You're only gonna be late if you don't do any action from the time you've recognized that it's getting late for you. So, do and take your actions as if you really want to get in while it's not that too late.
Years back then, you'll see people having the same thought and they've taken actions and they're in happily and enjoying that they've got in early during those times when they've thought that it's already too late for them. To OP and everyone who's having this thought and is quite new to buying bitcoin and on this market, don't listen to that thought of yours of being late, you're just new and there's still a lot of space for the market to flourish.

It's never too late to get into the crypto world. You can enter anytime. However, it should be noted that there are many tokens circulating in the market, you as an investor need to research which token you want to invest in first. As a recommendation, you can start from Bitcoin or BNB and hold it for the period you want. But if you want to know more, you can take a look at CoinMarketCap and sort out the potential tokens.

It's best for beginners like you to avoid tokens from projects like DeFi, Metaverse, and GameFi. I'm not saying that the tokens from these projects are not good, it's just that these tokens have a greater chance of being scammed than popular tokens like Ethereum or BNB or other popular tokens. I thought the advice should be pretty specific since the OP seems to like bitcoin over altcoin. I'm not advice the OP consider multiple altcoin for one reason, certainly because their use case as currency is too low compared to bitcoin. So it's definitely never too late to invest in bitcoins, in fact they have to be capable enough considering the current market conditions to buy bitcoin.

Some altcoin of choice might be good if the OP wants to diversify his assets, not just bitcoin, but avoid the hype-filled and pump-and-dump altcoin. It was a advice, but he had to do some analysis to determine which one was the best to choose.

No, it's not too late to start.  In my opinion, you are very timely interested in this topic.  

It's good that you didn't buy $69,000 bitcoin at the time.  In this case, you would have to wait a very long time for the moment when you first cover your losses and then make a profit.  

However, there is currently a lull in the cryptocurrency market (bear market).  The price of bitcoin will rise in the future and exceed $70,000, and at present, you can buy the first cryptocurrency quite cheaply.  

For example, today the purchase price of Bitcoin is less than $20,000....  

In my opinion, this is a very good purchase price in terms of long-term growth in the price of this financial asset.

Now that bitcoin dropped below $20k, investors have the opportunity to travel back in time which was 2020, the year before the last time bitcoin went into halving. Next year is bitcoin halving once again. There is plenty of time remaining for us to invest or start a DCA on bitcoin and some of your chosen altcoins. Personally, this drop in price can only lead bitcoin to another mini bull run this year which will be around $30k or even more.

It’s never late to be honest. And when you talk about Bitcoins specifically, then definitely it’s never late. I mean currently Bitcoins are at great price, just don’t think anything else and buy and store it safely as many as you want. The reason for which I am saying this so confidently is because of the marketcap of the coin. Bitcoins are so popular that, eventually when the time will pass, the demand of the coin will increase, and due to the limited number of Bitcoins, the price will go up in order to meet the demands. As others have said, it is definitely not too late. The only problem I see with your thread is that you have placed it in Trading Discussion, and it is much better to invest in bitcoin than to trade it.

Trading is buying and selling trying to guess whether the price will go up or down and it is a much touted system but one that over 95% of people lose money on.

Investing, on the other hand, is based on a thorough knowledge of the asset you are buying and basing your purchase on the fact that its characteristics are such that it will have a prosperous long-term future.

It is better to go for this second option, as you seem to point out, it is much safer and with less risk.

I don't see that he mentioned trading in each of his posts but he only place his thread on the wrong board. There is nothing wrong if he will do trading. He can still do investing on the side because investing doesn't need a constant monitoring. Learning trading can be a good way to kill our boredom on waiting for our assets to grow big.

Trading is more than just guessing but there are tools that we can use in order to make a more accurate prediction. 95% of people losing in trading could be too high already and if it's true, trading will be less talked about but that isn't the case that is happening right now. Trading is always a hot topic everywhere you go.

It is never too late. Crypto is still in its baby shoes. But since you are new I would highly recommend you research wallet security and how blockchains work. Also, I would recommend you do not invest in any crypto under the top 10 (by market volume) . for example on coinmarketcap. The reason is that many crypto make themselves look very attractive but totally flop as a long term investment.

Once you have some experience under your belt, you can look into the other crypto.

It is not too late, the crypto market is going down and the next opportunities are going to happen for newcomers. When crypto enthusiasts talk about the $100k market price predictions, I know it is time to sell BTC and wait for the end of a bear market. Market psychology and sentimental analysis methods help traders to analyze market conditions before taking any trade position, learning all peak points will make OP a professional trader one day. As explained before, it is not late since mass adoption is not at desired level yet.

When you mean too late I understood it in two different categories,
One which is age factors, maybe when you where in your early age you heard about cryptocurrency trading but was never really interested, but when you got to a particular ages which you won't have the eye and straight to trade again, that one can say it too late.
Then the second is when you heard about cryptocurrency trading, maybe a friend told you about it, let's say for example in 2020 then you now had interest in 2023, that is not too late to start, is when you made up your mind to take a try. So with this then one can say there is nothing like too late.
