Sprint race has also been left behind. It looks like there was a chaotic start at the beginning. The podium didn't change. Ricciardo did a really wonderful job by maintaining his position during the sprint race.    He did a quite good job with keeping Sainz behind for so many laps. However it looks like Ricciardo has a 3-place grid penalty left from the Chinese Grand Prix to be applied in the race tomorrow.



Guys don't forget to make your predictions before qualifying session. By the way in the last season we had to make them before sprint races on sprint weeks. But it looks like this has changed on Superbru this season.

Yes it has changed,I just saw that I needed to enter my picks before official qualifying which is tonight at 22 PM European time.It is great that this has changed as I saw the performance of the drivers during the sprint race which helped me decide how to go for my picks for qualification and race to follow tomorrow.I hope we will see a good race as most drivers are performing well,even Ricciardo was so high in top 4 during the race,the small sprint race.Let's see how qualifying will fold out and for the weather no tricks are expected,much different than in Europe where is changing like crazy from 30 degree Celsius to less than 10 degree making us all a bit not OK  .

It is good to see Ricciardo on an unconventional level not only because he is in the top 10,(WK), but also because of how he takes the situation, his radio communications are humorous.

I already made my selections based on Sprint practices and they will stay that way.

So nothing really changed in the qualifying with Verstappen doing first again yet I am happy with what I saw from the Ferrari pace during this official qualifying,they are 2nd and 3rd and this upgrade they have made is not final,I will check how they will do in the race and if they manage to be 2nd and 3rd in the race and the distance to Verstappen to not be that big of a distance then most likely I would be really hopeful when the full upgrade they will have at Imola,maybe we can see some other team fighting for victories in the true meaning of a battle and not sporadic wins like that of Sainz in Australia which was due only to Verstappen car failure.

I'm glad to see a bit of strong pace from Ferrari but I'm really tired to see Max dominating race after race and to be honest , this dominance of RedBull will be gladly welcomed when it's over and I have a feeling Redbull won't win anything for a very very long period after and that should be the way. We can see how Mercedes are doing after 8 years of dominance right ? They barely can make it into Q3 into qualifiers and they barely have a great race pace to actually overtake a Haas car.

Also , just go on social media and read the comments...because more than 70% are about fans being angry about RedBull dominance because it's literally killing the sport and what is the point for a true fan to actually watch a race where he knows from the start who is going to win ? I've also read that the viewership on some countries are on the lowest that they ever been and it's simply because of RedBull. ( I have nothing against Max and I admit is one unique driver with unique skills and most likely we will never witness a Max 2.0 but winning without competition is like running solo everytime on 100 meters so that's why everyone wants to see Max vs Charles vs Norris/Piastri or even Alonso ).

We also have a problem with F1 stewards that apply the rules for whoever they want in which manner they want and this should not be allowed as it makes F1 very political... ( I'm an F1 hardcore fan and seeing my favorite sport being butchered little by little is not funny at all ).

The first pole position for Max Verstappen in Miami, if nothing tragic happens Max will win the race. The second position should go maybe to a Ferrari, but Perez still has some work to do, the car simply has to perform better. Mercedes have taken a step backwards with their updates, but Ferrari have definitely made up time on Red Bull, which is very good, even if it's not enough to beat Max.

Extremely happy for Lando first and secondly that my team won a race,that is absolutely amazing.I still can't believe McLaren executed such a good race without a single error and the Safety Car definitely gave them the luck needed to come first yet with the performance seen by Lando I am sure that after Safety Car,even he started behind Max he would have catch him and overtake him.

For the pool I doubt anyone has made more than 15-16 points,I think if nothing changes I have made a nice 12.5 points because if someone has made more than 16 points I don't know how on earth they can have done it,although that Hamilton 6 and Russell 8 maybe gave them such a big boost.

Without that safety car Piastri most likely would have won the race by doing on the circuit and not being helped by external factors like Safety Car or Max who suddenly had no grip or couldn't turn the car anymore...but this sport will always deliver stories like this and Norris deserved a win in F1 way before this race but I'm glad he finally achieved one of his dreams. Now , I'm sure both Norris and especially Sainz just woke that version of Piastri that will make him simply unbeatable when he is racing anyone besides Verstappen. The kid is someone you don't want to poke when you race alongside him or against him.

Very well done by Lando, of course a bit of luck was involved with the safety car, but it's good to see McLaren at the front again.

Nobody expected Norris to win, so the points are very modest with a maximum of 14 in this round, and nobody expected Piastri to set the fastest lap either, but that keeps things exciting.

Interesting and close round, where Lando Norris had a lucky safety car, got in front of Verstappen and drove very well. Verstappen did not had any chance to catch Lando Norris.
Good drive from him and it's also nice to see someone different from Max Verstappen winning.
I'm very grateful for winning a free bet and compliments to @sportsbet for making such a contest possible.

Norris was lucky not only because of safety car pit stop that he made - there was also error from safety car - they catched not race leader Norris, but Verstappen and then they had to fix this mistake. So, Norris got over 30 seconds advantage instead of 18. Anyway, still happy for him, wait for his first win was way too long. Even Verstappen looked happy for him.
Don't want to critisize Perez much, but his mistake in 1st turn after start ruined him whole race.

Well congratulations to the winners of the pool and contest!.

Im very happy for Lando Norris, if one driver of the current grid deserve a win was him, he has worked so hard for it and for some unlucky circunstance never achieved the goal, but yesterday the planets were aligned and he took his first win.

My main question from yesteday was the poor performance made by Perez, fightin with a...... Mercedes....

I really messed up this week.    I was expecting Norris to be on podium and put him to the 3rd position. To be honest I never expected him to win the race.    That SC really changed everything. Norris showed his best performance to get his first win in his career. Anyways it is still nice to be in top 10 but I need to play bigger for winning yellow caps. This is the only way to get closer to top positions in the leaderboard.

Now we have a one-week break before Emilia-Romagna.

Was Lando Norris lucky in Miami? 
I watched him giving interviews after the race was finished and he was so happy like little kid, you can see this was his dream.
He is not 24 years old, with 83 points collected in this season, and I think there is a bright future for him in Formula 1.
I cant say I expected him to be on podium but I didnt have time to watch any trainings and qualifications results.

Due to the subsequent demotion of Sainz by one position, the points have been reduced for most people, as they have for me, but nothing has changed in terms of the yellow cap.

The fact that such decisions always have to come so late from the FIA is still incomprehensible to me...

I had him exact and 1.5 points so now it means I have lost a position in the ranking yet I don't mind that much as most persons have also lost these points as I saw many to have him in 4th place.Anyway finally we are getting there where tracks are more beautiful,in Europe where hopefully emotions will be even bigger than they were in this last race in Miami.Can't wait for the legendary track of Imola after 2 weeks.

The only luck was that SC entered just in time for Norris to take the lead after pitting. But in the remaining part of the race Norris drove really great.    After being on podium 15 times finally Norris also managed to win a race. By the way Verstappen made a mistake at a turn and the bollard he smashed caused a damage on his underfloor. This also affected Verstappen's pace after it. But I'm not saying this to underestimate Norris' victory of course.
