Well as a financial advisor I would of course agree with you.  Save early.  Save as much as you can.  There's three things that I recommend to my clients on a daily basis.  Three things everyone should be doing once a year at minimum.. 1)Run a budget once a year, find out how much you spend each month (and how to lower that..perhaps you have cable tv and pay $90 a month, consider using an online TV service like YouTube TV and you could save as much as $20-30..that adds up) and how much you take home.  Subtract the two and that gives you what you could, or more likely SHOULD be saving.  2)Increase the amount your saving each month for retirement at least once a year. Typically people get a yearly raise, when this happens..increase your contributions right with your pay raise. 3) Review your investments at least once a year.  Ask yourself.. Am I on track for retirement? What's my time horizon? What's my risk tolerance?  Do my investments match those needs/timelines?

Best time to hustle, invest and save up is while we are young, for in old age, doing those things will become very difficult, so it is indeed a good advice for us to prepare for the old version of ourselves now that we are young, for it is surely coming.

a very simple story but will give a very valuable lesson in life. i guess, everyone knows such story, however, not all of us is taking that seriously and live with it.
each one of us has our own way of attacking this situation as we have different financial capabilities. but it all boils down to the fact that no matter how small we can keep for our future will always be worthwhile in the future.

And do you know that Bitcoin has made it even more easier to save our future when we are old? The most difficult thing is managing finances and time to carry out plans A and B. but it must be prepared

Getting old is inevitable but you can prepare yourself before it happened. While we're still young, have a plan for your retirement to secure yourself and your family. We can't work when our body is not physically fit already so don't wait for it and plan ahead.

While you're still young, has a job and able to earn a stable income, start your journey of saving for the future. Think of what's best to have a passive income. Invest on crypto or real estate properties so you can secure yourself in times you're not capable to work already. The most important thing is that we have the thought that one day we will not always be in the 20 to 30 years of age which is still considered young, but we will go to the age above 30 years.

The problem is that we keep saying that we have a lot of time until we get old but we never think that it will take more time before we can have money that will last us until weve gone. That's what's going on, it's easy for us to plan every detail, but not everyone is going to follow through with the plan as they planned it, not everyone will get it done. I'm not really sure who's the wrong in this situation and who should I blame, but few things in order to make you survive and doesn't suffer financial problem are:

1. Make sure you don't save your money, but invest on few commodities e.g. Bitcoin, gold, stock, real estate etc.
2. Have a small business in your home, it's better if you have an autopilot business where you don't need to work anymore.
3. Teach your children how to use money in a correctly way, don't overspend and use it for luxury lifestyle.

When you're still 25-40 years old, it might be the peak of your career, don't think you can work until you're death because an old people can't compete with fresh graduate young people.

We need to keep this in mind that global and domestic scenarios may change at any time. In my country we were living quite normal a year back and its just a matter of year things have changed altogether. The inflation has gone up by 50%, local currency has devalued to its peak and much more. This gave a lesson that we also need to be ready of such changes that have huge impact on our lives. A dollar year back was 180 Pakistan Rupee and within year dollar is now equal to almost 300 Pak Rupee.

I think here the concept is getting clearer, we have to put our money in something that makes its value increase, because if you just save your money it won't increase.

We don't have a choice in this situation, like it or not, we will still age over time, so try to take advantage while we are healthy and prepare everything for the future. This is exactly how your uncle felt when he was young and active in duty.
