Well, if John Ryder does not impress the judges even though he is leading may lose the fight.  So we might see Canelo getting an easy victory here due to the skill of Canelo and the judges' favoritism.

Maybe Canelo & 7-9 or Canelo & 10-12 could be a good bet, I don't really expect a quick KO by Canelo, maybe it will give a good fight like when Canelo was fight against Caleb Plant.

I think if Ryder able to pull an upset against Canelo, he will not win via KO, but he can only win via decision. If someone think Ryder can win in this fight, maybe just bet Ryder & 10-12 since the odds is really high.

Of course, John Ryder wasn't cherry picked by Canelo's team to be there to defeat their cash cow. Ryder's sole reason why he is in this bout fighting with Canelo is because he will be the one who will keep latter warm before he proceeds to his rematch versus Bivol.

Besides, I don't think David Benavidez will get his much-wanted time this year because their only choice to make the bout happen is if Canelo will be due for another mandatory defense fight or if Canelo will approve it.

John Ryder is not that young anymore to expect that he still have a good chance to upset the undisputed champion and reign the division that was once dominated by Canelo because in reality, unfortunately, his chances are just slim. It might be good for him in the long run if he continues to box as he will get the experienced in fighting one of the best in this generation. I agree, in the Lara fight (in which Lara is a southpaw, Canelo had difficult times and others said that Erislandy beat him in that fight).

Well yeah you've got some point. Here's a big HOWEVER,  Canelo has never knocked down in his entire pro career, yeah Jose Cotto almost got him in 2010 if not with the ropes, Canelo would've kissed the canvass, but after that Canelo has became a tougher fighter. Now, I don't know how Ryder will going to win this fight? I mean he's got 32 W and 18 are those was a KO, that isn't really a bad ratio, but that clearly indicates he's not really that dangerous KO artist. So, the fight will be held in Mexico, with a close fight he's not going to win the decision either.
Also, let's see if Canelo is really washed lol. He's not old yet though.

But interim title is just a secondary title, not really the real one. Also, Ryder haven't fought many good boxers which had a similar level like Canelo Alvarez.

John Ryder is a good boxer and he's better than many boxers in his weight, if I fight with him, obviously he can easily win via KO. But Canelo is different and he's way better than Ryder, he lost to Mayweather is understandable due to politic reason and he lost to Bivol is really deserved since Bivol clearly dominating almost all the rounds.

In my view, Ryder don't have a politic power like Mayweather and not as strong as Bivol, it's why Ryder is a huge underdog.

I guess, that's one thing we should look forward to rather than expecting a one-sided fight throughout the night just because of the term "tune-up fight".

I, for one, particularly believe that Ryder will show what he is made of because this is a big opportunity for him to prove his existence in-front of the public but if ever he will get out defeated, I guess this bout will be his last as he already hinted a retirement just a while ago.
