How much return are we expecting next bull run?

There are big expectations in 2024 and 2025, but it's not the time yet. I still hope to collect a lot of bitcoins as long as the price is low enough this is a good phase to collect them.

I don't know, I don't know how long bitcoin will be under $30k like it is now, but as long as it's possible to buy above $30k then that's also a good thing to consider. The simple strategy is to be consistent while hoping it will pay off in the long term.

Some do even say that the bull run might be starting off early which i dont believe it that much considering that we are still too far off with the halving event which we do know that this is a solid
catalyst which we could really say that hits would really be giving out some impact which would push up prices into those new ATH's.Although it cant really be that so sure considering
that we dont know on what the future brings considering that there are lots of fundamentals and events around which you could really be able to say that
reaching up new heights wont really be that simple as it sounds.

I want you to understand that the bullish market of cryptocurrency have no particular time for it occurrence but I believe that's a speculations made by some people about the bullish market of cryptocurrency are not perfectly correct but some in extent the bullish just occur when the demands in cryptosphere is high than the supply. But some assume that we shall experience a grate bullrun in 2024 but we can't rely on predictions of people but we shall follow the rotation or regulation of the market through chart to analyse when the market will be suitable or enters bullrun.

it means that you are a newbie in this market, but even so you went to put your money in altcoins hoping to make profits as high as 20x, the old dreams and greed of 20x profits that made many people instead of having profits of 20x 20x lose everything in scam altcoins. I even thought that people would no longer fall into this greed for 20x or even 10x profits, but apparently time passes a lot but people's way of thinking hardly changes

in this case you are talking about bitcoin that you would only sell if you made 2x profits, but what about your altcoins, are you currently at a loss? I imagine that in case you have a loss with altcoins, it will not be 10%, without a doubt that it will be a loss of more than 10%, and you have to see that altcoins are not a guaranteed investment that can recover from their prices past highs, and the reason is very simple: every year there are more new altcoins with better technologies emerging and the market is getting very saturated, so don't be thinking something like: "altcoin x te ATH of 300$ and its current price is 50$, so when I buy now I will make a 6x profit... " is a wrong thought

Honestly it greatly depends on the sorts of attacks on Bitcoin we are gonna see the next couple years. In 2021 American investors were obsessed with the great entrepreneur turned market manipulator turned looney toon conspiracy theorist Elon Musk, and when he announced Tesla will no longer accept Bitcoin for payment (which was a complete non-event) all the Musk obsessed people freaked out and the price crashed, and around the same time China banned Bitcoin mining so that was a double whammy in the middle of the bull run that crashed the price down by 50% and it took the rest of the momentum of the bull run to just barely break the early-2021 ATH.


I could see in 2025 the US govt / regulators timing action against crypto to try to stall the bull market. Though they may not wait that long as they are already starting their attacks on the industry now. But if there is some big govt attack on the industry during the big bull year in late 2024 or 2025 we could see another fairly weak bull market like 2021. If nothing like that happens though I'd expect the next bull run to be about as big as the last one (cuz of diminishing returns we'd normally expect a significantly smaller one, all else being equal). Last one was 3.45x from old ATH, another 3.45x from current ATH is $238k. I'd put that as the max peak in 2025 if everything goes great, but more realistically probably $200k would be the peak of a good bull run, or if there is some sort of serious attack on the industry or serious market disruption where we get a weak bull run again maybe it'd top out at more like $150k.

I'm just hoping whatever s**t US regulators and govt are gonna pull on crypto industry gets put out in the open the next 12 months before the halving so by the time the bull market really gets going the regulatory landscape will at least be more settled. Though considering the SEC is making it obvious that their only intention is to sow chaos in the market and provide no guidance or regulatory clarity I'm guessing they are still gonna be making trouble unless Gensler gets kicked out and someone focused on doing their job rather than taking down the industry gets put in his place.


We gotta be a lot more conservative in estimates of bitcoin price growth these days as post-2017 it became too big to ignore and so whereas it used to be a get rich quick play every bull market now there are many very powerful entrenched powers that are very uneducated on Bitcoin or just scared of it so we should expect to see greater attacks on the industry and more anti-bitcoin/crypto misinformation. I'm expecting a much slower growth curve now that I had been expecting back in 2020. So my 2025 expectation isn't much higher than my original 2021 expectation. Also all the get rich quick speculators just pile into crap altcoins instead of Bitcoin cuz they don't know what they are doing so that steals some of the old extreme bull run explosiveness Bitcoin used to have. Bitcoin has moved into a store of value investment and its get rich quick days are over. Some people in 2021 were expecting $300k, but it won't get close to that even in 2025, it won't be until 2028/29 that we see $300k+. The only thing that would change this is if US politicians get educated on Bitcoin at some point and the US govt starts supporting Bitcoin, but I think that'll take a much longer time to happen.

In my opinion if the price has reached $ 40k then it will be the start of the next bull, the daily transactions that are happening at this time are a sign that the market will rise and become hope for the next bull, March is a good start because the price can go up from under $ 20k to over $27k even yesterday the price was $28k.

but be reminded that Bull trap is still alive and never underestimate this chances, we have seen more of those in the past and yes that is devastating .

so 40k might be the beginning of bull run  or we can call this month of 28k as the start of bull, as actually no one knows.

Yes I did confirm in my first post that majority of portfolio is currently altcoins but looking to change that and make Bitcoin 60-70% and then the rest altcoins.

My main altcoins are Quant, Polygon, Algorand & Hedera I then have a few others that are only a small part of portfolio.

I did something like that back in the day after the bear started. My portfolio was more like 50% bitcoin and 20-30% ethereum and rest in other alts during last bear period, then the price of bitcoin went up and everything was amazing for a while and I made insane returns on alts, so I bought more and more alts during 2021 bull period.

When the bear started, I started to sell off my alts and now I am back at 50%+ bitcoin and 30% or so in ethereum, that is how I feel fine during bad periods because I trust that those two will be fine, and the rest could be in trouble. That's of course only valid as long as you make it valid, like if you keep track of that carefully.

If we do speak about current top ranking ones, then i would say that there's no way that they could hit up 10-100x anymore,unless if you have able to deal with into those presale prices when they are just starting.
Tending to look at their ROI% in those reference site like CMC then it did really already make a huge take off which is something that it cant reach out further more.
This is why people would really be loving on diving or searching opportunities in low caps.

If it's just a kind of speculation, we can also make predictions according to existing data. Predictions are made to find out where the market will go according to matching existing data, technical and fundamental analysis will never make predictions. Predictions only help, but will not be 100% accurate.
But at least we can read the market even if it's not entirely correct.

There has been a lot of speculation about the new ATH and when the new ATH will be reached, it will become a positive trend that could push up the price even higher. We see the current market trend, dominated by positive trends. Hoping the previous ATH also breaks, hitting $70k might be enough, but waiting for $100k might be more fun.

Honestly, I really want that to happen because if bitcoin can hit $1 million next bull season, I will retire early and enjoy my life. But I think we should be more realistic, that's no longer an optimism but an illusion. The banking system is in serious trouble, but it's only a small fraction of the millions of banks in the world, so the banking crisis won't take a huge hit for bitcoin. The banking system will be repaired and will still be the choice of most people, bitcoin is unlikely to replace the traditional financial system in the near future.

But I think we should be more realistic, that's no longer an optimism but an illusion. The banking system is in serious trouble, but it's only a small fraction of the millions of banks in the world, so the banking crisis won't take a huge hit for bitcoin. Yes, that will be a good price for everyone, but lets not kid ourselves, $1 million is out of the picture of the next bull run, and we will have to still wait and not retire early in our lives and enjoy our profits. Although the banking system is in trouble right now, it might not be enough to push for a 7 digit price next bull run. Conservative estimates will be $100k as the entry level and as high as $150k. I think that's good enough price for everyone. Specially if we are still saving as much as we can, whether dollar cost average (DCA), or buy when we have that money in bulk, one time.

Yes, that's why everyone has it's own guess, but for sure you have your own numbers in mind and so does everyone in bitcoin market. It could be that we wanted that price because we wanted our money to grow easy as that. One thing though is that we should be conservative and not that put the price into exaggeration like $ 1 million next year, that is out of the picture for now.

Generally no one can say that when bull-run will start but it can be assumed that it can be seen in the next halving. And talking about the price, it must be said that the last bull-run has changed in terms of price. From that point of view, if everything goes well, now we can see bitcoin in the 100k house.

And so you give a good estimates at 6 figures, $100k and I will be with you on that. It could be higher in my books as I have said previously. Nevertheless 6 digit will be a good bench mark price for the next bull run. It's been predicted though by some modelling last 2021 but we didn't hit that. But this time it could be reach, or we can go higher, just saying. So we need to be patience and just continue to hold and accumulate as much as we can.
