My opinion No good decision for 10k invest only two coin but you can invest others altcoins for safty profits. If i have 10k assets then i will invest 5k in btc and others 5k i will buy 4-5 altcoins which is enough profits for my planing. If your xrp and ada will never rising then you can't withdraw total assets.

In terms of holding I can do it for 1-3 years no real time limit. Not sure what returns I might get short term vs long term. ADA for example i might get 3 to 4 x return, however with XRP that might be a lot more should they win the court case.

trust me if BNB is a good choice, because I believe the price of BNB will increase very high if the altseason comes (my target is $2,500), therefore now is the right time for DCA BNB before the altseason happens, then you can get a big profits from investing in BNB at this time, so don't let you miss your current chance to earn a big profits from investing in BNB or you will regret it.

No doubt because I'm also hodling BNB but right now, the OP is not interested in investing towards any other coins because if only he is interested, then bitcoin is surely be his priority and sole choice. But he only wanted some opinion which to choose between XRP and ADA. And if I am on his shoes, I will prefer ADA instead of XRP regardless if XRP is facing any court case or not.

a good opinion if you want to halve between btc and altcoins, but because btc is very high in price, with a value of 5K of course you won't get a large value if you put it in btc (0.183 btc) and if it increases then what you get is also not optimal, it's different if you put it to eth, bnb .
I agree more if you put it on altcoins only and you don't need to add a lot of coins, but just 2 or 3 coins which are indeed very potential, you will definitely get maximum results.

the choice of ADA and XRP is pretty good. if you are confident in your altcoin selection then dividing your assets into 50% ADA and 50% XRP would be a good strategy. however, if you have doubts about both, then Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best options for investing. or you can add BTC and ETH to your investment and divide it to 25% on each coin you choose. However, personally, if I had $10k, and had to invest in crypto, my top choices would be bitcoin and Ethereum.

 1. Good development team, active community
 2. Cheap pricing
 3. Low transaction costs
XRP Cons:
1. The price fluctuates erratically
2. High circulation and lack of concentration, which reduces the possibility of price increase
3. Being fiercely competitive
 In my opinion, you should find a new coin that has the ability to increase sharply in circulation for a better chance of getting profits. Love!

You cannot control the result of court case, so do not bet on it. Avoid XRP especially if the money you are investing is precious to you. If you have higher risk appetite on other hand, you can take this risk and enjoy the high reward ratio that comes with xrp investment.

Secondly, xrp isn’t trustworthy to me anyomore. If they win, thats okey but if they lost then what? Why getting risk while you have lots of good coins to choose! Ada could be Great choice. Besides btc eth could be easily surpass 3/4x within 3 years i believe. Now its upto you

These coins are not looking good at all, you can't rely on a profit from them. I have had these coins before and too bad to say that I really in regret buying them after almost 2 years of holding, I can't say it was worth enough. From now on, I was hesitant not to just consider those coins among the top coins but to see their performance as well. Because many projects are even worthy than these coins (XRP and ADA), and they are more profitable.

XRP yes, ADA no. I would replace that ADA with Shimmer, FLARE, Q Blockchain, or NEAR.

You got a point as we don't know how the market will behave as volatility really affecting how investors decide after purchasing their assets,
if you'll going to invest better to divide your capital and divert some of your money to other platforms aside from crypto investment,
though if you are planning to proceed and use your entire capital then instead of picking one project it's better to segregate your money to different projects especially those well-known coin, even it will have a slow growth but the chance in a long-term is passive for your initial investment.

Surely for the last two years, they haven't done anything effective to make their coins rise their price and be one of the trends in the crypto market but since the competitions are tight and it's really hard nowadays to be on the top, they seem to have stopped their updates and developments for now. Thankfully their price has not crashed or else we lose both our earnings and capital. If I have a high amount of budget to spend on altcoins, I rather go for bitcoins for assurance because I know that if I bought it at its lower price, in the future I will surely get profit because bitcoin's price always recovers.

I think bitcoin is easier to invest and go out with profit depending if you understand the circle of bitcoin. If you want to profit in bitcoin then you have to invest to hodl for a long time probably longer to halving that will drive bitcoin to ATH. You need to read on bitcoin https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook. If you are investing for short time the price may probably not move faster as you are expecting your profit. Next time take a longer ride with bitcoin.

Well said, though for me i will divide the investment to like two or three part, making bitcoin the number one and i will put some few dollars on ethereum and finally consider BNB and it's for a purpose of their lunchpad, there are few benefits attached to holding BNB, so my three investment for the 10k dollars would be Bitcoin, ethereum and BNB.

XRP coin performance is getting worse in recent years so we have to consider the XRP trading history and you have to decide the right Altcoin pilgrim For Bitcoin. Take advantage of your assets to buy potential coins and do research on several coins to get high profit opportunities.

you are right, that the last ATH XRP could do was on Jan 04, 2018 (5 years ago) at $3.84, now it has decreased almost -88%. Of course, because many problems have occurred and cannot be resolved as quickly as possible, many are doubtful about XRP. So far, even though there is good news about the XRP problem, it hasn't been able to improve, whether it's because the crypto situation isn't good or XRP hasn't been able to move to improve immediately.
hopefully for the era of the upcoming halving period there will be changes with XRP, although it is more certain that as you said you will focus on altcoins such as ETH, BNB.

  1 to 3 years is not a long term, so you need to find an altcoin that is good for short term investment xrp and ADA is good  you also need to look at the eth and bnb this are also a legit coin and i believe if bull run begin those coin will give a huge return, there are a lot of coin the problem is how we can get a legit one, so for me i invested to the coin that already proven and tested.
