Moving abroad isn't an easy decision; there are several factors to take into account, with the most important one being the language barrier. I only speak English; moving anywhere apart from the USA and UK would be a huge challenge because I'd have to learn a new language from scratch. Moreover, you'd have to take into account the increasing living costs of Germany compared to Greece, which means that you must have saved enough money until you manage to get settled in one place.

Moving is as expensive as almost setting up a small business. There are other countries that speak English aside the US and UK. In addition, there are countries where they have a large international community, so they are lenient on learning their own language. Countries where English speakers are needed to help teach their kids in school English. The standard of living in countries differs from state to state. So, you have to move abroad, you need to consider moving to a state or province where the standard of living is relative low.

So far, in my opinion, the best option for work seems to be online, especially if it has flexible hours and a working schedule. You can work from wherever and whenever you want, provided you get the job done. Digital nomads have been increasing over the past few years, and it seems like a perfect opportunity that provides work-life balance. I believe that it's something that would suit my personal needs. I want to travel and explore as many destinations as possible, so working a regular 9-5 job with 20 vacation days per year isn't going to cut it.

This is another great option for people with digital skills. Those without any digital skills may have to spend another two years acquiring the skills to even gain an entry level position to be able to perfect the skill before considering online work. It is not easy so the individual will require some patience.

I will travel abroad without thinking twice about it if the opportunity shows. I can't even compare the opportunities in my country (an underdeveloped) and in countries in the west(developed countries).I have watched my friends who left the country do 10 times better, send money back to the country and build a house and set up businesses for their family members. They have gone on to attain the highest height in academia, in business and in their careers. There are no barriers or limits to them when they travel abroad like it is in my country.

Yes if you have good opportunities over there never go to abroad without any homework like check your options , how to earn ,what kind of jobs you can do and where and how you'll live . As moving aborad requires a heavy amount and it take your money and time so before big decisions do search.

I'll be out in the job market in a few months after I finish with my mandatory military enlistment, and I'm unsure of what challenges and opportunities I'm going to face. It's really strange how you've written all this. Are you American military personnel based in Greece and expecting to move back to America? If so, you might be unlikely to get a working Visa to visit Europe again unless you have a very useful skill or qualification. Anyone who has lived in Europe for a while would know that it's possible to travel to most countries in the bloc even if you only know English, besides that you should make a bit of effort to assimilate and learn at least the basics of the language in any country you visit. What sort of "digital nomad" job are you expecting to be able to jump into? It's a highly competitive area and unless you can carve out a little niche in advance, then it'll take you a while to build up a sustainable income.

There is enough logic in your words. In this age of technology, it is easy to know from your home what is happening in the world. We often think that working abroad is easy. But the reality is that working there is tough but the remuneration is high. If I do a job in my country, I will be able to spend my time with my family and relatives. Moreover, many of those who have gone abroad and want to return but are unable to come considering the financial issue. A native citizen may not get the same opportunities abroad. Some even get good working environment. But not all countries have good opportunities. I am not willing to go abroad if there is a good job opportunity in my country.

In my country many people believe that moving out of the country is the solution to the problem they have and on getting to the other country started complaining about how the place is not much of a difference then where the left.

Financial reason is one of the major reasons why people migrate to other countries. But other reasons will discourage me from moving out of my country. Remember you cannot enjoy the rights and privileges you enjoy in your home country in a strange land. Sometimes you might suffer from racism or segregation because you are an immigrant. If I have a good online job that has a lucrative salary I might decide to remain in my country instead of going abroad and be treated as a modern slave.

Another alternative could be moving out of my country, endue the problems for a few years, raising capital, returning to my country, and starting up a good business.

moving abroad is not difficult and there a person can get maximum income but one have to leave all close relatives and have to go for getting income so I think relationship is more important than living abroad for maximum income. If it was I then I will prefer engaging in online jobs because everyone can do online job there is no limitation and no boundaries on anyone to participate in it.

If there is a scarcity of jobs so it is important to engage in some other activities to earn income for the fulfilment of one's needs and whenever you get job then leave that private way of earning but one can do dual job one as a part time job.

I value comfort so much so that I don't even stay at places that I am not familiar with. And moving abroad is a no no from me. When you live with a certain  amount of expenses and move out to another country and try to adjust yourself to a different one, it's a bit too much. And the income you can make and save in your country is sometime better than going abroad to try your luck. But that's where I like your idea. Doing jobs online gives us every freedom that we could wish for. It's a dream life. That said, you can wake up at any time and your dreams could fall apart. So it has it good side and bad side.

Would really be entirely be depending on  your choice on which one you would really be able to see on whats worth a career path to take but for me as long you do able to have your day job despite on having lots of criticisms about working for someone or have that 8-5 chain but we cant really deny that we do really compete out among others to get that particular spot and which you cant really just let yourself taking over.
If you do see that economical issues had been affecting majorly then its up to you whether you would be changing up careers or would be going abroad literally just because you've seen that job pays is really that
much higher compared into your locale which it is really that a very common mindset for most workers but its true that there are lots of things to be considered first.

If one can develop his skills and work online then he can increase his income significantly. People who work online usually get international standard pay rolls. That means hourly work pays much more they are able to get good money from the country. Although very few people get this opportunity. But its scope is increasing day by day. I don't think there is a better way to earn dollars without going abroad. Moreover, many are able to work online even after conducting their business in their country successfully.

I am very fortunate that I have finally found a job that I really enjoy and that pays me a very fare wage, and I sympathize with those who are still on that journey to finding the right job, a job that pays well and enables someone to live a life free of worry whether they will be able to pay the next rent payment or not..with that said, I'd still absolutely consider working over seas, but not long term.  Short term, I'd consider living and working anywhere.

I thought about teaching English in Japan many year back.  Apparently there's positions like this that don't even require the teacher being fluent in the other language. I had a friend who did this, moved from the US to Japan to teach English, and do so for 4-5 years.

As far as I know, working in countries like Japan and Korea all have to work more than 16 hours a day, which is very hard, it can be said that going to work abroad is not as pleasant as we think. A few years ago, I also heard many cases of workers in Japanese factories jumping to suicide because of work pressure, causing them to fall into crisis. Everyone likes a lot of money, but if I have to choose, I still prefer to stay in my hometown rather than go abroad to work with many times more pressure.

I've also noticed that those caregivers in the Middle East are mostly not treated well; others will ask for help as they can't eat as their boss or the family that they are working with are not feeding them, and others have died. It is really hard to cope physically and emotionally because you are out in another country and your family stays in your country. With a great salary comes great responsibility; you'll really sacrifice things, either your time or yourself, which affects you a lot. It is really good to live a simple life.

If you think you can't afford all the expenses, it's better to just work abroad. But if you are still able and able to cover your daily expenses, it is better to just look for an extra job or sideline online or offline. The best thing to do is to have budgeting for every income and avoid fancy luxuries to save.

We are almost in the same situation, here with us I don't have a regular job anymore but somebody give me a extra work. But I have saved up since I started working regularly, so now I'm just working with them as farmers and sometimes someone hires me to work at the construction site. Then I also strategize on ways to earn money online as a free lancer so that somehow I have some money saved that can be used when needed.

What's the need of traveling abroad if I have a good job that pays me well in my country? The mistake I will do is to leave my current work that I have developed myself on by leaving it outside just for me to start afresh in a new environment all because of a better future that I have already found in our country. If I should travel abroad it will just be for holidays not for a better future period.
