After all, the trading pair is really good especially if you have other altcoins that you like to trade as well because somehow it will really help you or us to get a good income.

But of course, it depends on the individual trader like me. For example, if I have holdings of any kind of Matic, what I will do is pair it with BTC so that at least if I sell my Matic, I will have btc in the same amount if it is believed that the value will increase in the future.

I don't think that's the situation everytime. If you fail to do the correct analysis, you will lose big time. In every trading situation, you should have a fixed stop loss position. Doesn't matter if it's a BTC pair or any other crypto. You can control your loss at any situation, only if you have the right strategy. And always remember, trading comes with a high risk. There's a certainty with BTC pair and I agree with that. Other than that, you have to take in consider of every risk.

it is the volume that's in BTC/USDT that traders will like and prefer to trade in this pair. for spot traders, the whales with thousands of BTC can easily liquidate the amount especially if he is on the major cex same for buying back.

there are altcoin traders but are often not good for futures or spot because all these altcoins still just follow the price movement of BTC. nothing better than just staying in BTC.

The higher the volume of the altcoin chosen for trading, the better because fluctuations will move quickly. That's the advantage of trading on altcoins compared to bitcoin which is more suitable for the long term.

It just depends on your capital, if you have about $30k or more as capital and you can buy and sell 1 whole Bitcoin at once, you can surely get a lot of profit from it. Let's suppose, Bitcoin is at $30.2k right now, and you buy 1 Bitcoin at that price, in about 2 hours or so, it goes from $30.2k to $30.3k, and you sell it. You get $100 in there without much risk.

This is exactly why there was a bot back in the day that sold as soon as it profited. The only thing the bot did was calculated the trading fee and any other fee that may occur, and even if it made 1 satoshi profit (which it usually did a bit more, at least 10-15 satoshi) then it sold.

The aim wasn't to make a profit like that, the aim was to put as many coins as in there for trading, and then keep doing this maybe like a thousand times a day. This is the "constant but small profit" method it was using. The logic is simple, if you do not make a profit right now, that is alright, but gradually and slowly keep on making profit and do that consistently. This allows people to make as much profit as they can and allows them to make a lot of money.

I have read your main post too, and I think you are a little bit confused between (Bitcoin and Alts) selecting an asset to store value for money. If yes, Then you will find only one answer from every person who has been involved or not in both. Which is "Bitcoin", because so far, over the last 14 years, BTC has proved itself as the best asset to store your money for value. I do have not as big experience as other legendary members of this platform have, but i have a few pieces of advice for you. Like if you want to store your money in BTC then this is the right time + you should perform DCA + you have to keep some pegged dollars or fiat in reserve, to buy in dip. And on top of all, you have to understand the difference between trading and holding. because you are referring to trading while talking about a long-term investment!

That seems awkward too (hehe), if you will not distinguish between them then it will be hard for you to follow the rules thus you can easily be diverted from your main aim. If you want to hold BTC or any other assets for your Daughter so that it can help her in the future. You should go for BTC instead of alts (because alts have less age than BTC and they are seasonal only).
