Yeah So I got paid finally. And even though I am happy that my hashes were not sent to waste. I would totally discourage anyone from this so called project !! The person in charge is very rude !

Below are Personal Message recieved from GOAT. After asking why my payment has not showed up

Msg1

"When I tried to pay you, you were not mining. I went to try to pay you now and guess what? You are not mining!
You will get paid but if you would read the thread you would know my hands are tied."

Msg2

"You failed to read my thread... Once I pay you your name and IP will be banned from all further transactions."

Msg3

"you have been paid, stop mining and never come back"

Now noting that I did read the thread and i did turn back on a miner after his first response. But I did not know I had to be running indefinately or at least had to be running the miner at the given time when he felt like looking to make a payment. All in all its not worth all the trouble!!and he only sends payments to 2 digits. Where is the rest of my coin Huh?

Not saying its a scam but! It might as well be cause the service SUCKS !!!!

and I want my payment for the extra 161 hashes i submitted this morning just to get my previous money i dont care how small the amount is gimme my coin !!!and all of it. I dont want to have anything to do with u or your project !!!

MINERS BEWARE !!

I have talked to goat myself recently and I find him to be a nice and polite person. I would like to see what your answers were in this story not only what goat told you. As for the 2 digits goat has previously stated that he's doing everything manually so give him a break sending off manual payouts is hard enough without having to do it down to 8 decimal points.

  he rounds up.

 Since that also may not have been clear like the 'need to be mining to see your shares' statement was or wasn't.  It made sense to me but I can see where he could have a bit more patience with what you posted anyhows.

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

I haven't gotten paid in a while...

Any ETA on the frontend

EDIT: So somehow the email you sent me got sent to my spam folder.  I logged into the site and everything is 0s.  You made my account as "redemerald1" but my miner has been working on "redemerald."  I really hope that all my earned shares are not lost.  Any reason for the different username?

I'll be mining on another pool until you let me know whats up.

I had the same problem.

I had to rename the miner worker name to the new name, then values start to show in the UI.

Goat then paid me for the original worker shares manually.

I wouldn't be worried about losing the bitcoin, but PM him to make sure you get paid.

Hi everyone. Sorry for the delay. I was busy with work and had the new years party last night, then got rather sick (food poisoning). I am taking the day off today and should be able to catch up on everything and even make an FAQ.

Sorry for the bumpy start.
This felt good to see
Code:
    {
        "account" : "goat",
        "address" : "1DKkH6BBY1z96fcgoprnfTmJ2gdQt4zSHs",
        "category" : "receive",
        "amount" : 6.05000000,
        "confirmations" : 0,
        "txid" : "740ea0bfab35fc0ae9a7042ffae5a7c2bf84d31b0d8e32b0b009ee6bd9e8c0bc",
        "time" : 1325212811
    }

I've got my miner back online and pointing at you.

We have had reports that emails are being sent to the spam box. Can you check that and see because you should have an email with your information. PM again if you did not get one. We are still working out a few bugs. Thanks.

sure enough, the one form Tygrr went to spam. It of course had the useful info in it. The generic one that just said the thing was up went to the inbox. ;p

Edit; Ok, got front end info ok. user/pass work fine. What is the pool info? I tried using the site there with your custom port and 8332. Nither connect.

PM sent, let's try this. I'd be glad if it managed to make deepbit a bit below 50%.

Yeah there is one. It's pretty minimalistic, but there's shares, rejected shares, account balance, a button to request payment and a form to change your password.

Maybe it is just because I am paying attention to my miner today, but there seem to be all sorts of stability issues.  Cgminer keeps having communication issues.  Is anybody else noticing this?

Indeed, I have like 2% reject and my node keeps falling back to Deepbit quite regularly (in my Deepbit stats I've got shares in like half the blocks). Looks like there's been a downtime a couple hours ago, too. But, well, as long as you've got a backup pool, 2% of rejected shares isn't too much of an issue since we get 110% of what's left.

Same here. Backup pool is essential, although this pool's uptime is good, not quite 100% yet.

The front end is working great.  It provides all of the important information.

My only other feature request would be an automatic (or daily) payout.  I don't know what your backend looks like.  It could either be easy, or hard.

Things seem to be running smoothly so far.

I am also curious why the payouts seem to take so long (1 hour +).  Are they being done by hand?  Not a problem, just curious.
