That's true for Poker and I think the least luck is involved when you play at live tournaments and are mentally very strong so you don't go tilt. When you play online it is tougher in my opinion as people can have a bot running and you just don't know it. There are many softwares that have become popular. I think I will have to disagree with the second stats as I feel and know every gambling is under the basis of how lucky you are because even after gathering enough stats in order to place a bet you will still have to be lucky for the actual stats to have a positive outcome so I feel bought are a game of chance. I don't believe any gamblers have skills he or she is using to execute a special winning by him, its just one big whole circle of luck. There is every chance and possibility that you can loose or win a bet on slots and poker.

An example of a game that fits in this category is slots due to its nature where you pull a level and hope for the best; whereby a game of skill relies on a series of techniques in order to at least gain a small advantage depending on your decisions. Yes, and because of the pandemic, crypto and online gambling balloon to a massive proportions, we have seen a lot of casinos being born around that time and still up to this day, they have their signature campaigns here and becoming bigger than ever. I would say that all of the casino games are games of chance and none falls in the game of skill. Yeah Poker is a bit tricky and people think if you have the skill you are better at playing poker, which is not correct in my point of view.
Usually, poker is not an easy game for someone who never played it first. People will first learn about poker and think that it is a skill based game.

Without even asking, it should be obvious that slots is a luck-based game and poker, although requires luck, can be applied with good skills.

Simply, we can't apply any strategy to increase our chance of winning in slots as everything is random. That's why in that kind of game, always have the ability to limit ourselves during losing and try to take a break when winning big. In luck-based games, bankroll management should always be the priority.

Referring to poker, of course, we also need luck here to somehow always expect to have the best set of cards. However, even with bad cards, a user has a chance to turn the table in favor of them. Overall though, playing poker and related games, a good experience is required.

it is indeed that Poker needs skills to win constantly but still there is a luck that needs to win meaning both are chance game mate , because no matter how skilled you are in poker but once you are dealing with another skilled gamblers? this will end up the luck will decide .

i love black jack but for me i support OP in which poker is much a game of Skills than luck and comparing to blackjack it is really needs great understanding .

I am surprised that nobody has mentioned sports betting so far. I agree with the majority of responses that consider poker to be a game of skill, where luck plays a part in the short term, but skilled players can win money consistently. But in sports betting too.

Both these games do require analysis, Poker needs reading possible outcomes, there is a risk but you could lessen it if you know who you are playing against.
