As many people have said, it's never too late to learn anything, including getting into crypto investing or other trading, what you need to learn now is the basics, which are important for beginners to read and apply in terms of what you want to do. .

If you want to start investing, then learn the basics related to crypto investment, which is really important where we have to store assets properly, choose coins for the long term, continue to hold longer and some other basics that are important to you.

Likewise starting from trading, of course analysis and fundamentals are the most important where you can see several patterns and charts that can be combined to analyze a coin to be traded.

All of that takes time and you can definitely do it!

The crypto industry is 14 years old and counting yet the technology still seem new to both old and new investors. There is no wrong or right time to invest in crypto, the major concern for newbies should be how to start. Many heard about Bitcoin in 2009 and ignored it then later picked interest in 2020 down to date and are making big profit from the market. The major concern is how to get the right knowledge so as to stay in profit while the volatility persists.

Hi!
So, as the title would suggest, is it too late to start investing on crypto? And if not, what would be the essentials to learn on working on it?
People have had opportunities slip by them because they didn't know any better. Thinking that cryptocurrency was some flucke because of the advent of the Ponzi schemes which dominated that era and had a lot of people lost therr money to some fraud scheme and other people.
Fortunately, bitcoin is non of that and at the moment with global adoption still as an "in view", the future of cryptocurrency is very much bright and you've got some good chance to start where you can.
Mind you, don't forget to invest only what you can afford to lose and bitcoin remains the most secured of them all.
Welcome on the forum and do your bit by learning the much you can and ask questions when your puzzled.

This has been the questioned being raised so many times, but then again it is not too late yet because the market is still down and we are still far from reaching another peak so I believe there’s still time for you to get in and invest with Bitcoin. The market is on the sideways trend waiting for the right timing to pump again, better to grab this opportunity instead of regretting for not starting early, there’s still time so make it worth this time.

People would only realize that they should get in on the time that the bull run would kicks in or bullish market which it is really very wrong. Its true that there's no such thing about being late to start
considering that we are still that low if we do speak with the current prices of coins and tokens in the market which we could really still able to bag on.I cant blame out someone though
on having doubts because of volatility which is normal but to mind off that this is also the main reason on why people are really that interested
on dealing up with this market due into its opportunities that it do gives for you to make money.

Nah, it's not like the Bitcoin is down or something it's just that it's never too late to start or to start again. Remember that a 1 BTC is a 1 BTC it doesn't matter but what matters is the equivalent value of it in fiat. Everyone can invest in Bitcoin as long as they understand the concept of how it works and etc or else they will lost their investment. Bitcoin isn't design as a quick way to get rich it's not like that, Bitcoin is for long term investment. I hope newbies are all aware of that but some of them are aware that's why they prefer altcoins which is not a good idea for making profit but it depends also on individual if they know what they are doing.

I don't think to late start investing or trading in Bitcoin because after crashing from all time high price above $65,000 and current Bitcoin price right now dropped to $22,000 still have second chance start investing in bitcoin. Many people mindset about they have been late because Bitcoin over to highest price comparison with the OP know with Bitcoin still having lower price.

Don't comparison with Bitcoin price last ten years with most cheapest and your mindset will think about late to participant in bitcoin investment and get another loss chance when bitcoin going up few months later.

Hi!

I have heard about Bitcoin back in 2017 but never got to learn regarding about it. I always thought that crypto was a fluke and that it would definitely not be a type of transaction until pandemic happens. So, as the title would suggest, is it too late to start investing in crypto? And if not, what would be the essentials to learn on working on it?

Thanks in advance!

I also invested after the bullish season last 2017 and got a good profit last bull run so I could conclude that it's never too late for everyone to invest in crypto. You only have to learn how to deal with the risks and know how the market works. Cryptocurrency investment is open for everyone but you also need to do lots of research first so you'll know what to invest in and when is the right time to buy. It's not too late because if you know how to deal with the volatility of the market, you will take it as an opportunity to earn.

you should see the fact that there has been many emergence of 2nd layer solution and new blockchain that has gained massive increase over course of just few months and such thing definitely gonna gets repeated again in the future.
the thing with cryptocurrency investments in general is that the trend of the coin that is at the peak rank are always changing and some of them always gets overtaken by newer coins, so this means the opportunity of making massive profits always open, moreover you shouldn't worry about getting too late in your investments mainly because you could always wait it out for the next massive project and keep analyzing, there's just still so many chance of generating good return if you keep diligently analyse for the newer projects and eventually find gems that you can invest in.

Hey, it is never too late to start investing in bitcoin. In fact --many people are still discovering and getting involved in the crypto market, so you are not alone in your curiosity. That is true that crypto had a surge in popularity during the pandemic because that is the purpose of them to become alternatively digital payment transactions on fiat.
I will let you know that investing in crypto can be a rewarding experience, and with the right approach and knowledge --you can navigate the market and make informed decisions that can potentially lead to a profitable return on investment. So, don't hesitate to start learning more about it and exploring the possibilities that cryptocurrency has to offer!

The best way to start is today but it doesn't mean that you will immediately buy a specific cryptocurrency without a foundation and enough knowledge. The truth is, the opportunities in the market is infinite, which means that you can earn anytime as long as you have knowledge, skills and good risk management. There are a lot of new investors who immediately putting their money with a "HOPE" that it will give them huge returns without fully accepting the risks where there is a financial and emotional disaster whenever they lose.

To avoid any financial and emotional disaster, they should accept fully the risks where they are aware to the amount of money that they will lose if their bias will be invalidated. Having a cutloss is important because it is a way for you to preserve your capital and have a long game in investing world. There are a lot of things to consider before immedately putting your money in some assets.

Get the work done, invest in yourself and make sure you have a enough foundation before you make investment. You are never late, there are so much abundance in this market.

I might start investing on bitcoin soon. I cheacked through the link and it's like, "Bitcoin for dummies", in my opinion. I like it. Thank you for the link!
All the replies above me are pretty useful suggestions and insights so I can't add anything except this useful educational resource if you really want to learn the nitty gritty of bitcoin in layman's term.

You know, learning something technical could also mean protecting your hard earned money especially if you started buying bitcoin now.

I don't think the word "late" is applicable in investing in general unless you are a senior already then it's a different story.

I mean you can start anytime you want. You knew Bitcoin in 2017, but have doubts in it right? It's ok because it isn't only you who thought like that 6 years ago. What's important now is that you started investing into crypto. What's bad is to not try investing at all. You're not late to start in investing into crypto.

As for the things or sites you need if you want to learn, there are many websites online and many already shared some of them as well, so just browse on it and start learning. Learning takes time so be patient to learn. Smiley

As others have said, it is definitely not too late. The only problem I see with your thread is that you have placed it in Trading Discussion, and it is much better to invest in bitcoin than to trade it.

Trading is buying and selling trying to guess whether the price will go up or down and it is a much touted system but one that over 95% of people lose money on.

Investing, on the other hand, is based on a thorough knowledge of the asset you are buying and basing your purchase on the fact that its characteristics are such that it will have a prosperous long-term future.

It is better to go for this second option, as you seem to point out, it is much safer and with less risk.

It's never too late to learn anything under the sun unless you aren't breathing any longer then it's now late. We're still very early in the market as it hasn't matured yet and you see this from the level of fuds and fomo the markets still generate from the smallest negative or positive news that hits the market. Bitcoin hasn't hit the $100k yet which to me that'll be the start of it been expensive.

At the current price many can still buy a whole Bitcoin but when it hits $100k then that number of people that can afford a whole Bitcoin will be reduced since there are many people not making up to $100k a year and they still have to take care of other needs as the days goes by. It isn't a most to own one whole Bitcoin but it should be the minimum since you're in at the early stage.

This question has been asked frequently here in the forum. What I would suggest is that you try to search over the forum or try to search in Google, which will give you the gist of it and allow you to understand more about bitcoin. Also, for sure, people will always say that it is not too late to start as long as you have money to buy it, even if the price is high, but again, make sure you know the risk and are not blinded by the profit that you are seeing in a few years.

Better late than never. And even if you enter the market when the market is volatile or starting to increase, that's okay because in the end, you really decide to invest in crypto. Many people only think without taking action; most of them are late to enter the market and fail to continue. But if they can keep finding out from reliable sources to use every opportunity provided by the market, they will be able to survive in an uncertain market situation.

It will only come back to each person when they invest in crypto. If they just think they are too late to enter the market, they will not invest in crypto no matter what happens to the market. Don't wait any longer before things change.

I have heard about Bitcoin back in 2017 but never got to learn regarding about it. I always thought that crypto was a fluke and that it would definitely not be a type of transaction until pandemic happens. So, as the title would suggest, is it too late to start investing on crypto? And if not, what would be the essentials to learn on working on it?

No you're not late, those people who invest in the bull run is the one who is late I guess. Right now the price is somewhat at discount again from 25k$ to 21k$. As long as you know the risk to invest in crypto and you already know the basic then you're set to go, don't ever get FOMO or FUD from other people it can ruin your investment strategy.

No one is late in crypto and that includes bitcoin. I always hear people saying bitcoin is already expensive and it prompted them to take a pass. Little that they knew that bitcoin is not even adopted by almost all countries around the world as a legal tender. And if someone is looking for a short-term investment, bitcoin is currently priced at $21k which is 3 times its previous highest price of $67k. Bitcoin's 4-year cycle is about to be reached and we all know that it always broke the ATH during the cycle. We may not able to see bitcoin increase by as many folds during its last cycles but I think it is safe to say that it will continue to increase at a significant level compared to traditional investments.
