If not Ethereum, what else could it be. Ethereum is the most credible altcoin that has been consistent with bitcoins for a while now. Many newbies do not pay attention to it and always want to try out other altcoins that are always in the news like Doge, Solana etc. But even with all that, it does not take away the first on the list of altcoins from Ethereum that is comfortable occupying that position.

The fact that ETH has been consistent with Bitcoin has earned so much trust from all users. I think that the newbies are not paying enough attention to ETH simply because they are misled by the news and given enough time, they will understand the importance of choosing the most trustworthy cryptos such as BTC, ETH.  Another thing that no one can deny is that Ethereum built the foundation of blockchain technology and made Bitcoin's blockchain ideas into reality. Success never comes easy and Etherum deserves all of the reputation.

I would not say that they are easily to identify yet. They can still fool many people, personally the only way I can tell a post is made by an AI is the fact it cannot adapt its replies in a proper way to the context of the threads.

Maybe ETH is the best altcoin right now because of its use cases, trading volume and market capitalization. But before ETH got into that, it was overtaken by XRP a few times. For now, this is the most likely altcoin that is worth to DCA other than Bitcoin. However, it does not guarantee that ETH will be the best for long.

And speaking of that, I did DCA some ETH back then when it was still hovering around $1k or more that time but eventually because of my ignorance and not transferring it to my hardware wallet, it ended up got hacked last month in my Metamask without having any clue at all.

I’ll just wait again for a pullback before starting to DCA some ETH again but it’ll be in my hardware wallet this time around.
