will promote 1xbit in an event that they will pay more for the participants in long run.

They had some issues of their players unresolved and that was leading the players to open scam accusations against them, but surprisingly, instead of resolving the issues and standing firmly against the accusations and solving them, they decided to just silently leave the forum with an excuse that they want to improve their customer service on the website, which basically has nothing to do with their presence on the forum.

Owl had created these trust issues themselves by doing this. If they stayed on the forum, and solved the issues like the one where they confiscated the funds worth 0.1 BTC and just resolved the issue recently, if they did this earlier, they could stay on the forum with grace and face all the questions and accusations.
