For me, web3.0 casinos are the ones where you can connect the decentralized wallet and play, as well as play with deposits and the centralized system, I don't know if I'm wrong, but web3 casinos are promoting them a lot as if it were the saint Grail, the truth is that I still trust the old casinos like freebitcoin, in duelbits which I consider to be very good, for me all this is happening as a fad, where everyone wants to interact in order to have good results, but I prefer that casinos integrate web3 to see how it goes, but the old ones.
The current web3 casino is not the real web3 definition because they are not using blockchain for all their games. They are just using the blockchain on the payment system and the rest is just the typical centralized casino you have a separated wallet inside that you don’t have access to private key. Real web3 casino doesn’t require you to deposit and you can bet directly on your wallet using a smart contract on bet of your choice. this is why players should be careful on what these casinos are advertising about their platform. take time to read their terms and see what they are really offering. check their features and see if they are complying to be a real web3 gambling site. if in any way, you have no full control with your wallet, then that's not web3. you should use your own wallet and it is your own prerogative where or when do you want to play and use your own wallet. maybe, to have a quick overview of the difference of web 2.0 vs web 3.0 based on this - what is web 3.0?
Please take note that there is other web which is called web 3.0 which is very different from your given definition. According to this article[1] Web3 is different from web 3.0, it is that wikipedia made an error when it stated that web3 is also called web 3.0 The difference between the two is that web3 the decentralized, blockchain-based web - and Web 3.0 which is Tim Berners-Lee's vision of a linked or semantic web.[1]

Everything in web3 gives advantages to the owner/user itself but since it’s still in a process, we can’t actually give its precise meaning. However, for me, web3 offers a lot of advancements like we don’t have to face problems like KYC since everything that the casino will ask has been input already in our own non-custodial wallet.
But what about the future, there is possibility that the government may want to attack the web3 gambling sites and asked them to make KYC compulsory. Making KYC compulsory on web3 is very possible. Gambling sites, decentralized exchanges and other platforms that are using web3 may become a place of know your customers in the future.

Well, technically they can catch us, and they can do it pretty easily and to be precise, the hunt down has already begun. I read in a post recently that the authorities are planning to regulate decentralized platforms since they operate without proper licensing and such and they will need to comply with the rules and regulations as well. So maybe very soon, even decentralized platforms will start asking for KYC from their users or they won't be able to use the platforms or even connect their wallets since that is how decentralized platforms are used basically.

The difference between the two is that web3 the decentralized, blockchain-based web - and Web 3.0 which is Tim Berners-Lee's vision of a linked or semantic web.
Makes me wonder which one comes first. While the focus is quite different I think the goal can be achieved under the same platform. If I'm not wrong, the focus on data control for both of them is quite similar albeit solved in different ways. I don't think casinos or any centralized platform will try to participate in semantic/linked websites though. Well, technically they can catch us, and they can do it pretty easily and to be precise, the hunt down has already begun. I read in a post recently that the authorities are planning to regulate decentralized platforms since they operate without proper licensing and such and they will need to comply with the rules and regulations as well.
The only thing a decentralized-focused platform can do is probably built another UI that doesn't rely on a centralized server, using something like IPFS for example. I believe the government would not spend too much time and money trying to shut down smart contracts or miners since they can just make more profit from that, which is why somebody can pretty much ignore the UI and use smart contract interactions when they want trades. Although I don't think that's ideal for something like a casino.

Lately we have seen a lot of online casinos that are considering themselves as Web3.0 but in reality it’s just a name, they don’t over a real Decentralized experience for players. So i want to know from you what’s are all the features an online casino should have to be considered as web3.0 casino?
1. For a Web 3.0 casino to be considered decentralized, it must be constructed using blockchain or other decentralized technologies. 2. Cryptocurrency payments and withdrawals should be accommodated by the casino. 3. It is crucial for the casino to provide provably fair games, which ensures that game outcomes can be verified and not tampered with. 4. Smart contracts, which are self-executing contracts with terms and conditions directly coded into them, must be used by a Web 3.0 casino.

Gambling sites, decentralized exchanges and other platforms that are using web3 may become a place of know your customers in the future. That is why I don't buy the web3 hype. It's another buzzword created to market something that has already gone stale because the words they try to label it is something that isn't catchy and appealing to the masses. Even if Web3 goes full-blown and almost everything becomes decentralized, one swift order from the government to make KYC mandatory and all of those years building up said technologies to combat centralization will be wasted and left at the mercy of the government. Especially for casinos, it will be an easy target for the government to impose their laws and regulations to these platforms because they need to be registered in order to operate. And if you're a registered entity, the government knows who you are and can basically make arrests if you do not comply with their demands. All in all, the idea of a web3 casino is to just bypass KYC restrictions imposed by the government, but in the end this wouldn't matter that much because the government can just do what they usually do and impose their KYC regulations and get what they need/want.

Web3 has to be decentralized so if a casino is claiming to be a web3 project then it has to have all of the features of decentralized projects. The casino should be accessable with my metamask wallet that I won't have to deposit but can connect my wallet directly. There should be no restrictions of which location can access the casino. If there's a restrictions then that means the casino is not decentralized as they claim but centralized just disguising so they can gain audiences from those who are interested in decentralization. There are so many feature that should make a casino decentralized, the games has to be P2P. The casino shouldn't be involved as two or three members can host a betting game with in themselves although the casino will have their commission but not interfere.

One of the key elements that define a casino as 3.0 is decentralization. A decentralized network powered by blockchain technology should run it. Additionally, it must support several currencies, which will be advantageous to us gamblers who support a number of altcoins. A casino would also be regarded as web 3.0 if it produces fair gameplay, security, and accountability, all of which will simultaneously be protecting its players and the casino. Since most casinos also prohibit VPN usage, I hope that the innovative gambling industry will take the location restriction into consideration in the future. Players from gambling-restricted areas have long struggled with this restriction.

It's true you can gamble through your non custodial wallet, but the site has a rule about KYC, I think if they feel suspicious with your wallet, they will not allow you to gamble and will ask your KYC through your email address. If not then your token could be frozen if they're report it to someone who can control the coins you hold, remember altcoins is centralized and your coins can be frozen even it's already on non custodial wallet.

Web3 casinos operate on web3 technology in a way that punters connect their noncustodial wallet to a gambling site in a way that payments are settled on blockchain, unlike the deposit and withdraw on centralized casinos.
This is great! I did not know that in this way it is possible to conduct transactions in casino

Yes, actually it's just a decentralized casino that doesn't have KYC rules because basically they only transact through smart contracts and the dealer can't cheat in games that gamblers do, everything runs using smart contracts only, but if you play at a casino that still uses e-mail, that's already definitely will be asked for KYC even though the casino supports web3, I'm not too interested in playing in a decentralized casino either. I don't know why people avoid KYC, shouldn't it be for the sake of protecting our money from insecure smart contracts in decentralized casinos, why not play at big casinos that can obviously keep our money there, besides, I don't think it's a problem if you are asked for KYC as long as it's for safety and comfort for ourselves.

Any casino that claimed to be decentralized are running the business at its own risk, no casino should claim to be decentralized unless they are operating off the radar or in a country where decentralization is all that matters to them, FED forbid running an unregistered casino and the penalty is very severe.
The web3 name is just an attracting strategy, I have not seen any one casino that's truly decentralized or fully functioning on the web3, many new casinos are looking for a more effective way to attract many gamblers and they have to use what is presently trending in the world today, which is web3, metaverse and gaming and AI.
Any casino owner will proudly do the same today.
A decentralized casino and a centralized casino without a license are basically operating the same way, without paying any taxes and running off the radar and that is the reason why usually see authorities hunting down some casinos that are unregistered and unregulated, so decentralized casinos are probably going to get targeted too. And you are totally right that most of the time, the name of web3 is just used for marketing purposes since it is among the trends that are circulating within the crypto community these days. From personal experience, I've only witnessed 1 decentralized casino in my life, it was announced on this forum though I don't remember the name, it must still be there. We as players have to grab it in the air like you did, the fact that it's web3 is Because it Draws attention, it's something Different, it's like when they Ask you and you say you're Playing in a web3 casino because it seems Better to you,but many people They do not understand what it really means, here the importance is that if it is decentralized, it simply will not have some annoying Requirements such as pderi KYC and that your Wallet be associated so that you can play,it would be Another way to do it, not bad but it's not a big deal either.

Lately web3 has become so popular and already making waves but to me especially in gambling, I don't see any web3 project as being realistic because they only end up with some shitty craps without any form of decentralization which is the main purpose of web3 and I believe that web3 gambling should be working in a web3 technology which might require very high internet and individuals wouldn't be getting that easily without having to lias with the government and I believe that the government might even make things hard that they will have to bend to its terms.

Governments are cracking down scam gambling sites so don't know to what extent this web 3.0 casino can operate. If crypto gambling sites are applying for their license, how can a web 3.0 get their license as they are decentralized? So basically, you are playing on a non-licensed casino and you don't know where to go to if something big goes wrong. This is why a lot of gamblers still prefer to play on a kyc-casino because they can easily get the support from their troubles. And maybe this is the reason why most old decentralized casinos didn't survive, remember there were casinos like that in the old days.

No longer today. Many have been stopped with their popular thanks to the bear market that we've been through and that's one of the weakness of these trends, the bear market. Even into these casinos that are labelling themselves as web 3.0 casinos. They've got a lot of purpose to say but still ends up being just not so different casinos from the others. They're offering some tokens to make it look like they're truly decentralized but they have complete control from their operations and their tokenomics.

For me as long as it involve crypto and the rest of the technology that involves around it, I can call that as a web3 casino. Decentralization isn't likely to be achieved on a casino, the only closest one is Bitcoin but I can't tell if it can still be called like that.
You have a wrong understanding, most of crypto are centralized and any casino that ask you to submit KYC is centralized which mean those two reasons already ruin WEB 3.0 definition. Gambling using Bitcoin isn't decentralized too because you need to send your coins to the casino and the casino have access to your coins. Until now there's no real WEB 3.0 casino, most of them are less decentralized casino. True. Web3 concept is just only seen in the paper but it will never be realized in existing centralized casinos as decentralized casinos these days are just rare to see. You could be gambling in decentralized ones but you can’t guarantee that you are not gambling in an illegal and scam casino. That’s why forget about Web 3.0. Having decentralized perspective will always be ideal but that is not what we seen in reality in gambling. So just settle on what is the trend these days and what will make your funds more safe in gambling.

There are many Web3 projects in the gambling space that are striving towards achieving true decentralization. These projects are leveraging blockchain technology and smart contracts to create trustless, transparent, and provably fair gambling experiences for users. I believe that as Web3 technology continues to evolve, we will see advancements that make it more accessible to individuals. Sometimes our governments may have different stances on Web3 technology, but the beauty of decentralized systems is that they are not beholden to any central authority, including governments.

But what about the future, there is possibility that the government may want to attack the web3 gambling sites and ask them to make KYC compulsory. Making KYC compulsory on web3 is very possible. Gambling sites, decentralized exchanges and other platforms that are using web3 may become a place to know your customers in the future. _act_ I have thought of that repeatedly because web3 casino can not continue to act cylinder the reader of regulators, and at some point, they are going to be forced to enforce KYC are close down, but still there are some instances where the decentralized platforms will operate for year's without possible regulatory control and in such instance, there can enforce any feature their dim fit for the businesses. If Bitcoin can exist without interference then web3 casinos can operate on a decentralized mechanism without possible climb down, but let's keep the figure crossed to see whabecomesme the outcome of this development is.

One thing I have noticed is that many of these casinos want to be known to the latest trending so that gamblers that are lovers of the trending will subscribe to there network. That is what many thinks and it had been working for them but I don't see any need for that rather than just been the regular casino we used to know. Many of the Cryptocurrency projects are claiming to be web3 the fact is that we are not even sure of they ever know what they are claiming. There projects casinos that claims to be web3 are only interested is gaining the heart of gamblers.
