Yes, there might be some influence if someone who is religiously devout is clear they will not commit this suicide practice, but again there are also no devout religious people who play gambling and make bets which should not be done by minors, that means there is no need to bring any religion for someone to commit suicide because basically no religion teaches that.

first of all i will add some here about my knowledge. someone who ends his life by committing suicide is not related to religion but its just that that person has a hormone disorder in his mind which is continuously consumed by the body so that the organs in the mind become damaged so they cannot work properly or cannot think long term so it will it is said that the person is depressed like the story told by the OP. this is an example of a person who has a high level of depression because he ended his life just because of gambling.

some people who are religious usually have serious problems in their life as told by the OP and they will usually be closer to their religion to pour out all their hearts and minds to believe if something can help them. that simply. but not everyone has thoughts like that, even preferring to vent to bad things because of the mindset that is influenced by hormones.

Limiting the internet access wont be that effective because parents cant control their children's internet surfing activity 24/7.
There are some ways for children to trick the limit by using VPN or other things.
What is more important to do is to educate our children about it, direct communication from heart to heart will be better.
I'm as a father do not limit the internet access of my son but I tell him regularly about any possible negative effects that may come from the internet.
Not only about gambling but about many other things as well such as porn, drugs, investment, even about crypto trading.
