I made a post about crypto influencers not that long ago talking about how people still trust them despite all the cringe and stupid stuff they post.
In the the last post, after reading your comments, I came to conclusion that most of the people who follow crypto influencers are:
1) Normies (or lazy people who don't want to do research and want to follow trend)
2) Bots
3) Bitcoin uneducated people

I think the third category is the most interesting one because I don't know how long it will exist considering what is happening with Bitcoin right now.
We can see that there are more and more programs about Bitcoin awareness and crypto education. More people are getting interested in what bitcoin/crypto actually is. And one of the signs of Bitcoin adoption is the promotion of Bitcoin education.

I think in the next few years, influencers can lose their "influence" over uneducated people because they're gonna be fewer and fewer of these people on the internet. And I don't think that bots and normies are sustainable audiences so I think influencers will see a hard time soon.

And overall, bitcoin education will decrease people's need for influencers simply because they will already have all the knowledge needed and all these Twitter posts about "PUMP IS COMING" will sound pretty stupid. And you shouldn't be the most educated person to see it. And it's pretty obvious that all these Twitter people post specifically for people who don't have a good knowledge about crypto because most of these posts are just basics and hype.

So what do you think?
Will we finally see the fall of influencers or there still will be enough stupid people to follow their advice?

There are many online course and learning about Bitcoin can be accessed without need to pay anything because it's free. But most people don't want to learn because they only want to focus to make money and following the upcoming hype to buy a potential shitcoin. If people have spent their times to learn about Bitcoin, crypto influencers will fall day by day.

I think crypto influencers will not fall because there are a lot stupid people out there.

Why do you think that the "Bitcoin uneducated people" are different from the normies? There are many ignorant people, who are lazy and they simply don't want to start learning about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. You can call them however you want- normies, uneducated, lazy, sheep, etc. I don't divide them into different categories. They look all the same to me.
I don't think that the crypto influencers will go away. Most of the people have the mentality of sheep. They want to follow a leader. They don't want to be their own leaders and put their shit together. The world will always be full of stupid and lazy people, that's why the crypto influencers/crypto scammers will never fade away.

Also a lot of Normies/uneducated people would look at influencers and think they are
being educated!

Influencers speak the kind of language these people want to hear and the demand for them
is not going to dissipate because "cryptos" predominantly $hitcoins are constantly changing.
Followers will always be looking for the newest, bestest and fastest way to get rich quick.

To be fair though, there's probably a lot of influencers out there that's really passionate about crypto and will give you what you need, not what you want because boxing them all in 3 categories seems kind of indicative that you're quite quick to judge someone. I don't think there's going to be a fall for influencers because when the market rallies to green, guaranteed that they're going to sprout out of nowhere preaching about the market and shill their tokens.

There are still individuals in the social media cryptocurrency scene whom I can distinguish based on certain characteristics. Despite having been involved in cryptocurrency for more than eight years, they may not be referred to as "influencers." These individuals may have previously shown interest in various altcoins and made recommendations, resembling influencers, but now solely focus on Bitcoin, possibly due to their newfound millionaire status. I continue to follow individuals such as Peter Brandt and Leon Fu, who exercise caution in their opinions and tweets.

People still follow many influencers or Traders on Twitter and rely on their calls to make money in Crypto.
You go and see how Crypto Twitter AKA CT is filled with so-called gems who gave you an x100 call and you missed it and now once you start following them, they never give another x10.

About Influencers, they are total shit and shouldn't be taken seriously at all. Most of them are paid to shill a coin that doesn't have any future and whose chart looks like that of $ADA.
I have seen people commenting on these trader(s)/influencer(s) that they lost a lot of money just because of their call, Imagine buying a dip that no one cares about.

There will always be "Bitcoin" and "Crypto" uneducated people in the community as every day someone new joins in with a dream to become a millionaire with a coin as shit as DOGE after Elon's hype.
And that's not even the major problem, those who are leeching out the normies are the problem. Paid influencers are the problem. Shitty exchanges and projects are the problem.

Many people who are uneducated in the field of cryptocurrencies always identify opportunities in the industry created by influencers with the intention of profiting by imitating their actions. On the other hand, some people are so lethargic that they are unable to put their knowledge to use in order to support their own investment.
So what do you think?
Will we finally see the fall of influencers or there still will be enough stupid people to follow their advice?
In some categories, especially those who invest in ponzi schemes, they always have deaf ears, and I believe there are many of them in the cryptocurrency industry with the aim of becoming rich quickly, so this kind of people will never get the chance to learn because of their aim of becoming rich quickly in the crypto industry. I may say that stupid people may never finish in this world regardless of the guidance they try to give them. despite the fact that there are several Crypto books and online courses available, people are not prepared to study.

Either you go all in or you stay out. Don't just learn something and think that it is enough. In education, nothing is considered enough. The same goes for learning bitcoin. Once you know what the influencers are doing and trying to manipulate you, you will avoid them at any cost. It is not so hard to learn once you see how they manipulate others. So what is really important to let people know first? The education on Bitcoin or the scams that those influencers are doing?
I think from my POV, it should be exposing those influencers first. Because when people will have no one to lean on, they will start to learn on their own. That way, we kill the root of the problem and the solution will come out on its own.

I am not sure only stupid people follow their advice. People from all backgrounds and levels of experience may follow the advice of crypto influencers, including those who are new to the cryptocurrency space and looking for guidance, as well as experienced investors and traders who may value the insights and analysis provided by these influencers.

The stupid thing to do, as for me, is to follow them without a critical eye and doing your own research before making any investment decisions. The danger of crypto influencers is in the fact that they can be persuasive and appear confident in their analysis and recommendations, which can lead people to rely solely on their advice without conducting their own research and analysis. It's important to remember that crypto influencers are not financial advisors, and their recommendations should be considered as just one source of information.

Most of them are just in it for engagement & the paid advertising & sponsorship they get from it. Very few are true, dedicated bitcoin maxis. There are no heroes in bitcoin & that’s what makes its decentralised design so special, we don’t have to rely on any individuals.

I have seen so many of these so called influencers turn to shilling crappy alts because they get paid to do it. Ben Armstrong is one of the worst & MMCrypto is equally irritating. That Moon Carl dude is annoying too. None of tyese guys are worth following.

I think in the next few years, influencers can lose their "influence" over uneducated people because they're gonna be fewer and fewer of these people on the internet.
I'd be curious to know who the big crypto influencers are we're talking about (and I fucking hate that word, but I'm going to use it anyway) and through what platform(s) they're spreading their charismatic, bought-and-paid-for advice.  I'm assuming it's mostly Youtube?

As to the above snippet, I would hope that'd be the case but I'm pessimistic about the masses losing interest in peddlers of hype.  I mean the information is all out there as far as what bitcoin is about, and yet a lot of people just want to watch videos with clickbait thumbnails and they never get past that stage.

There are two Youtube "influencers" I detest in particular--and mind you, I'm not that familiar with who the most popular are because I rarely watch videos about crypto.

The first is bitboycrypto (I think that's his tag).  I've seen other Youtubers play clips of his videos, and it's goddamn obvious he's the crypto equivalent of Jim Cramer, but probably much worse in the obviousness of his bullshit.

The second is Voskcoin, though last I knew he was primarily focused on mining.  His smugness and general presentation is just repulsive to me, and he--like most other big GPU mining channels--is probably a Youtuber first and foremost and a miner as a secondary passion.

TL;DR:  Fuck 'em all.

We have to be careful about the so called crypto influencers because all they are after is to persuade you to invest on anything they are promoting in other for them to ensure that you got the idea and go for it irrespective of the challenges or conditions associated as long as they will get paid by what they do, this makes it very paramount for us to always research on anything before showing interest, once they've brought you in they left you vulnerable to yourself to face the risk and consequences.

You don't have to buy any online courses about Bitcoin to understand Bitcoin when we already have access to the internet, everything there is to know is available on the web, Google is a good place to start learning.

I believe that most crypto influencers can't be trusted because many of them are after their own selfish gains only, but it's wrong to believe that they are all the same, some crypto influencers do know what they are doing, they want to to grow their followers just like the fake crypto influencers but they give very good advice and info to their followers.

If watching videos and following the crypto influencers is what you do, make sure you follow those that do know what they are talking about.

Just like you have explained, not everybody has the time to keep going from one platform to the other to search for information in order to get informed. As a cryptocurrency investors or traders, I don't see anything wrong in following influencers or trying to get some pieces of information from them since they are always active and doing research about the market but what we need to do is to be very careful on how we utililize information we get from cryptocurrency influencers. There should be a limit to how we sort for info from cryptocurrency influencers to limit our risks.

Normally, bots don't earn influencers anything; it's likely the nomies and the uneducated Bitcoiners or the crypto newbies. They are always in a rush to make money and thereby fall into scam altcoin projects or even get duped by someone promising to multiply their investment. There are really some people who will not devote time to learning, and there is no way to totally change that fact, so influencers will still benefit from that.

Bots only make up followers for those influencers; if one really takes their time to scam an influencer account, you will discover that there are a significant number of bots in those account, and victims just fall for the high numbers of followers those influencers have, not knowing that a lot are just bots.

1) Normies (or lazy people who don't want to do research and want to follow trend)
2) Bots
3) Bitcoin uneducated people
I'm thinking on which on the three am I because I did follow some in the past, but not anymore. Maybe I will just put myself in the third one, because I don't consider myself as Normies since I always do research whenever I invest into a new project. I'm not a bot as well. At least in the third one, for me it isn't uneducated, but more of a "lack of knowledge" kind of people.

So what do you think?
Will we finally see the fall of influencers or there still will be enough stupid people to follow their advice?
There will still be stupid people following them, and just by looking at how many people are spending their time on the internet, I believe that they will not stop.

I mean there will still be lazy people around the world who will just follow what the influencers they're following are recommending, and when they lost, they will put the blame on them which is quite ridiculous knowing that these people who are following these influencers are lazy.

Do they think that being lazy will make them rich? Do they think that following the recommendations of these influencers will make them rich? Do they think that just throwing money into a project without any knowledge into it will make them rich. If only it's that easy to be rich, then we must all be rich by now.

~
The first is bitboycrypto (I think that's his tag).  I've seen other Youtubers play clips of his videos, and it's goddamn obvious he's the crypto equivalent of Jim Cramer, but probably much worse in the obviousness of his bullshit.

The second is Voskcoin, though last I knew he was primarily focused on mining.  His smugness and general presentation is just repulsive to me, and he--like most other big GPU mining channels--is probably a Youtuber first and foremost and a miner as a secondary passion.

TL;DR:  Fuck 'em all.
I did follow these 2 crypto influencers back in the year 2019 I think. Bitboycrypto in 2019, and Voskcoin in 2020. Cheesy
Overall, they are being paid to shill some new projects that's why I'm not following them anymore. TBH, I don't know anymore influencers who are advertising projects than these 2 especially Bitboy which is just a stupid sh*t who advertised a few projects in his channel, and now those projects are nowhere to be found now.

It's just crazy that Bitboy has more than a million subscribers still while Voskcoin has 600k+ subscribers, and that shows that there are still people who are either getting entertained with their videos or following what project/s they're advertising on their channel. Well, I subscribed to Voskcoin back in 2020 not because of him focusing on mining (because I can't mine Bitcoin using mining rigs here), but because his Shiba Inu doggy "Tails" is very cute.  Cheesy Cheesy

There will always be stupid people, but like you have said the number of stupid persons that just take the opinions of these influencers simply because they appear to be successful online will reduce more as awareness spreads the more. Everything comes down to information, the person with the information is the most powerful person, and since influencers have good access to information better than most of their followers, they have a strong influence over them. When this information about Cryptocurrency becomes more distributed that more persons have access to it, people will no longer need to depend on these influencers when they can now make and form an opinion on their own from the information they have.

When it comes to general knowledge about bitcoin, it is true that we can get information for FREE via searching it in the internet but the problem is that you will have the hard time on what sources and also the process of studying that you will do. There will be information overload wherein you will be confused by studying a lot of topics.

But if you have spare money that you willing to allocate for some online courses in order for you to have mentor that will teach you from beginner into advance levels then it is better just make sure you will choose a Legit teacher and not a mentor who just focusing to make money.

I do not trust influencers because they are posting crypto related topics because of monetisation and brand deals. Better to get information in the legit sources that can help you to have better investment decisions.

People still follow many influencers or Traders on Twitter and rely on their calls to make money in Crypto.
You go and see how Crypto Twitter AKA CT is filled with so-called gems who gave you an x100 call and you missed it and now once you start following them, they never give another x10.

Consider yourself lucky if you are not given another 10x because it shows that such a person is been realistic, 10x projects in a bear market are very rare and if anyone keeps giving you a 10x project almost every time something is wrong, they are trying to use you and their followers to pump their bags, it means they have gotten into the projects before you and only you the followers can help them reach their main target and they will dump their bags on you.

When they don't give another call it's because they don't have any, good calls don't just always pop up in crypto space, do you know how many projects get into crypto per week? Sometimes it's over 100s and the majority of these projects are scams.
