Astar is currently the best crypto to invest in. I have a good amount invested in it. ASTAR Coin is a layer 1 blockchain, it has many good features, one of them is the most popular Smart contracts in Japan. Moreover, there are many other coins, such as: Bnb, eth, sol etc.

at this point, ethereum should be the first choice, just forget the other, when coin like ethereum is undervalued because of the dumping few months back you know that accumulating it is quite best idea.
because its far from all time high therefore if you make entry when its at the most cheapest price then even if it did recover a bit you already made fortune.
while the other altcoin might seem to pick your interest, i think the only deserving of investment are the ones thats just released and gets listed, that if you could acquire some share before even it get listed then you gonna make profit otherwise you're might already be too late.
this is why i'd recommend ethereum at any day compared with the other altcoins.

Everyone must understand that Bitcoin is the most recommended coin for investment because the price history shows that Bitcoin always creates another ATH in each bullrun season. While altcoins, not each altcoin can create a new ATH in every bullrun season, there are some altcoins that never reached again their ATH and some even disappear. When you want to invest into crypto and you are justifying that you have little knowledge, you're not yet there and you need to gain more. any kind of investment has its own risks even entering the btc market can be potentially risky depending on the knowledge and skills one has but i would say it’s the safest bet of them all don’t misinterpret this investing in btc will not immediately give you profit but in the long run especially with the approaching bull run soon

I won't doubt you about this particular thought as it's one that have been working for lots of short term trader during this period. quite opposite i think despite halving and etf news which supposedly increasing dominance of both these coins you mentioned it might instead also helps other altcoin to go up.
the thing with increasing dominance for btc and eth is that they usually get those additional market capitalization from these altcoins but right now you see the market altcoins are having good rally right now and I think ETF and halving will only make the market getting better and better attracting flow of investments that increase in dominance doesn't necessarily need to make altcoins dominance decrease.
the key is more and more flow of investments because of the good news floating around and then the market will thrive even better than in previous bullruns.
I personally have bagged majority bitcoin and ethereum because ETF but i also can't ignore the altcoin that increase massively.

I also think that a good choice for the OP is bitcoin. Anyway, people who want to invest in crypto, and lack knowledge just need to choose the best coin in crypto, namely bitcoin. If you still have little knowledge about crypto and don't want to do your own research, my advice is to still choose BTC investment as your main choice because it is clear that you will get profits in the future. Almost all crypto players make BTC their main choice rather than investing in altcoins.

But if you already have BTC and your knowledge about crypto has increased, there's no harm in trying to invest in altcoins because there are so many altcoins that have a bright future like BTC. Maybe you could try investing in ETH and BNB altcoins.
