This actions mostly happening on newbies since they think they can do that when the time the play again on casino. They didn't realize that house will always have an advantage especially when the emotions of the gambler is so high since chances to lose when they are not in their best shape is so high. If they could just relax their selves maybe they can hit the luck and gain from their bets.

A lost bets may not be counted as a waste bet depending on the idea op is trying to bring to the table. Many gamblers would not agree to his ideas but we can take a some thought from his perspective.

 I don't have problem with what he's trying to say but a waste bet to me is a bet that we don't want to bet on and we finally see ourselves bet on and finally lost it. If our feeling is telling us not to bet on a particular game and we finally disobeyed and make the bet and lose then I will classified that kind of bet as a waste bet. We need to be very careful how we bet and on what game we are betting on.

I also think that no bet is a waste because even if you lose you learn, when I bet and win it fascinates me but if I lose I try to find out why I lost and I draw conclusions and since there are things that I don't understand well I know that over time I will be able to assimilate them, but it is not a waste, they can say that it is a waste when you lose money, but I do not think so, losing money can be done in any activity but when it comes to betting it is something else,because if you win the positive consequences are others.

Well, not everyone takes gambling and losses that way. People do become happy when they win big, I mean who wouldn't? I agree that no bet is a waste.  My reason behind is that every bet we have the chance to win.  Just like betting in lottery, our ticket has a chance to win the jackpot price no matter how small it is.  Thinking that a $0.5 bet can win more than $20k is a good reason enough to gamble such amount.  And I think it is worth to try than letting the chance or opportunity to hit a jackpot since $0.5  can't make us any poorer but hitting $20k+ is a life changer especially to a gambler from a developing country.

If we do not take any bet thinking we can lose the money, then we can never win any amount in gambling. You have to take the risk in order to win anything.

I wondered it too, lost game is already a wasted game so I don't also see it as the otherwise. Yes I agree with you, if anyone does not accept that what he has lost is a waste then the gambler is very serious or addicted to gambling and ready to lost all and still have the confidence that what have been lost is not waste then a question will be asked, where are the lost gambling cash?

Well, I believe that the meaning of no bet is a waste isn't really what the sentence itself says, but it is simply a reference to the fact that when you lose something, you learn something. Remember, when we win, we just win, but when we lose, we learn something extra if we know in what way the loss should be taken.

If a loss is taken negatively, that can damage your mind and make you keep thinking about it again and again, but if taken positively, it can motivate you to do better the next time, and you will realize that whatever you had lost in the previous bet, wasn't basically a loss if it taught you to be stronger.

We learn for our mistakes, indeed, it is not only about gambling or betting. However, this conversation reminds me some user of this section of the forum, who was betting on the recently finished World Cup. During one of the earliest matches, he bet all his money in favor of Argentina, what was supposed to be a "safe bet", became a mistake and ended up losing all his money for betting in a single bet. When you go to watch football or other games in a stadium do you consider it waste or the money spent on hotel bills during vacation is it considered as waste? Same is applicable to gambling, is it because gambling promises some profits? There are other recreational things that eat up our money and doesn't guarantee us money yet people don't see it as waste. When it comes to gambling everyone maintains the fact that it's a waste, neglecting the fun and relaxation gambling offered them. The issue is that players want to receive double of their money despite taking pleasures during the game. Note that most people who consider the money lost in gambling a loss or waste lose more money than their counterparts who don't see it as a waste.

Well, for those who make gambling part of the fun. however, it is very important to have self-control. although the main goal is not for the winning money, it is just as important to control the money at stake.

It's very obvious if person who is a gambler that doesn't have self-control is a gambling addict and I am sure they can cause problems to themselves and to their family. That is how important self-control in oneself and how It can a gambler not becoming a gambling addict. We have different reason why we gamble and for me, I gamble to have fun and maybe I am lucky enough to win huge amount with small bet only.

there are also some gambler that has no self control but cannot be consider as addict instead they are those type of people that risk taker , meaning they wanted to try hard to win, even if they spent more money than what they can earn  but eventually as they become mature in this area?

You can't tell me this that no bet is a waste. I do bet often and from my perspective I know that there are some bets I had taken that still beat my heart today. Some bets are just a waste of time and I do ask myself why I took the bet that I would have used the money to do something else that wasting it.

Well, they can tell you this because that's what they think, you can deny it if you think it's not true in your case. Besides, don't you think you should have thought of not betting before doing it instead of regretting it later? As they say, you should only gamble what you can afford to lose. So you should have only bet with the money allocated for gambling so that you won't regret it when you lost, and think that it's okay, you sometimes win and sometimes lose.

The way you take gambling, I don't really think that you actually enjoy betting or even gambling but you only do it to earn profits out of it, and if that's true, you need to change your mindset or it will be even more difficult for you.
