I think what's relevant to the question is that Binance has as case against SEC now, so obviously, it's native token is being hit hard because of this. Well, it's somehow normal that altcoins are having their own problems and it's not that surprising anymore especially the top performing altcoins such as ETH, BNB, ADA. But regarding to the question asked by the OP, nobody can give a concrete answer whether if it's a good time to buy BNB now or should you wait some time like when the prices will go down. If I were on your shoes OP, now is the best time to invest while it's still cheap because I'm somehow positive that BNB will rise again when the bull comes.

Never doubt BNB, it's the native token of the Biggest crypto exchange in the platform. That's why buying BNB is never be a question to begin with and since it was down from its ATH during the bull market, it is good to buy at this kind of market sentiments. You can add also the FUD it cause for binance to set low backs this days but never afraid to buy because of FUD, buy it because the price is cheap. No matter how big a company is, if they get into legal trouble they can collapse in an instant. Judging something is not that easy, you need to consider many other things. Even though Binance is the largest crypto exchange, don't easily put all money on it. Likewise to buy BNB, consider the other side before giving advice to buy. Instead, invite others to do their own research so they don't blame the adviser for making a purchase. Always remember about Nokia, they was really big before blackberry and Android going popular.

My guess is it will go lower than 250$. Binance won’t collapse. But the current law suit will hurt the company for at least a few years.  Then who knows what will happen after that? Maybe there will be other companies taking over the place of Binance, or dex will outperform cex. if you really  want to invest it, try DCA.
