So sad, it's seem merit source that help out in this thread no longer have any interest or have decided to go cold. after going through previous page of the thread it's seem active users that help out like @the cryptovator, yahoo62278, Ratimov and other merit source have abandoned the thread if not there are loads of applications that need merit and some of these folks are actually good posters too.

This thread was created not only for merit sources, but it's for everyone who have spendable Merit. Also there's no rules for x user must spend out all of his sMerit or kind of like that, if someone feel they didn't deserve, so...

Who's Ratimov? I never heard this username. you forget to mention one user that also like to spread his sMerit, he's Symmetrick although he claimed already dead, RIP.

If you post the number of merit(s) left for you to move to the next rank here, Merit sources, Any one and Everyone watching this topic with lots of sMerit to share might decide to take a look at your post history, to find posts that are Merit worthy to Merit so as to help you ascend.

I am not a merit source, I just earn a decent amount of merit from my posts normally. I went cold due to the amount of accounts that end up being connected and are ultimately ban evaders or scammers trying to start over or increase the farm.

This thread started with good intentions, but I think too many bad people have found it.

you are actually right, we all humans alot of people would take the kindness of those users who have been using this thread to help and encourage alot of users in Rankin up , as an advantage to cheat more. The painful thing is that when have managed to get to the requirement that when those kind users as stop checking on. This thread.

Writing a post with a merit count is not enough in itself to earn merit. Having at least some quality in the post-history is still necessary.

Well that's the end result of everything intended to be good here but I believe there is still some applications dropped here that maybe somehow evolved past the particular sense of cheat by having the said good post that meets the need to be merit and I feel users can actually focus more on that posts to boost other with good posts .

Some have taken this thread to be a merit farm ground which is outside the original intention of the thread as stated by the ops, but since the thread starter have not being so active to delete a few wrong post's from the thread, makes some low rank members to mistakes this thread as a merits charity where they don't need to put in extra effort into the overall posting history before applying for merit giveaway for rank ups.


I think alot need to be done to revive the true content and concepts for this thread as stated in the ops and also the ops need to be more active in this thread to clear off such attempts in the future.

If the people you feel are quality posters are actually quality posters, then people will notice and start giving them the merit you feel they deserve at some point. Your idea of quality and others idea of quality might differ, and if the people lose interest in the forum because they cannot rank up, then it shows that they were probably only here for earning and not genuinely interested in bitcoin or the forum. I've said it a million times, there is nothing wrong with earning a buck, but rank up in the proper way. You don't need to be here in the begging thread to get there, and there is no rush to get to a certain rank. Earn it and you will feel great about it once you get there vs begging and feeling like a bum.

You should earn maximum merit for your contribution. We can push you to the next level by supporting you with some merit. We aren't here to build you from the beginning.
