yeah all my ram is going way up in price.

I had hundreds of gpus and many mobos.

the ram and the ssds are all worth more than the purchase prices I paid for them.

hard to believe a 30 dollar stick of ram is now over 50

Is there a big market for used computer junk in the US?
I see that 32GB and higher memory sticks are getting more expensive, but you can always find inexpensive 4x4GB options on the used market.
I also don't see much of a price increase for budget graphics cards. The RX 5060 8GB costs between $400 and $450, depending on the model in Russia. Two months ago, the price wasn't much lower, maybe a $20-$30 difference.

A new Board Channel report claims NVIDIA and add-in board partners have set a Q1 2026 supply mix that puts most volume into a small set of GeForce RTX 50 models. The report says the combined share for three SKUs is about 75%.

The backdrop is the same one we have been hearing for weeks. DRAM supply is tight and GDDR procurement costs are rising. Partners have already been linking availability issues to memory constraints.

In this updated plan, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB is described as the main “volume” model for the quarter. The GeForce RTX 5060 8GB is listed as the second most common option. The next priority is the GeForce RTX 5070.

NVIDIA will reduce mainland China GPU supply by about 30% in this quarter

Board Channels rumors may not always be fully accurate, but its recent posts about RTX 50 supply and prioritization were spot on. While NVIDIA denied limiting supply of specific models and said all RTX 50 SKUs will continue to ship, the SKUs mentioned in these rumors are becoming more expensive to buy.

Around December, a rumor on the same forum claimed NVIDIA would limit RTX 50 GPU supply by 30% to 40%. A new post now says overall GPU supply to the mainland China market will be reduced by around 30% versus a “regular quarter.” The post attributes the claim to information from upstream NVIDIA and add-in card partners.

NVIDIA Reportedly Developing Extra Powerful GeForce RTX 50-series Flagship Model
Link
Last Friday, an Overclocking.com article made an extremely bold claim about a new RTX 5000-series graphics card model arriving at some point later on in 2026. The France-based publication cites unnamed sources of inside information; mostly gathered during last month's CES trade show. The rumor-heavy report insists that the mysterious "Blackwell" gaming range-topper exists as a separate entity; distinct from Team Green's supposedly postponed GeForce RTX 50 "SUPER" refresh family. According to Overclocking.com's CES 2026 ground team, three unnamed brand representatives had whispered about "a new RTX card for 2026." Additionally, another OCC staffer heard of similar theories—from a "different set" of company reps—during a recent trip through Asian. After gathering sufficient evidence from industry contacts, Overclocking.com proposes that a "model positioned above" NVIDIA's current "Blackwell" flagship gaming card—the GeForce RTX 5090 32 GB—is on the way. The French site even sent a tip-off to VideoCardz—latterly, the highly-popular graphics card news specialist has not picked up on similar gossip from its own network of board partner moles.

Check it out. I've never seen anything like it.
This graphics card is astronomically priced.
For that price, you can buy a random 5090 graphics card and an additional 5070.
